Popped in this Starbucks to grab a drink and spend some time with the nibbling. She got a cake pop and we shared an venti iced peach green tea lemonade. We also got a refill of the drink before we left. The inside isn't very big. Seating for about 15-20 people. Most of the seating is small tables that you can only sit in on one side of. There was a lot of ppl working. Took a few minutes for our drink to be made but overall great service. I am a long time loyal Starbucks customer & this location just doesnt get it or do it!! The lady who responds to the drive through orders is always mad & sounds irritated when getting your order. They are usually very slow. some staff are friendly but most look mad & very short with customers. (This is based on multiple observations through the years). Inventory control issue meets incompetence (albeit friendly incompetence). Ordered two b-fast sandwiches a tea and a coffee. One of the sandwiches was the wrong type. That's when they told us they were out of the one we ordered (what?? just hand off a random sandwich??). Always out of something, though at least they are not blaming the blizzard of '19 or the pandemic any more! Aside. The electronic menu showed the sandwich they were out of, they can update it but don't know how. Lastly, they admitted they never even made the tea. I liked my experience at this Starbucks where I supped down a double espresso (in a paper cup??) and did some Internet surfing while people watching. Good seating inside with some smaller tables, comfortable chairs and a large "community" table. I found the crew to be a little loud with their chatting. This review is not based off of one experience only. I've been here several times and I always get a matcha latte with no ice. Every other Starbucks at LEAST puts in the effort to stir it up a little bit. Some even shake it with ice.. which I'm pretty sure is how it's done. We went today and it looked ridiculous. Matcha all over the side of the cup. They literally just dumped it in and poured the soy milk in, and then handed it to us. I took it home to put in my cocktail shaker and the matcha was clumped to the side of the cup so much so, that some of the powder was still DRY when I tried to get it off. I'm paying $6 for a drink that no one put any effort into making. Do better. read more

We're actually still sitting in Starbucks as I'm typing this because I'm so impressed! My son loves their strawberry smoothies and that's usually what he orders. They called us over after our order to inform us that they are out of bananas. He still wanted the smoothie so they made it. It turns out, he didn't like it without the banana and we asked them for an iced tea instead. They got a bit busy and we got lost in the shuffle somewhere. After waiting awhile I decided to just place an order for the tea through their app. When they called our name and I picked it up Ahmad recognized me and tried to issue a refund and apologized profusely. I told him it wasn't an issue, we come here often and not to worry about. A few minutes later he handed me a gift card for the smoothie. THAT is how customer service is done! read more

Great Sbux location! However, the drive thru can be wrapped around the parking lot depending on the time of day that you visit. The team is great though! They are always friendly, my drink tastes great and most Importantly they ring up my order correctly. This is a pretty high volume location so theres a good Chance that they may be out of items such as specific protein boxes and sandwiches. All in all, one of my Favorite Sbux locations to frequent. read more

I've never had a bad experience at Starbucks until today. I ordered a chai tea and instead of telling me they were out, they made me a chai tea latte. I then go back to get my tea which is when they tell me they are out of the tea bags. So they give a $4 gift card for a new drink. Issue is, they charged me $4.54 for the latte I didn't want. So now I have no drink and am out money. read more

This location has improved significantly! Whoever hired the current staff really hit it out of the park. The drive thru line is not only efficient but the folks helping actually have a personality, are kind and upbeat and actually smile and seem happy. I'm a time when we just don't go out as often as we used to, it's these little things that are so refreshing. I went through the drive-thru about 7am. I asked for my usual drink, Starbucks Double Shot on Ice with coconut milk. It's on the menu but my usual Starbucks back home tell me it's not something often ordered. My sister in law ordered a Caramel Macchiato. Since we were in a rush to get donuts and other things, we drove off. I didn't try my drink until half way home and found out it tasted funny. Either they used a blonde roast for the coffee or something else was wrong with it. It didn't have the bold taste like my usual drink did and I'd assume that my drink wouldn't taste different in a different state. I ordered a Venti and barely drank half of it before I tossed it down the sink. Not too long after did the drink make me feel sick. Since that experience, I decided to avoid that particular location during our vacation. read more

