Light and airy doughnut with sliced strawberries & cream along with a dollop of super flavorful strawberry jam in the center. You'll come to crave this creation.

Star Provisions is an excellent counter-service eatery. They have indoor and outdoor communal sitting and it's very well lit and pretty. They also have a general store vibe about them, you can buy merchandise as well as delicious food. Ok so for the food, I'm not a first timer here but it's been a few years. Holy cow everything I had was good. I ordered the bao buns and the cucumber salad. It was the perfect combination . These pork belly baos weee perfect. The pork belly was crisp and tender but not dry at all. The sauce and little chow chow on top were magic.. the cucumbers I had were tossed in spices and sesame oil, topped with sesame seeds. I could eat that every single day.

Delicious lunch spot with great service and friendly people! Outdoor and indoor seating with healthy, fresh food :)

It's been awhile since I had the chicken biscuit. This time it was good. Smaller piece of chicken. Just didn't look or taste as impressive as before. The dog jumping up on the food counter? Not a good look for a restaurant.

Great lunch spot! Best chi latte I've ever had!! You order at the counter and get a number. They bring the food to your table. The shop had plenty of seating and also items for sale you can look at while you wait for your food. We got the omelette baguette, (next time I would get bacon or sausage added) their up charges do seem pretty high. The bao buns are the way to go!! They were excellent!! I would order those next time.

Pretty good food since they are a part of Bacchanalia (which also has superb food). Crispy chicken biscuit: The sweet pickles were an interesting twist. The hot pepper honey, which isn't discernibly spicy, added a lovely and sweet flavor. The chicken was indeed crispy and flavorful. Definitely a fancy chicken biscuit, but it wasn't over priced by that much ($8). Roast beef sandwich: The sandwich included chips and a few pieces of pickles. Though a sizable sandwich, it was lackluster in flavor. The roast beef was somewhat thinly sliced and had lettuce and tomatoes. It was good, but was it worth the $12?! Roasted marinated beets: The hubs took a liking to this more than his sandwich. The candied pecans gave it an interesting texture. The beets were rich in color with a slight flavor profile. I thoroughly enjoyed this even though I stay away from veggies -- lol. The chai latte was really good. It had a lot of flavor and was sweet. The cortado was good too.

Best Sandwich in Atlanta: Star Provisions is a not-so-hidden Atlanta gem and is easily my favorite local joint in the city! Their best features include minimal wait times, fantastic service, and high quality, thoughtfully-prepared dishes. For food of this caliber I would have expected much higher prices, however the Shrimp Po Boy was $14 and the Eggplant Bahn Mi was $13. The food came promptly and the portion sizes were enough for even the hungriest of customer. Our sandwiches were delicious, some of the best we've had in Atlanta. Every aspect of the food reflects purposeful thought in creation: the amount of protein, the choice of bread, and the balance of the sauce. Interior: The room is lined with local, high-end, goodies and gifts: ingredients, gadgets, and toys. The architecture of the building is comfortable and modern. Customer Service: Each employee has the same genuine enthusiasm for their work. Everyone we interacted with was delightful! We will be back!

Plenty of parking in this perfectly cleaned parking lot. Pick up provisions or a pick me up or just breakfast. My hubby and I shared the French Omelet Baguette with Fine herbs, brie, aioli for $10.00. Yum! Just enough herbs to not overpower the eggs and subtle brie. Darjeeling tea with milk, should have had it plain, no milk since it was Harney and Sons but it was too hot to drink and hubby didn't want to hang out. I would spend the time just staying outside for :30 and reading, relaxing and enjoying this little nook of a place. We also has a biscuit and jam...hubby is obsessed with biscuits. I thought the scones and croissants looked divine...the cookies could get you into trouble as well. The biscuit was tasty and the jam, well, jammy. It was fine...go with the scone ;) Walk around the store for a moment and in the back there is a restaurant that opens for dinner offering 4 course. Would take my mom and interesting menu. ;) Went back for a 2nd time and hot the falafel burger, cranberry scone and pain d'epi bread!!! I will say the 2nd time we sat on a bench next to the a/c unit by a flower bush and I got up and my hiking pants were covered in I think bee/flower pollen. My pants were old but if you are wearing something nice perhaps sit on a metal chair or out down a few napkins, my own fault. Still, such a lovely place! Go, enjoy and relax!

Star light, star bright, star provisions at first light. At least that is when I showed up to this quaint coffee shop. Maybe it's not a coffee shop, I didn't order coffee anyway. What I did get was a crispy chicken biscuit, so let's call it a cafe. The biscuit itself was the slightest bit too dense for me, though the chicken itself was moist and had good flavor. I think the pickle and honey flavors that were noted on the menu were subtle at best, and wish they were stronger to compliment the chicken. While I wouldn't come back here for the food, the environment was 10/10. It's a utopia that reminds me of the Pacific Northwest with the surrounding trees and rustic atmosphere. The cafe is not the people watching European cafe vibes. But a great place to mellow out to get some work done, or solve your existential crisis. Maybe I'll have to come back to solve mine.

