Nice location on Elk Grove, a main road. Easy to find. Good access into the shopping area. Plenty of parking lot around this corner shop. Been here a few times now and the food has been available and quickly served. Staff is friendly. Today is my usual green iced tea in a personal cup. Picked up a sausage, cheddar, and egg sandwich as well. Seating inside has a community table, four cozy seats, and six smaller tables with chairs. Seating outside has about a dozen tables and chairs. Went through the drive thru to order my blossom Mint tea and one plain Croissant. I love this tea and it really helped my stomach settle and the croissant was warm and delicious. It did take a very very long time to order and to get my items. It really was annoying but I continued with patience. Once I got to the pick up window, it was pretty fast. Literally the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. After 15+ minutes of waiting, one of the baristas was like "do you still want your cold brew or just an iced coffee?" Umm, I paid for a cold brew so that's what I'm waiting for LOL. And then when I said I'd just do an iced at that point, they take even longer to make me the cold brew. This store is one of the best Starbucks in Elk Grove. The employees are friendly and efficient and they have the new drip coffee machine which makes each cup of coffee fresh and piping hot. I noticed when I was waiting for my order this morning, several people that come in to pick up their order either stand right next to the counter or lean on it, breathing over everyone's order. I would suggest a line on the floor or a sign asking people to stand back away from the counter while waiting for their order. Also, please say thank you to our baristas! read more

This starbucks has gone downhill... I have been coming here for YEARS since its the closest one to my house. It was always reliable, plain iced chai with oatmilk. You would think something so simple would be quick to make, hell, quick to even ORDER. But no, these employees will look at you waiting and go back to talk amongst theirselves. Horrible customer service. There were three individuals, I noticed one young man, Andrew, who only stepped to the cash register AFTER gossiping with coworkers. Like I said, crappy customer service. It pains me to even write this review, but I can no longer go to this location anymore. I'm not looking for immediate service, but sheesh at some point you have a line to the door. Pretty decent Starbucks, but my experience has varied with different employees. The service is normally fast & friendly! Most of the drinks I've gotten here are good, but I've had experiences with very melted/watery frappucinos (even though I ordered in store & picked up right away). The parking lot is a bit busy but there's always spots available. The interior is pretty clean, but I do find the music to be a bit loud if I was staying there for a while to study/hangout. read more

It's been a while since I've been to Starbucks, so I figured it was about time! I stopped by to get a drink that I've been seeing quite a bit on social media. It's the Iced Green Tea Latte with Strawberry Cold Foam on top. I got it in a Grande size for ~$5. The barista seemed to understand what I wanted so I was a bit disappointed when I received my drink. I even had a photo of the drink. The Iced Green Tea Latte part was fine but the Strawberry Cold Foam was barely there. You can see hints of if in the cup, but that was it. The drink tasted good and was perfectly sweet. However, I didn't get enough of the strawberry cold foam. You can barely tell that it's there. I was pretty bummed that after months of not going to Starbucks, I receive a half-correct drink. I might need to social distance myself from Starbucks for a little longer. read more

This is my go-to Starbucks location! The service is always very friendly here, and they make sure your drink is made right. Drinks are also made pretty quickly despite the Happy Hour rush. Social distancing is enforced by the signage/stickers on the floors. They have plenty of outdoor seating available. read more

I guess the workers here (specifically the cashier working this evening) didn't get the notice that they're supposed to be merry during the holidays, despite it being printed across their cups. She rudely commanded everyone to reform the direction of the line and spoke in an angry, short, and unfriendly tone to the customers as she took their orders. I don't need to be a mind reader to know she was clearly communicating "hurry up, spit out your order as fast as possible, and get out of here." What's hilarious is that I ordered a cinnamon dolce latte and she repeated it back to me, enunciating "dolce" back at me. I think she was trying to correct my pronunciation of the word, and yet she was the one incorrectly pronouncing it. I simply said "yes" and paid; I like to limit my interaction with unpleasant people as much as possible. To top it all off, they managed to get syrup (or some other sticky substance) all over the outside of the cups for both drinks I ordered. I think if you can't be "merry", at least learn to muster up a bit of politeness, especially when that should be a critical component of the job. read more

