I stopped in today for a cold drink after a long, hot ride on my Harley. It wasn't my first choice due to political differences between myself and the liberal Starbucks ideology. That aside, it was a great decision. Steven, the manager and Kaitlin the barista my my experience so good that I forgot about my political beef. They were both very friendly and funny. They even played along with my girlfriend and I as we gave ridiculous drink descriptions and names for our order. It was fun and came at a good time. Additionally, I asked for something good that was sugar free, besides the SFV Lattes that I normally order. I told them to surprise me. They surprised me with a Passion tango tea with no cane sugar add sugar free vanilla. It was great! Now we have two new friends and I have a new go to drink. Thank you Steven and Kaitlin. Your mobile order gets stolen by someone else half of the time and none of the staff even ask anyone who's been standing around waiting for their mobile orders if they're still waiting on drinks that likely got stolen by some other idiot. They're too busy talking about their Instagram posts. Meanwhile the line of people waiting on Mobile orders keeps growing. Several peoples orders got lost. One dude had been waiting over 20 min to get the second half of his order and I had been politely waiting 25 for one damn Grande latte. Thinking maybe they just haven't gotten to making it yet. Best Starbucks in the world. I had ten minutes to go in grab breakfast and a coffee and go! I ordered quick and made quick banter with the cashier and then my card declined...three times... (weird fraud protection thing on my account). I said I was so sorry and went to leave and he said he would still make my order and happy holidays. I actually reared up a little and thanked him profusely. They were quick and everything was made perfect. Typical starbucks. It was pretty crowded but they got through all the customers pretty quickly. It's really small so they don't have very many tables (just 3 high top 2 person tables and 1 low 4 person table). What I didn't like was that all the tables were dirty. I guess it's more important to get the customers orders filled than keep the tables clean but it. There is some out door seating, but there are only 4 two person tables. So if you want to use Starbucks for what it was branded to be (a chill sit down and relax kinda place) this is NOT the one to go to. But if you want to be In and out then this one is for you. But this one in particular isn't one of the best. Outdoor seating isn't so great, it is small, and parking here kinda sucks, since it is in a crowded strip mall. So to sum it up, if you are running in to grab something and heading straight back to the car, this one is fine, especially if someone is waiting in the car and doesn't have to park. I have been going here almost every day for the past week on my way to visit relatives at West Hills Hospital. It is nice that the workers think of the little things. They warm up my pastries without asking. And today, after coming so often, they even asked about my family and remembered that I would ask for an extra empty cup (for half & half). They gave me a cup full of half and half without me even asking! It's the little things that I can appreciate it. Made my early morning coffee run smooth and helped me start my day on the right note. After reading the other reviews I am surprised people expect so much from a Starbucks. I am also surprised people rate a Starbucks lower because people wear pajamas in the middle of the day. Anyways, I go to this Starbucks on and off as it is about 2 blocks from my work. The baristas are always nice. My dopio almost always comes up quickly. Sometimes they get backlogged. It is not uncommon to show up at 7:15 and have 15 -20 people in line and a table full of policmen sitting down. All in all, a decent Starbucks. She looked at me once, twice and third time she asked me to move because I was in the way. As if I was blocking the counter! I thought it was rude. Eh... it's a Starbucks... what is there really to say... I like this one because I can do "the drive" on Valley Circle and come out the back way directly into the parking lot. I usually find a place to park quickly... since the parking lot is pretty big...and it's never super crowded... or people are always going and leaving quickly. It's a great place to meet a friend for coffee...since it's a stone's throw from her apartment... and since she needed to talk about her "guy issues". Interesting. I totally agree with her though. I'd never date a guy who was hung up on someone else. Who in their right mind would? Usually, she's the one telling me that you can fall in love again... I'm usually the "hang on - try to work it out" type person... but in this instance maybe not. I usually just listen, formulate my own opinions and work off them.. I'm terrible at giving advice. As far as Starbucks stores go, this is one of the best; mainly due to the excellent staff. They recently remodeled the store, it's nice, but they took away the comfy leather chairs and replaced them with metal stools with no backs. The good news is the guy with the bicycle helmet that always hogged the chairs doesn't anymore. He was nice mind you, but he spent half the day there. My biggest complaint with the Starbucks corporation is that they don't understand or cater to tea drinkers. I think this starbucks is great.. Everyone is attentive and polite and I'm always in and out fast.. Ive also appreciated that they make my drink right everytime... I even notice when the barista listens to my order at the register and starts making my drink before i even pay... The establishment itself may be small but they do have a nice patio on the street. However walking into this location, I've waited over 10mins for my order when placed with the mobile app. Customer Service is not the best & interaction is limited to or maybe to None. There always only seems to be One barista working with Urgency. On One occasion they took over 10 mins to fulfill my order & then had me pick up my breakfast on the other side BUT that was after I had to ask. On a second occasion I walk in thinking my order would be ready for pickup.??? after 10 mins I had to ask & I was told "oh it's on the other side with your bagel"?? Sorry but that is why there is a specific designated area for "Mobile pickup". A customer shouldn't have to ask then find out it had been sitting on the other side ready for pickup. First time and last time. I walked in to buy a gift card at 5am. There is no one in the store except 3 employees, all who are stocking on the floor. I wasn't greeted when I walked in. I go to the gift card section, browse for 60 seconds with one employee 3 feet away from me. No eye contact. No interaction. I walk to the register and there's another employee, 2 feet away from me, behind the register, stocking as well. No eye contact. No hello. No how can I help you. No interaction at all! I stand there and count to 10. I finally say 'hello' and the guy , who's behind the counter without looking up and continuing to stock says "we'll be right with you". I'm still the only one on the store. The guy who was by the gift cards , walks around the register and says "what would you like". I pay and leave.
