Found this location few blocks down and realized it was the one when I use to visit back in 2019. Great memories in that area. Came here to grab my toddler a snack. The baristas were talking privately and didn't greet me so I had to say excuse me and ask if they had what we came in for, she informed me it was out of stock. It was a hot day out so on my way out I asked for iced water, or if they could fill up my water bottle. They said they don't provide water without a purchase. I informed them I tried to buy something. I'm at a lost that they would refuse to giving a little ice water or refill a water bottle especially as my child was thirsty. It's one thing to make this policy from a huge chain. They could provide a water spout for people to access if it's causing a loss of time or money for the cups. Can anyone confirm this is a policy even? Secondly, the barista could use their own judgement and provide water for a three year old. I know there are probably more appealing fancier coffee shops in BH but the staff here and there kindness as well as quickness to deliver orders keeps me coming back. This Starbucks is on South Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Have been here at least a dozen times and all those times, my experience was pleasant: staff are nice, helpful and genuinely friendly. In the past at other locations, specifically DTLA, my experiences were horrible with unprofessional, rude and just bad service, that I boycotted Starbucks for a long stretch of time and would rather seek other coffee houses because of all the negativity. Starbucks corporate did reach out to me offering a redo and an apology, but that wasn't acceptable to me. Subsequently, there was negative media coverage with Starbucks staff displaying the same bad treatment, similar to what I experienced. Shortly thereafter, Starbucks corporate conducted a mandatory employee retraining and was close for a day or two. Despite that training, I still avoided SB especially in DTLA. Here at this Starbucks in Beverly Hills, all the staff have been professional and helpful with a pleasant attitude towards me and Fendi. Love the new iced drinks: strawberry and dragonfruit. And Im warming up to the pumpkin lattes... The point is, that not all Starbucks locations are alike with respect to staffing, but I sure hope the sensitivity training IS consistent at ALL Starbucks locations. If I can give an experience a negative star I would. It takes a lot to get me to write a bad review but I just had to say something. I ordered a grande crème brûlée. When I went to pick it up i noticed that it was a bit light. When I took the top off I noticed that it was no where near the top of the cup so I spoke to a barista and pointed it out. Up to this point everything was good. The barista looked and agreed that it was way too low. So she said she'd take care of it for me. The workers here work so slow. They have 5 people on the floor but only 2 people making drinks at the slowest pace possible. And when someone jumps on bar, they make it too fast where you can see they don't put effort into pumping the syrups. I came here two days in a row and had such friendly service! There isn't a whole lot of seating but when I was in there it seemed people usually take their food and drink to go so you'd probably be able to get a spot. I tried the new Blonde Espresso after the barista had offered it for my latte and I really like it. The biggest difference I noticed was the color of my drink but it tasted good and not too different so I think it's something anyone could try once. I honestly love this location. I just moved nearby and it's within walking distance of my house which makes it such a good location for me. I will say that the parking situation is not optimal. Some 2hr parking on side streets but it's hard to find a spot there. This location, however, is very clean and has so much seating. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and really puts the customer first. They took their time with me and my friends helping us decide what to order. It's a generally quiet location too. At some Starbucks locations you have to worry about homeless people lingering and people being very loud. I have never once witnessed anything of the sort at this location. Better than all the locations I've been to in Malibu put together! I can't wait to become a regular at this location. read more

This Starbucks is in a prime location, and it has a good amount of seating when it isn't packed. It's usually pretty quiet, giving you a good ambience if you're going there to relax or do some work. It's a pretty large space and it's always super clean, so that's a plus! The service is great. Everyone always has a smile on their face and my drink never takes too long. They're super efficient and super welcoming. The only miss was that on a couple occasions, they didn't have cold brew, which is all I drink. But they were able to give me a perfect alternative that left me just as satisfied! The other problem is obviously parking, but where in Los Angeles is there not a problem with parking. "The Beverly Hills Hobo vs. The Italian Producer Wannabe" Everyone who knows me knows that I am a dichotomy. I will equally like and dislike something at the same time. That's exactly how I feel about Beverly Hills, driving to Beverly Hills, being in Beverly Hills, and anything else in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, the coffee really is terrible here. It's weird because every store is standardized. At least it's a good store for hanging out and has one of the few "public" bathrooms that doesn't require a key/token. Baristas are really nice and even told me that Project Runway star Heidi Klum and husband Seal go there every Saturday morning. But, let's be honest, I'm there for the people watching (and only end up reading 1 section of the Sunday paper). I actually get one of the 3 outside tables and sit facing Beverly Drive. Some interesting things I saw: a mom forcing her kid to push the doggie stroller even though the kid was barely old enough be out of a stroller, a woman wearing the tightest light brown leather pants I have ever seen, a tranny in EMO get-up with elbow length leather gloves, and about 5 Ferrari/Lamborghini type (???) cars speed by. However, nothing compares to The Beverly Hills Hobo vs. The Italian Producer Wannabe. BH Hobo walks up to us at the Starbucks table and starts working the Italian Producer Wannabe. At first, I couldn't tell if he was a hobo at all because he didn't look like the DTLA Hobies. He had on a pair of beautfully pressed dark jeans, a clean collared shirt, and a thick jacket. Not to mention that it all fit perfectly and smelled clean. To complement his BH Hobo look, he was even begging for money with his Ed Hardy hat. Italian Producer Wannabe just gave him the most snide look and kept shooing him away like a mosquito. And there's this one particular gay cashier dude who has some serious attitude problem(if you go there enough, you would know who he is, my coworker said the same thing too), but other than him, their staff are usually pleasant as much as they could with the crazy busy customers rushing in the store in the morning. I am an Urth girl, so the drinks aren't really my cup of tea (see what I did there?? hahaha) but I do love their caramel spiced apple cider.
