If you've been reading the Yelp reviews for any period of time, you know I do like Starbucks. Especially when I'm out traveling on the road across country, it's nice to have a place that makes you feel at home. Home. It's always a comfortable feeling knowing that there are no surprises when I get there, and everything is where it should be. This Starbucks happened to be within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at so I had to go venture out to get my daily dose of caffeine. Located right on the corner of magnolia and Warner, this place has plenty of parking in the parking lot which makes it very nice for people cruising in and getting a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Eat. This particular location does not have a drive-thru, but that did not keep it from being pretty busy when I went in. I've said it once and I'll say it again... Probably multiple times the next year, a chain location is just that. A chain location. It's the people that work there that make it or break it. I will say this, this particular Starbucks. All the people behind the counter were super nice and friendly and made the experience much nicer than if I had just walked in, ordered from a digital kiosk and picked up my stuff and left. Human interaction is always nice, especially when those humans are pleasant and engaging. I had the double smoked bacon egg sandwich, and the brown sugar oatmeal iced latte. It was absolutely delicious, the double smoked bacon is one of my go-to sandwiches, and I would definitely get it again. Bottom line? If you are in the neighborhood and are looking for a good Starbucks to visit, sit for a while, this would be one. You should definitely put on your list. read more

This is the closest Starbucks to me, so I am glad the staff is friendly. I appreciate that they open until 9pm, since some locations close earlier. The ube coconut coffee is my favorite. I wish they brought back the coconut mocha from years ago, but the ube coconut is a good alternative. read more

She started to speak condescending I asked her to stop talking to me so I can get my order and leave. She proceeded to walk to the back to tell her manager I cursed at her which I didn't. I asked her to stop speaking to me so I can get to work. The manager was polite but took her side believing I cursed at her which NEVER happened. Okay I love starbiess & how easy it is to customize your drink. When I want something easy my go to is either an ice matcha latte or hot chai latte. But I usually customize my expresso drinks; try a ICED double expresso shot with a splash of half & half with pumpkin foam. Or if you want something like Vietnamese coffee; do a ICED double expresso shot with a splash of half & half with 2 pumps of white mocha. Thank me later!!! read more

Don't order any kind of matcha drink from Starbucks if you want it to taste like matcha. With any kind of modification, even more matcha powder, it tastes like plain milk. I tried to be patient with the new matcha company they've been using but no modifications make it actually taste like matcha. I had an event and I ordered a traveler for pickup. It was supposed to be ready by 7:30am the next morning. When I got there, they had not started making it. They told me to wait 5 minutes. It was not crowded. I had to ask again if it was ready and then they gave it to me 15 minutes late. The parking lot is a little small. There is some seating inside. Smaller, older location, a little cramped, nicely decorated, horrible cup display with older cups from past releases, no drive thru, barista was not very friendly, tables were already dirty first thing in the morning and the smell at this location was off putting. It didn't smell like cleaner or like coffee, it smelled like a wet dog. Kudos for making my coffee right and knowing how to whip up a nice chocolate foam, though. read more

A latte is a commodity now thanks to Starbucks. No complaints about it, but it is what it is. Just pay attention they get your order right. The service is ok. That's really what differentiates a coffee shop unless they're exceptionally bad. The folks working there in the morning seem to do the bare minimum to not get in trouble. The parking lot is ok, but it's sometimes a bit dirty. Grab a broom and clean in front! The location is terrible unless you're heading west on Warner or north on Magnolia.. It's definitely not worth the u-turns if you're going east or south. It's ok inside. But think "meets corporate standards". There is nothing bad about it, but you'll forget you were there 5 minutes after you leave. read more

So I actually didn't get any of the new lavender drinks because I'm getting older, trying to watch my figure and be healthier but don't let me stop you. Instead, I ordered: Trenta Iced Green Tea $4.45 (Add 1 packet Stevia, 3/4 inch Splash Oatmilk, Lavender Cream Cold Foam +$1.45) $5.90 | Venti Iced Caffè Americano $4.45 (Add 1 packet Stevia, 3/4 inch Splash Oatmilk, Lavender Cream Cold Foam +$1.45) $5.90. I've also ordered many of their other drinks such as: Tall Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Tall Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Venti Chocolate Mint Creme Frappuccino, Venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte and Trenta Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. I ordered the largest sizes to get the most bang for my buck. The lavender cream was pretty good and I liked that my drinks weren't overly sweet! Although, I'll say that the lavender flavor wasn't very strong. I think if I were to get it again, I'd trade it for lavender powder and lots of it instead of cream so that I would get a more concentrated flavor. If you like floral notes, you'll like them. I'll be drinking these for the rest of the week. They're nice to try but won't blow your mind. This can be said for the rest of the menu here, it's good but won't blow your mind, therefore, gets four stars. They're located in a small shopping plaza with a small free parking lot, I don't usually have issues with parking as people are always coming and going. Inside is small, casual with a few tables. There are also a few tables outside. Can't speak too much about the service since I do mobile orders nowadays, I'm usually in and out in a matter of seconds. Drinks are always made quickly. I usually order on weekdays, this time it was around 1 PM on a Thursday. If you order there, there isn't much of a line either but always people coming in and out. As I mentioned earlier, drinks can be expensive like most coffee shops but if you wait for deals, then you're getting a bargain. It's worth it to me since I don't finish my drinks in one sitting and will save for upcoming days. read more

relax location where you can just sit back and kind of be yourself. I like to sit inside the lobby and just get lost in my thoughts. It definitely has a really cool vibe. All the workers that work behind the desk are pretty chill. They're always willing to go above and beyond to make sure my drinks and everything is perfect. I absolutely LOVE the Starbucks on Magnolia and Warner that is managed by Dan!! The team there are always so friendly and greet their patrons when they walk in the door with a smile. Their drinks come out quickly and I've never had any issues with my order being incorrect. In addition, my children go to the school less than a half mile away. Dan and his staff are always willing to help out our community and make Starbucks part our neighborhood. They are intentional about building relationships with their team and also with the public.
