I personally love Starbucks and I'm hooked on their ice coffee! It's so good I believe it should be illegal but that's a whole different story. My go to drink is an iced coffee with cinnamon dolce and easy ice. For some reason a lot of the staff not this one but other locations mixed up cinnamon dolce with coconut milk. So I can tell this is a good Starbucks since they know how to read their markings. Always clean, super fast ,and super friendly! This Starbucks gets five stars from me! read more

Best location! Out of all the Starbucks I've gone to, this one has the friendliest staff and the BEST manager!

Starbucks is Starbucks and that's why we all like it, right? We know what to expect menu-wise, and we know the staff will vary from pleasant to super-awesome-upbeat-friendly. So the main differences in each Starbucks have to do with the ambiance, size, set-up, number of menu items, whether or not well-stocked, timeliness of service and accessibility/parking. This is my "home" Starbucks, the one where we all kinda grew up and had our little meetings, private moments working on projects, a place everyone knows where you can meet your friends or business contacts. That said, something so simple as moving out the comfy leather couch and oversized chairs to renovate the store, really changed its desirability for me. It's like going home and finding your mom gave away your bedroom. It's just wrong. And it can never feel right again. To make matters worse, in an effort to "improve" the place, they removed several small round tables and replaced them with a huge wooden table where individuals sit and work. No one talks to each other there. Everyone's in their own little bubble in public, like a New York subway, staring into computer screens, unfriendly as heck. I'm sad about these changes. Yes, the big comfy sofa gave it a bohemian/hippie feel, with the bulletin board announcing local services and events. But I LIKED that feel. I don't like this new Starbucks-institutionalized feel. This Starbucks is by far the best in the Foothill Ranch area. Other than the small crappy parking lot I love this one best of all. I typically come here after my workouts around the corner. What I like about them the best is they're very, very consistent. I've never had a bad iced coffee or iced Americano here. And they're very friendly. I think I had to wait one time just a tad longer than normal but nothing out of the ordinary & they gave me a free "Sorry for the wait" drink card. I wasn't even expecting but it was much appreciated & it showed that they were attentive to the fact that it was taking longer than usual. But like I said it wasn't even that long of a wait. I actually started to come here & bypass the drive through store on Alton because this store is just much more consistent in the coffee. Which is sad because the Alton store is literally across the street from my house where this one is a good 3 miles away. read more

Summary: The best Starbucks I have ever been to. If you have ever been to a Starbucks, you understand the basic setup. But this one is slightly special for three basic reasons. 1) The staff is attentive and friendly. It is tradition at this location to learn as many names of customers as they can. They will say hello, call you by name, and go over some friendly banter. It is a nice touch that I don't see elsewhere. 2) The coffee. I've been to a lot of Starbucks and every location makes your coffee just a little bit different. This one just so happens to make my particular order better than any other Starbucks I have been to. 3) Speed. These guys are fast. Most orders take about 1-2 minutes to complete. No need to order on the App or call ahead. They always have plenty of staff on hand and they are good at what they do. Expect to have your order very quickly. read more

I just wanted to praise the staff at this Starbucks. I'm in sales and I buy a lot of coffee at all different Starbucks stores. Every time I come in to this location I am treated so nicely. I want to especially thank Amanda, Corey and George. They are all so upbeat, accommodating and just straight up take pride in their job. It's very refreshing especially in this area when most don't even want to work. I really appreciate the uplifting attitude and a willingness to make sure I'm taken care of and I get everything exactly right for my clients. Drive far out of your way to avoid this Starbucks. I came in at 9:04 pm (56 minutes before closing). First of all, I stood at the counter with no one in front of me for 6 minutes before someone came to take my order. Then when I asked about a pastry she begrudgingly told me that they were put away for the night but if I really wanted it she could check and see if they had it. Finally I asked for two waters to go with my drinks and she rolled her eyes and virtually refused to make them. I had to ask two more times. read more

This Starbucks is located across from the Round Table Pizza, although it's more like across the parking lot since it's not part of the main road. There was no one else in line so it came out quickly. There is a lot of internal room to wait around next to some socks. There is also outdoor seating available. It has two gender-neutral restrooms. read more

This is the Starbucks closest to home and therefore the one I frequent the most. Unlike many other locations I've been to, service here has always been outstanding. I have yet to have a bad experience. And Winston is the best barista ever!!! Besides being a really cool guy, he's super quick and every drink he makes is perfect! The one gripe I have about this location is the parking. Unless you visit early in the morning, it's terrible! There are limited spaces and it's shared by 5 other businesses and therefore many times you have to park in the lot of the neighboring office building. I don't mind the extra walk but there are bushes that line the other parking area and therefore it's a bit of a pain to try and find the one small opening. The other option is to walk all the way around which is really not practical, especially if you're thinking to quickly run in and out for a cup of coffee. read more

