I would first like to start off by saying this location do not go to relax inside. There's a homeless camp just footsteps away and they constantly loiter around the business. It's not children friendly because of this reason. The outside premises is disgustingly filthy. It smells like trash and god knows what else. the drive through is also very long and takes forever to order. It's either that or get harassed by homeless people handing outside the door. On top of that I was lied to by an employee about receiving my triple star day and just to app a cherry ontop of everything I had a whole bean In im drink and I sucked it right up my start and almost choked I had to spit it out real quick it nearly scared me to death! With that being said I will never go to this location again. Im sad that I had to be the one to write this about this location as much as I love start bucks this location is a hazard and just in a bad location. The experience I had right here was not what I envisioned it would be. I am a fan of the tumblers and this location was lacking in that field as well. Sad to say this location doesn't offer anything that would bring me back. Not friendly. Not reliable. The drinks were not made well. Poorly maintained. Understaffed. What an awful experience, the only nice barista was the man with glasses there everyone else was stunningly rude. We get to the window we tell him we'd like to redeem our points for one drink. He continues to use all 600 of my points we kindly ask him " was it just the one drink you redeemed" he says well if that's what you said thats what I did. He refunded us after he realized but the whole time just attitude all around :( as a barista myself I understand the rushes are stressful but the attitude was insane. I know we all have our bad days but my goodness. I don't come here often maybe every few months. Today was the horrible I get there at 4:00 am 3/7/25, no cars in the drive thru or behind me all I wanted was one just one jug of coffee for my team. I asked for the jug the person Mindy or something or other says well if you wanted a jug you need to come in to the lobby and that doesn't open till after 5am. Then I'm like ok I don't mind coming back it's not urgent and I understand. Then she continues to say with someone in the background well we are short staffed and you actually can't come get it until 6:30am. I hardly ever write reviews but this is the dumbest thing I've ever herd no type of customer service, no type of well let me brew the coffee it will take 20 minutes if u don't mind pulling around or coming back I'd be glad to assist you. I order my coffee everyday sometimes twice in a place where it's easy for me to grab. The best one is by st rose parkway near Costco. They make excellent and consistent coffee flat white for me and they have a great costumer service.This place near smith's by Sahara and nellis is so bad I have to return twice already coz the barista couldn't make it right, there's a lot of milk and it's too hot you can't barely taste the flavor of espresso on it. ZERO STARS. The drive thru takes FOREVER. This is the only drive thru starbucks in the area. There is no indoor access so everyone and their mama goes thru the drive thru and orders everything on the menu then complains about their order being wrong and hands it back. The staff is lovely don't get me wrong but not having an indoor option is ruining their ratings. Every time I come here we wait in the drive thru for 20+ minutes. I'm grateful for this Starbucks because it's near my house . I'm a regular here . And I am able to do my work here peacefully with my laptop . Staff also gives me water when it's hot . And they give me suggestions on what to order . I always get an skinny vanilla latte, spinach feta wrap , apple crisp macchiato (iced) during fall , açaí berry drink during summer , and pistachio latte ( iced ) during fall . This location is really bad in general. The person who took my order at the drive through insisted I said "coconut milk" when it doesn't say that nowhere in my order. When I got to the window, I showed her my order & I apologized to her for the miscommunication. The worker with the sleeve tattoos (by the way I think it's really unprofessional to show arm tattoos at a business like this) just kept giving me a weird look. Manager of the store is so rude. As a previous starbucks employee I know the standards of a HALF DECENT store. I came to pick up my mobile order (one drink) and the doors were locked to the cafe. Went through the drive thru and asked for a tall iced water as well. The MANAGER (guy in the black apron) did not even greet me at the window, handed me my drink without saying anything and walked away. I figured he was grabbing my water but he came back and asked if I was missing anything. Which in itself isn't rude but if you would use your words and have a pleasant demeanor I wouldn't have an issue. Staff here is A+ They were out of stock of a few things but the staff was very patient when we didn't know what to order. Since they were out of stock on some of the things that we wanted we kind of got stuck and didn't know what we wanted I was worried that I was holding up the huge line in the Drive-Thru and I told them never mind and that I have to figure out what I want and come back and they assured me that I wasn't taking up too much time and to take my time which I thought was very nice. The reason for my rating dropping a star is because we were in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes (it was a really long line) only to finally get to the order intercom at 8:10 pm and see a sign taped too it saying they closed at 8 pm so we should try another location that's open later on Charleston. I understand hours are altered because of Covid-19 caused conditions but the hours on google are not updated and also no one came out to cut off the line instead they let 10+ cars wait in line for 20 minutes just to find out they were already closed.
