Even though there's now a Starbucks inside the mall, I like to go to this Starbucks more because the lines are always too long inside the mall. I've frequented this Starbucks so much that I've become a gold member. My favorite drink here is the caramel brulee frappucino. Sadly it is only seasonal so I get excited when November comes along. When the caramel brulee frappucino isn't available, I usually order drinks from the secret menu. My favorite right now is the cotton candy which is a grande vanilla bean, 2 pumps of Raspberry, and caramel drizzle on the cup. It's a great drink for this who like really sweet drinks. The service here is usually good, and there's a lot of parking available for everyone even though there are a lot of other businesses in the plaza. read more

Very disappointing store. I've gone there for over 2 years and as of lately, they are never open when they're supposed to be open. They keep switching their opening hours while customer show up early and are left outside with their door locked. Instead of opening at 4:30am as stated on their doors - they don't open until after 6am - like this morning. They don't ever bother to notify their customers or put a sign on the door that on any given day, they are opening late. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate, especially when a customer shows up early. Too many time I arrived there in the morning when the store is usually open and their doors are locked while the staff is inside the store ignoring me. read more

Man... So a while back I had asked for two ham and cheese croissant.. Got something else entirely ( the roasted ham, Swiss and egg sandwich, real good btw) . My gf and I were in a rush so we just took it and left. Today... I ordered a soy mocha with cinnamon and a roasted ham, swiss and egg sandwich .. Again. I'm in a rush hence the app order... WORSE STARBUCKS IN THE VALLEY!! The "manager" Flor is horrible! When I think of Starbuck I think delicious coffee and friendly staff. NOT HERE! Plus the inability to make a simply drink correctly is outrageous. Upside down iced Caramel Macchiato... not a real brain teaser. I did't complain about it, only brought it to their attention that is was incorrect. No big deal it just needed a stir but if you can even make that drink correctly how do you expect to make any correct?? I was told by Flor "All the correct ingredients are in there... Whats the problem?" I was shocked because when I brought it to her attention all I did was pick up the drink to make sure it was actually mine, looked at her and said "this is the upside down Macchiato? But really the low rating is due to the fact that every time I come here, they cannot get my drink order correct. EVERYTIME! I guess because it a "partial" on the menu item and the other part is following directions. Either way, all bad. But if you are getting the typical popular drinks, its all good. This was probably some of the worst service that I have ever had at any Starbuck's as well as the most poorly made Frappuchinos. I cannot say that I won't return to this location because I'm hoping my bad experience is just based on the employees who were there. Ordered a caramel waffle frap. The store was not crowded at all. It took forever to have it made. Once I finally got it, the guy said he doesn't have the waffle thing so he added hazelnut. I hate hazelnut and to me a caramel frap tastes like it is missing something. I said I don't want it.I asked for a mocha frap (not my fav but I already paid using my account). I get the frap and you could still taste the powder from the mix.... The 2 guys that worked there looked half asleep and didn't seem to give a shit. This was on a Sunday around 8AM. It seems strange to review a single starbucks when it's such a huge chain but there's a lot of variance from location to location. I only give this 2 stars because the baristas are friendly. It should get 1 star. It's SO SLOW. I used to work at a starbucks and I know how fast you can be but these people move slower than slugs. The managers should also put more people on during prime hours. It's always busy when I go (which is often for work coffee runs) and yet they only have 3 people working. You need more than that when your line is five people and 5 people waiting for drinks. It's ridiculous. And the other Starbucks close by is also slow. So it's really a lose lose thing. After a busy day of shopping, you'll need a little thirst quencher or some caffeine to get your body moving to spend...spend...spend. Where do you go?! Why even ask?! All you have to do is just visit the Starbucks at Northridge Fashion Center. You'll find Starbucks on the first floor near JcPenny. This location can get very busy at certain peak weekends and after work hours. If you do see a line extend outside the Starbucks, it can go fast and/or slow. There are tables outside of the Starbucks, but with the many people waiting in line to order or to pick up the drink. I'd prefer just going to the benches or going upstairs to the food court and sit down. The pickup area is very tight and you may not hear your name if you are not in the store. Sometimes I feel sorry that this Starbucks is understaffed. So many orders and so many tasks to do to fulfill multiple order. If you see me, I'll usually order my Grande Passion or Green Ice Tea. It would be nice if there were two Starbucks. One at the current position and another one at the end near Pacific Theatres. Summer is coming and I am sure the Frappuccino orders will increase tremendously and this will be the busiest store in the mall. You think I write too much? Another one of my fav. locations. I go here before work or when I get off work. They are tucked away in the shopping center, but there is always parking. I love the fact that they have learned my name and I know them. They are always asking how my day is and such and such. I have become friends with them. They are so nice. It can get crowded at times and take a while to get your drink, which has happened to me at multiple times, but I do still go. I mean I work in the industry and understand things happen. You know? But I do appreciate they always try their best. A few have attitudes, but for the other Baristas, they are pretty cool. It happens, no one is perfect. I think it's important to note that my regular Starbucks used to be the big one on Zelzah. I was in a hurry one day and stopped in to this one (much closer to home) and have been here every day since. The reason I prefer this location is that it doesn't get too crowded (obviously there are rushes in the morning, lunch hour, and right after work, but it's still not as loud as a whole high school storming in all at once). I can't speak for mobile order but my drinks are always done quickly and perfectly- not once have I had an issue with my order. Sometimes it's done so fast that I don't even know it's been sitting on the counter for a few minutes (headphones on so I can't hear them call my name- my fault!) I always have somewhere to sit with an outlet. If I'm being really picky and want a low table/ chair with a back, it usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes to snag one. Starbucks is Starbucks though. The drinks are going to be pretty much consistent everywhere. What makes this location great- in my opinion- is the staff here. I've been coming in every day (all day) for nearly a month now and I've noticed that this group of people is always smiling and helpful. The morning shift people always brighten my day when I come in with their happy energy. Every single person I've talked to has been great and seem to enjoy working here. And I'd like to specifically mention the manager (at least I think he is the manager? Ah yes just heard him say he's the manager) who is always on top of everything. I swear nothing gets past him- if something is amiss he is there before anyone notices. They are always restocking/ organizing the snacks and fridge items, making sure every corner of the place is clean....and this place is CLEAN. I'm serious they're sweeping the floors and wiping down the counters so often you could eat off of them. Speaking of clean, the bathroom is always spotless (thank god). There's plenty of parking right in front of the store. The music is an appropriate volume. I really just appreciate this location. read more

When i first came in, the employees there were cheery, which gave a very good first expression. I gave my order, and the look on the cashier's face was supposed to be on every worker's face; he was happy to serve me. As i watched on, the lady who was making the drinks was just simply phenomenal. It was a busy day, and there was about four drinks in front of mine. She got through them in less than 5 minutes. Sometimes, when i got my drink, it tasted as if it was watered down or not properly made. But it tasted perfect. The reason for the three stars is because you can NEVER get a place to sit here to save your life, unless you're planning to sit outside on a nearby restaurant's furniture. Giving up the gold card - not doing business with a company that cares so little for customer security and has inept, rude customer service representatives. My Starbucks app was most likely hacked in this store since this was the last place I used it and it has not been used since early November. I go to Starbucks often but mostly closer to csun. This Starbucks was so nice and cozy. This Starbucks has a large table to do work on and enough tables also. They have power mats which is really useful or else I wouldn't have been able to write this review. I especially liked the staff, the one who helped me was Naria.