Worst Peppermint Mocha ever. Hubby was nice to get me a venti peppermint mocha as a treat because it is my fav. When he brought it home I took one sip and it was black coffee with a hint of peppermint. So disappointed. When I asked my husband if maybe someone new was there he said the guy remarked that he may have messed it up and forgot a shot. My husband assumed he had dumped it and remade it but apparently NOT!!! He paid the price for a Venti Peppermint Mocha but I got a Venti black coffee with a hint of peppermint that ended up being poured down the drain. So much for my special treat. Fortunately, there are plenty other Starbucks close by like the drive through on Lake Forest. I think I'll stick with that one from now on. read more

I'm very critical when it comes to my Starbucks'. First of all, this place is ALWAYS crazy. I don't know why - maybe because it's the only (real) Starbucks in Foothill. The craziness is highly compounded by the constant lack of parking availability in the lot - I guess the bagel shop that never has customers and the odd curry place attract a lot of customers too? The employees as a whole would not be in my top 50% of awesome baristas. There are a couple that genuinely seem happy, but for the most part I'm rather indifferent to their indifferent attitudes. They remodeled recently, which is nice - but I can't figure out their seating situation for the life of me. I guess a couple of high top tables and one giant normal table was the smartest idea for this Starbucks? While I'm glad they updated to the new Starbucks look, I liked the old setup better. read more

The staff here is very friendly but the WiFi is the absolute worst I've seen at any Starbucks locations. Explains why the place is usually empty. It seems actually that as a company, Starbucks is doing more to limit internet access and charging abilities. The location in Oceanside I was at last week covered all of the outlets. The staff there told me it was due to the homeless issue in the area. I wish the company would get this all figured out because it's become less productive to go Starbucks to get work done anymore. read more

Even on Saturday & Sunday mornings when there's a line almost out the door (from the great breakfast & lunch place next door) I don't even worry about it because they're so fast! I want to give this location more stars because Blake was very friendly. I overheard him say it was his first day, which is why he was a little slower, but he was very friendly and seemed he was really trying to learn and be as fast and efficient as he could. I was actually surprised it was only his first day because he seemed to know what he was doing. I figured it was his first week at least. But the girl behind the counter, I think her name was Amanda, was not as friendly. She seemed to be annoyed and wasn't a very customer service first kind of person. I understand it was a little busier and she was trying to move quickly. But none of the customers seemed to mind it was taking a little longer. Met at this location with two other work colleagues to have some discussions. The first thing that hit me when I arrived is it was tough to park. This Starbucks is in a strip mall with 2-3 other restaurants and even though I showed up around 3 pm there was no parking. There is a lot across the street but it's attached to an office building so I was loathe to park there just in case it was not allowed/frowned upon. I ended up parking at another lot/strip mall and walking over. Not a huge deal but be aware. The actual Starbucks is small inside. There is not that much seating/plugs/etc. I would not suggest working here. There was some outside seating which is always good in California. The crew working were fine and the typical friendly place. The order went well and the quality was good. I did use the bathroom and it was not in a great state at the time. Not sure if that was timing and Starbucks bathrooms are not typically overly clean but this one was rougher than usual that day. read more

Shamefully, I am a Starbucks junkie. Even more shamefully, I recently moved to the Foothill Ranch area and couldn't suppress my excitement when I discovered that I had a Starbucks (literally) right down the hill from my new home. I'm such a sucker for those chai tea lattes. And now that Starbucks sells those mini-donuts, I'm completely doomed. Each one is smaller than the palm of my hand, but it's so delicious! The flavors are chocolate and birthday cake (aka vanilla). If you buy three, there's a bit of a discount, so naturally, you should always buy three. Unfortunately, they don't sell the mini-donuts at this Starbucks. This is true for many stores. Still, I'm a fan of the FR store. The baristas are quick and friendly, and the drinks are tasty. During several occasions, I've been offered free drink samples that a barista has made on the spot. Fancy! The location is also mighty convenient--it's right next to the 241. And they've got a cute corner-lotish patio area that's good for weekend, newspaper-reading mornings. read more

I work in one of the buildings just across the parking lot from this Starbucks, so I come in 5 days a week for my iced caramel macchiato fix. Because of the frequency of my visits, my review might be a bit biased. I love this store location! I have my favorite baristas who greet me every morning by name and ask if I'm getting my usual. They know I recently got engaged so they regularly ask how the wedding planning is going. I have been going to this location for a few years I stop on my way to work. I order on my app I walk in and go with my coffee in hand Winston was the BEST Barista, everybody knew him and loved him. Since he's been gone it's a mess I wait so long for my coffee , I order on my app as I always do but when I get there the have a bunch of stickers not even on the cups yet to get your coffee in line to be made.