It's a country style bakery, tables are benches where any guests can share a bench with others and not necessarily know others Order at the counter style/ take a number and waiters will bring the food to table when ready Food is delicious, orders were home made outstanding pancakes, charcuterie board with turkey, Brie, bread, vegetables and fruits , omelette sandwich was excellent Portions are generous! For dessert was choice of homemade chocolate meringues , chocolate krinkles and biscotti This place is attached to a Michelin restaurant bacchanalia Recommended

What a wonderful little cheese shop that also sources a selection of local Georgian treats…read more There was an upcoming virtual event that I couldn't make but had called to get more details. I spoke with Mary on the phone. She was very friendly, high energy and helpful. She happened to note the shop hours for the next day during our conversation. Since I had some free time, I decided to frive out there the next day. I had the pleasant experience of meeting Mary (and her curious pooch) in person and she was every bit of the fantastic person that I spoke to the day before. I was the only customer at the time so I was privy to a brief personal tour. I received information on the various products, who made them, where they were made, etc. There was a lot of good choices in the small shop. After much debate I decide on the following items: 1. Goodson Cinnamon Sugar Pecans- delicious light pecan crunch packing a cinnamon punch. My cousin and I devoured this treat in minutes. I should have bought at least 2 bags. 2. Goodson Dark Chocolate Covered Pecans - again with the light pecan crunch. I love dark chocolate - this chocolate was not bitter or too sweet. I really enjoyed these. I wish that I had bought many bags. 3. Spottes Trotter's Spanish Salchichon - I rarely eat salami so this was a risky choice for me. It was surprisingly flavorful and not salty. Again, I opened these to share with family just in case I couldn't eat them - they were devoured. I know that they were bought with the idea of cheese pairing but I put mine in the midst of a cream cheese bagel and loved it. My only regret is probably not buying more. 4. Beehive Cheese Barely Buzzed - This cheese is rubbed with expresso and lavender. I was intrigued. It was recommended for coffee lovers and pairing with berries. Who can resist trying an award winning cheese? At my first coffee opportunity, I sampled a few slices. Delicious. Reminds me of aged cheddar with a subtle flavor...I don't know it came across as basil. Lol. I can't wait to try it with fresh berries. The final selections haven't been tried as of this writing: 5. Thomasville Tomme Raw Cows Milk Cheese. 6. Kenny's Farmhouse Gouda I've always enjoy a good raw milk cheese and a good gouda. I'm looking forward to making something delicious with them. Thus far, my only regret is buying only 1 of each of my choices. I do hope to visit again post covid to enjoy a full in person experience at a tasting/hosted event.

A real delight to work with her -- and with a name like Cheese & Mary, you have to appreciate her wit and humor. My first time trying a charcuterie here was getting in on a Valentine's special that we enjoyed as part of our anniversary celebration. It was artfully arranged and contained a mixture of sweet, savory, and hearty bites. Some of the things on the plate, I thought, this is an odd pairing, but when I ate it together, it was really good! She knows what she's doing. I'm a little sad the shop is going to close because it's really charming, but I'm okay with it since she's going to be running a virtual store and taking orders still.

So happy that I did! When I walked in, the staff were super friendly and all smiles. The cashier/barista was such a sweetheart! They have a cheese market, deli, bakery bar, and coffee shop all in one! They sell all kinds of charcuterie items, from salami, cheese, jam, jellies, to coffee, candy, wine, and chocolates. They also sell cutting boards and other little trinkets. I absolutely loved that they sell "charcuterie for one" that has cheese, meats, and olives for a single serving on the go too! We saw that they had a lunch box special for sandwiches that includes a sandwich, cookie, pickle spear, and bag of chips for $12. What a steal!!! We decided to get the Jammin' Pig sandwich which is a panini pressed sandwich with ham, brie cheese, and cherry jalapeño jam. The lunch box was a great size and included Lay's regular potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie! They also sell other cookies and baked goodies (brownies, cakes, etc.) at the bakery bar area. The sandwich was probably the best sandwich I ever had in my life. Holy cow! The sandwich was pressed and grilled perfectly with nice grill marks and the meat and cheese was fresh! The brie and the cherry jalapeño jam melted together so nicely and added a creamy and flavorful element to the sandwich. The ham provided the saltiness that helped cut a little bit of the sweetness from the jam. The jam wasn't spicy at all. It was a beautifully balanced sandwich. My husband thought I was exaggerating (because I'm not picky with anything haha), but as soon as he took a bite, his expression was speechless. He loved the sandwich so much, that we decided to come back the very next day and ordered the same sandwich and tried another one. If you want to take another step, take a bite of the sandwich and then a bite of the pickle for that hint of acidity. It causes a umami effect with all the flavors dancing on your palette! For the lunch box special, you either get a chocolate chip cookie or the white chocolate cranberry one (I believe they alternate cookie flavors based on their inventory), but both cookies were delicious. The texture is not like other cookies as it's more like an oatmeal texture kind of deal. A little bit crumbly, but nonetheless, both flavors were very good and tasty. My husband ordered the Kickin' Horse sandwich the day after and he actually liked it better than the Jammin' Pig. His sandwich consisted of ciabatta bread, roast beef, muenster cheese, horseradish sauce, and onion, panini pressed style. I had a bite of his sandwich and all the flavors worked so well. The horseradish sauce brings out the roast beef flavor and enhances the muenster cheese. We tried some iced latte specials as well. We had the "Hippie Chick" that is a lavender honey flavored latte and the "Sweater Weather" which is a cinnamon and caramel? flavored latte. We absolutely loved the Hippie Chick latte and ordered another one when we came back, but the "Sweater Weather" wasn't our favorite. Respectfully, it tasted like a fall candle. It was good, but not the best we've had. Overall, we will definitely come back when we're in the area. The price was worth it for the amount of food that you get! Trust me when I say to get the sandwiches! You will not be disappointed!!! Now I'm craving their Jammin' Pig sandwich....