Tiny shop inside with horrible seating - you are either by a door, or by a door. There a 2 tables in a corner, but nothing major. The coffee at starbucks is not that good, and this place isn't that different. It's over roasted beans that always seem to have a bitter aftertaste. The lollipop cakes are very tasty though, my kid loves them. The WiFi is excellent, strong steady connection, with good signal strength though. Danielle and I normally have a mobile order here that we place about 15 minutes before we arrive to pick up. This morning as we arrived we found multiple people waiting who seemed frustrated that they had been waiting for so long... this didn't bother me until we had to correct the barista as to what sandwiches were on our order. Isn't that on your screen? The turning point is when the barista (wearing a pink sweater)making our drinks gave us an attitude after she had called our order when our drinks had not been completed yet, mind you our sandwiches were cold by now, and she had not finished making Danielle's drink. Danielle asked where her drink was, as normally when we're called up for our order, our order had been completed.... this barista replied in a frustrated manor "its right here" pointing at an empty cup with some milk in it... she then continued to complete Danielle's drink while we were standing there.... so we turned around and sat back down.. while we sat down she told us that the drink would be ready soon.... almost like she didn't like that we decided we should sit back down. Btw, her drink didn't taste like it had three shots of espresso. Charles, this isn't the service I'm used to from your store. I think you're great, but your employees should NEVER have an attitude with paying customers. My one and only bad experience with Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks location is by far my favorite! Everyone from Charles the manager to Claudia, Jackie and Cody are warm and welcoming! No matter how my day is going or how long I have to wait in line sometimes at this location, as it is very popular, the Barista's always make it worth it. I've come to this starbucks too many times to count, via the drive-thru or in store, but I think I'm going to drive the extra mile to visit the other starbucks in Stone Crest moving forward. I'm well aware this is the complete definition of a first world problem. I'll start with the good. 1. Drive-thru 2. close to the corporate park 3. sometimes nice employees Cons: 1. The parking lot is terrifying and the drive-thru is always slammed 2. sometimes the staff can be rude 3. always busy and clearly not enough staff 4. coffee is so-so, sometimes it's good and sometimes it is nothing like it is supposed to taste 5. really really slow and have forgotten to make a drink on mutiple times. I don't want to hate on the staff, it's not just their issue, overall, this place is a headache and not worth the wait. Next time, I'll just keep driving. read more

This afternoon, I was in Starbucks getting an Iced Americano. A vendor showed up while I was adding my creamer. The 2nd guy with a dolly was stacked high and a box fell off the top. His hands were full so I picked up the box and started putting the 4 boxes of syrup back inside the box. Sadly, a massive cockroach came running out of the box. I was pretty disgusted. I stepped on the roach, threw the box on top of his dolly and left. I was fairly disgusted. Their food vendors should do a better job of keeping pest away from the food being served. Why do I continue to come here??? 9 visible employees with a drive through line out into the street and the inside line not much better. All around are sad faces anxiously waiting for orders that may never come. Not even a 'good morning' nor a smiling face at the register. It was appropriate for what was to come. After paying, customer after customer kept asking the barista where their order was. Incompetence and inefficiency are in full-swing at this location. After further disgust with the lack of ANY URGENCY, I brought the situation up to the person claimed to be the manager. There was a weak apology: 'I understand' and an excuse that an 8 drink order had come in. It is common for drink orders to come in, staff should be prepared to serve drinks. Further, the staff should be NICE AND FRIENDLY. An apology for your excessive wait goes a long way. Using the first name you gave at checkout to announce the coffee order was even skipped - a final signoff for this crappy location. I almost missed this non-update: the iced coffee continues to be very bitter, not in a good way. read more

I've been here countless times (well, no, you could count) because it's right near my job. There is always a line because the plaza is poorly designed with minimal parking; the line of cars often spills over into the flow of traffic. That's not SBUX's fault though. The staff is great--especially CLAUDIA. They're really courteous and always get my drink order correct. They've had some turnover in recent months, but at least the hiring manager consistently hires good people. read more

Great coffee, but slow drive through experience. When I got to the window, it just took forever for them to hand the drinks to me. I tried the caramel brûlée with low fat everything and half the pumps of the syrup. It was good and rather guilt free. This might be my favorite hot drink, but it's here only for the holiday season. /Today the drive thru was closed bec they were reloading supplies in mid afternoon. This was an inconvenience. First world problem, but still a pain. Service here is just not as good as other Starbucks./ Speaker system seems not as good as other stores. They had a hard time hearing my order and even when I got to the window, still had to clarify. read more

Typical Starbucks that is visible from Ballantyne Commons Parkway however it is a little tricky to get to, which somewhat negates the convenience of the drive-thru. Yes, I am aware of the irony of including that statement, since this review indicates that I go to this Starbucks as well, but at least I don't block the entire traffic circle when then line gets long. You can park and go inside, people. I order the same thing maybe 80% of the time a shaken espresso with extra milk. when I got my drink today, I told the cashier it was supposed to have extra almond milk. she goes back towards one of the guys making the drinks and says "it was supposed to have extra almond milk" almost mockingly. In turn, he says "it did have extra almond milk." she comes back with a cup with almond milk in it and says "just so you know, my manager says next time we'll have to charge you for a latte." I told her "this is how I get my drink every time and have never had issues with it in the past." she says "well because it's milk and being filled to the top." I always get my drink this way, and yes understandably, have been charged for extra milk. That's no problem for me. But for this manager to say they're going to charge me for a latte on top of my $8 coffee is absurd. I'm not sure if they got new management or what but that was rude for them to feel like all of a sudden this needs to be changed. Also, if employees are going to mock the customers, the might not want to do it within an earshot of said customer. Unacceptable. read more
