One of my favorite Starbucks locations. I usually stop by at least 3-4 times a week in the mornings between 5:30 - 7:00 AM. They have an excellent team here, Tonya who works the drive thru is always a bright spot in my day. This is one of the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. There's always a long line inside and in the drive thru. Employees are in no hurry at all. Half the time my order is wrong. This location really gives Starbucks a bad name. read more

I order the same thing maybe 80% of the time a shaken espresso with extra milk. when I got my drink today, I told the cashier it was supposed to have extra almond milk. she goes back towards one of the guys making the drinks and says "it was supposed to have extra almond milk" almost mockingly. In turn, he says "it did have extra almond milk." she comes back with a cup with almond milk in it and says "just so you know, my manager says next time we'll have to charge you for a latte." I told her "this is how I get my drink every time and have never had issues with it in the past." she says "well because it's milk and being filled to the top." I always get my drink this way, and yes understandably, have been charged for extra milk. That's no problem for me. But for this manager to say they're going to charge me for a latte on top of my $8 coffee is absurd. I'm not sure if they got new management or what but that was rude for them to feel like all of a sudden this needs to be changed. Also, if employees are going to mock the customers, the might not want to do it within an earshot of said customer. Unacceptable. read more

I'm so sad and disappointed Disappointed because I was 10 minutes shy of making the 2pm share event & they wouldn't let me use it when previously they have. I try to go during those times but yes couple times I was early but only by minutes. And they provided superb customer service so I expected the same. Nope. Not today ... Sad because after I waited, yes I waited , the drink they made was horrible. I didn't even return it because I just don't return food & don't trust the remake, so I went home & had to fix it. Been here a few times and each unimpressive! Drinks are nothing to brag about. Most memorable is when I asked for a red eye and the girl behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about. Extremely confused! I proceeded to explain, more than once, that it was a coffee with a shot of espresso..... She FINALLY seemed like she understood but I get my drink and its a shot of espresso. I told the guy on the drink pick up side and seemed unbothered by my delimma and said he'd just add coffee to it. read more

Horrible. Waited over 15 minutes for breakfast sandwich only to have another customer take mine, which obviously can't be controlled by the staff, but when I told them the mix up they were extremely rude and said that person came before me.. this wasn't true at all since she was behind me in line. I approached another staff member about the issue since after 5 more minutes my name wasn't called and she was very rude as well, I finally got my sandwich 20 mins after ordering and it was FROZEN! First off, if you're going here in the morning you're probably better off walking over then trying to drive. The drive-thru line will wrap around the back and through the traffic circle blocking traffic to the rest of the businesses. The people here are pretty nice but I've had my order messed up twice this week so far. It also takes quite awhile to get your order, I just got a shaken green tea today and two people in front of me, it still took 10 minutes to get the initial drink and another 5-7 to get it remade. I'm giving them 3 stars because I usually have decent but not great service, this week is definitely in the 1-2 range. This is the worst Starbucks I've ever visited. The staff is moody and kinda weird. It has been through many management changes but the quality of the staff has gone down. If someone could tell me why if I pay $6.50 for a coffee that somehow THEY are doing ME a favor because that is exactly how they treat their customers. They have no sense of sanitary practices either: Barristas, you have to WASH your hands after utilizing the bathroom. Additionally, everytime I get a pastry from this location, it tasts old and is dry. With the proliferation of Starbucks everywhere you can throw a rock, skip this one unless you need to study. This Starbucks can't handle both drive tru and walk in. It takes always about 20 mins to get your coffee in or out of the place. They should close the drive tru especially considering the spill over is in the round about which is really not safe. The staff is really nice, and the coffee is good. It's just too small. read more

Great service! Went through the drive-through on Monday morning and when I got to the window I realized they had made my coffee wrong. The woman who took care of me was apologetic, made sure my coffee was made properly, and gave it to me on the house. Mistakes happen and I hugely appreciate great customer service. read more

This particular SB is the weakest in the area. The space is small and during winter it is freezing as every time someone enters they bring the outside climate in with them. Ignored the first piece, but kept getting more as I continued to drink my frapp, eventually tossing the rest in the trash. Today was just one of the many poor experiences at this location. In the 20+ times we've visited this store more than 50% have resulted in an incorrect order of some kind. Even when our orders are correct they take far longer than should be acceptable. The store seems very poorly run, and highly disorganized. Unfortunately, it's convenient location makes it a regular stop for us. It's sad that the Target and Harris Teeter locations provide superior service. read more

I would love for this location to be more consistent but my order is only correct half of the time. The drive thru line is quick, typically. Even with 6+ cars. Strangest drive-thru situation I've ever seen.. But I just can't bring myself to drive thru for a Starbucks coffee anyway! I frequently meet clients here for coffee. It's quiet and sunny, and plenty of plug-in areas for laptops. Everything you expect from a Starbucks experience. This store is one of the smaller Starbucks stores in the area, but that's just fine with me! The baristas are friendly, the coffee and tea are on target, and the clientele is mostly made up of fellow professionals (and students, I'll guess) like me. So not too many mommy meet-ups with strollers and little ones in the middle of the work day (definitely don't intend to offend mommies out there, I'm one too! My husband and I are avid Statbucks drinkers so when he had a meeting with a client and I had to kill 45 minutes or so with our twins, I googled the closest location. Was the drive thru line horrendous? Yes, but we are used to that and it is common for locations in busy areas. Was the parking lot packed? Yes. But, the staff was amazing.
