This Starbucks is in a great little complex. If you luck out there's 30 minute parking right outside. What separates this from other Starbucks is the plentiful seating. That being said it's also why I didn't give it 5 stars, it's pretty messy in here. There's a lot of garbage left over and there are SO many seats it looks a bit like a messy school cafeteria, or the social zone in an insane asylum. There's a woman in here wearing this eye gear I guess to help her see her computer screen, it looks like two telescopes on her face. So that's a plus. There's "bar" seating right in front of where they serve your beverage; this is great if you're so impatient you can't wait a single second more, or if you like to stare down the employees as they make your mocha to assure your dominance over the situation. read more

I've been going to this Starbucks for years now, and I can safely say that it is my favorite of all Starbucks coffee shops that I have been to. The staff has always been good to me, and it is unfortunate that the turnover rate seems to be high among many of them. My drinks have always been good here and the place is frequently cleaned, as I have seen happen in many visits. Amateur bands sometimes perform here, too! Parking can be a challenge, but I can always find something, even if I have to walk across the other side of the Empire Center. I have even bumped into people I know here! This may not be in my top 5, but I'd still say that this location is popular enough for you to run into someone you know. I say give this Starbucks a try. This is a good Starbucks. Right in the Empire Center so you can get some good coffee and then go shopping for whatever you need, of course there are only like 5 stores there but still... Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks.... Though the drink menu is the same as other Starbucks coffeehouses but this particular one is large square-footage wise and comfortable. You'll have the same cast of characters sitting there every day of the week with their smartphones and laptops which reminds me of living in the college dorms. The baristas are a crap-shoot: they're all funny and quirky in their own way. Recently this place was remodeled which made it more pleasant with more small tables and chairs plus one big communal table with seats. Counter seating is also available now. I love this location, BUT tonight, one of the young women working refused to lift the chairs as she swept. This may sound like a first world problem, but my ears are actually hurting after 30 minutes of chairs being scraped around the floor. The acoustics are wonderful in here, unfortunately for everyone's ears. I hope she was dragging every single chair because they were genuinely heavy for her and not because she hates her job. This location is next to the 24 hour fitness I frequent and not too far from Costco. Its a nice place to hit right after the gym or to meet friends. The have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The Wells Fargo ATM is just outside which is nice if you want cash. The baristas are very friendly and patient. I know other people have complained about the parking but there is a huge lot around the area. You may not get rock star parking that opens onto their door but there is plenty of easily accessible parking to the left and right of the coffee shop. We could all use a little walk (less than a block). read more

I love Starbucks! This one is nice because when ever I'm doing some shopping in the empire center I can stop by and pick up my vanilla bean to drink while shopping! Probably cause I go there like 2-3 times a week, but I just love the employees there, especially one older man (whom I can't remember his name), who is always funny and brightens up anyone's mood with his hyperness! My gf and I stopped in to have a Starbucks doubleshot, first they take at least 10 minutes to come out. From a baristas standpoint(I use to be one) are easy drinks to make. It Should have not taken that long. We get our drinks, only to find out that it's missing what my gf asked for. We go on and taste them, it tastes terrible. But, the barista kindly remade it into an iced vanilla latte as my gf asked. Which, honestly tasted even worse. We then stood in for like 8 minutes to get a refund. It's busy everytime I come, but everyone is always cheery and efficient. They're quick to give recommendations if you need, and stay out of your way if you are a Java fiend. There's always a group of people working on some project or another, the larger tables here make it really conducive for getting friends together. Every Starbucks is more or less the same, but this one feels more like a neighborhood place if you need your wifi fix. :) Shout out to Diva for being such a sweetie! read more

The updated decor and finishes has made this a warming and inviting cafe. There is additional comfy seating, a community table, seats at the bar and as well as pleasant outdoor seating. I am typically here around 6 am during the week and around 7 or 8 am on weekends so I don't see a parking problem as others mention and instead am greeted, promptly served and made to feel welcome by a well trained staff of baristas, I cannot ask for more in a Starbucks. read more

Asked for a regular brewed Pike coffee. Got a cooled up coffee instead. Took it back to the barista, he said that's all the had, and if I wanted hot coffee, I would have to wait until they brewed a new pot. I agreed and waited for 5 minutes. This time I got a cup of coffee that was the same temperature and very very bitter. You need to check up your machines because the brewing temperature for coffee has to be 202 F degrees. The coffee you served me was about 140. Shame. Disappointed. read more

The drinks are typical Starbucks, but unlike any other Starbucks I've been to, they haven't buggered my drink up yet (knock on wood). I visit this place frequently and the staff is top notch Everytime I'm here. there are just a few issues with this place. the parking can be a pain during busy times of the year and secondly the chairs make a horrendous sounds when they are moved along the floor. It could probably be resolved by applying plastic pads to the legs. read more

Was there in the late morning hours, a little hard to get to because of the construction surrounding this store. Good customer service, friendly employees paying attention to detail behind the counter. I did notice a lot of dirty tables, had to get napkins to clean a section of the larger table that comes across, then did the same as I moved to another table to be near a window that was filled with crumbs. The service is pretty good they get my order right , they forget to check for mobile orders often , but the real issue is the place is disgusting . They recently changed to coed bathrooms and now when you walk in there's muddy water all over the floor and the new hand dryers make the water go everywhere. It's their biggest downfall and I hate a dirty bathroom. read more