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Audrey and Janelle at Starbucks location #2955! I have been repeatedly trying to get ahold of Starbucks corporate to resolve an issue with a Defective cup I purchased. The paint from the design on the cup had started to deteriorate and paint was leaving ink on my hand from condensation. ( I didn't put it in the dishwasher. I hand wash all my cups) I approached Audrey and asked how to resolve the issue. She said I could just bring the old one in and she would let me pick out a new cup from the latest launch. I then returned with the cup a week later; Audrey wasn't there at the time. However, I spoke with Janelle and she went above and beyond to be sure my cup was replaced. I did get a new cup ( one without paint). I'm staying away from painted cups. I appreciate both ladies for taking care of my needs and going above and beyond to be sure the quality of the product is properly represented by the standards I expect from Starbucks. This place is in the same parking lot as Raley's. I'm around the area doing errands and it's nice to pop in for something warm or cold depending on the day!!! Most are all alike to me! Your basic seating arrangement. Your Starbucks fixing of retail sale items. The snack display and your order area. What I like about this one is the people!!! Still simply the best! What can I say? The people and service here are still top notch. They are friendly, talkative and make sure to get your order right. I had mobile ordered a drink with nonfat milk and was getting a little perturbed because I wasn't getting my whipped cream on top. Nonfat milk is for digestive issues, not dietary, and expressed my irritation. The girl clarified that it was how they are trained to not add whipped on a nonfat order. They told me to remedy it, I needed to simply put it down as an add on and they will see it and put the whipped cream on it. So you see? Not just giving you an excuse, but giving you the remedy as well! This is service unlike other places. That's what keeps me coming back. Not only convenient, but I will wait until I get home to go here. I am not sure why, but I have not been able to get a decent cappuccino from this location. I usually don't say anything and take my latte and go. Recently, I spoke up and asked to have it remade. It was remade and was still just as heavy. I let them know as discreetly as I could and indicated I needed to get to work so not to remake. The staff insisted but the barista took my cup poured some out and then poured in some frothy milk. They handed it back to me, and it was heavy, and tasted very little of the 4 shots. It is not a cheap drink, but 3 attempts with clear request for extra dry in an effort to at least get a dry cappuccino and no luck. This is the only Starbucks location that has not been able to get it right with multiple attempts. It is not an easy drink I admit it, but it is on the menu. Post-Renovation, the service and quality at this store has declined significantly. I have been ordering the same drink (Soy Caramel Macchiato) from this store for 5 years. Last 5 times, I have ended up with a cup full of Soy Milk. One of the baristas went as far as to try to tell me this is how it was supposed to be made. Today, I went to this store and one of the male baristas asked me if I had a mobile order and asked me my name. He looked at the orders he had, and said it wasn't ready. The app said it was ready 8 min ago. A min later, a female barista came and picked up the same 2 bags and drink that the guy had picked up, which was my order. And, again, the cup full of soy milk. Chad and Maile were very helpful the other day I visited. I think it was last Thursday. I requested for the COCOA COLD FOAM NITRO and their coworker said it was just a short promotion beverage being offered and the window decal should have been taken down. My drinks were perfectly made! Got a venti iced guava white tea and my usual 3x3 for my boyfriend. Service was kind of slow, they only had two baristas and one cashier but I don't blame them. This place would be good for studying since they remodeled and have more tables and chairs.. This Starbucks went thru a total makeover. I am absolutely living for the new look!!! They changed the register to the back of the store so the front area is for mobile pick up. Very smart! It is super cute, with luxury individual sofa seats and long wooden tables equipped with wireless charging station. Love it ! I get my usual salted foam cold brew with extra extra ice and Nat recommended me to bump it up into a venti cup so I get my money's worth with all the extra added ice. Thanks for that!! read more

Super nice staff.. great location.. I am hoping that the lack of cleanliness in this location was just a fluke. There was food crumbs & spilled drinks all over the floor. The garbage was overflowing. You couldn't put any more in the garbage can if you tried. It was 1:45 PM and not that busy. No excuse for not cleaning up the store. I stop in here from time to time since it's not the closest one to my house but it's not too out of the way if I'm getting my hair done or having a meeting. The remodel looks nice but it's confusing that you have to walk all the way into the store to go to the register and then walk back towards the door to pick up your drink, opposite from before. People got confused and just started lining up behind people waiting for drinks but I digress. The cashier today wasn't very friendly but she was effective so there was that. I accidentally ordered my drink wrong (because ordering coffee before you've had coffee is HARD, obvi.) and asked Karlee the barista to add some more milk to it mentioning that I usually have blond espresso but I forgot. She repeatedly offered to make my drink again even though I told her it was MY mistake. She was friendly and kind. I insisted that I didn't want to waste a drink because of my own mistake and she happily added milk to the drink she made me. She was reassuring and made absolutely sure I was happy before I left. I left with a smile on my face because of her so I figured I'd write this review to let people know. Overall, my drink was good, the wait time was low, it wasn't too crowded, I found parking very easily, and I will be back next time I'm in that area. read more
