I love this Starbucks so much , I started coming here since the pandemic when my other Starbucks closed down and it isn't just a place to grab cofee, at first I wasn't open , I just grab my drink and go but over the time my favorite baristas made me feel comfortable and welcome and most of them know my drink by heart, which makes me day, the atompshere is always warm,the service is amazing , it really feels good whenever I come in here, I really appreciate this place and people so much and highly recommend. read more

It's so hard to find any Starbucks store when you're a Starbie girl in Dunkin Donuts dominant States lol anyways, I was blown away by how hospitality the staff was. They were very organized and drinks were given out by a snap of your fingers! Mobile orders ready in like 5secs! What's important is how the drinks taste, still amazingly done! My usual orders tasted real good. Just like how I expected maybe better! The only thing is I always order light ice, other locations give me full venti cup, this location only fill half, so... Most of the time this is actually an incredible place. But there are other times when they are slow I can wait an automatic time for the simplest order. Now if you compare that to say a Starbucks on 16th St., which is in the business district they are nonstop, and there is never a wait more than about 3 to 4 minutes if that. This location is really convenient for me! Right on Broad Street, close to a subway station, and right by where I work at the hospital. There's parking on site and a few other area shops in the small plaza. I almost always order through the app (gotta rack up those stars) and my order is usually ready from the time I put the request through the app and walk my way over to the location (5 minute walk tops.) I like to get creative now and again but usually stick to my usual order. The employees are generally nice and quick with the service. It gets busy during the morning rush (as expected) and in the mid afternoons (when they sometimes have their happy hour specials), but the workers keep pace and keep the crowd moving. There is food and small tables set up in case you're looking to eat and enjoy inside. I usually grab and go and appreciate the ease in which I can do so. read more

Not all Starbucks are created equal. This location is definitely not my favorite, but due to its proximity, it's one I frequent often. I don't get that neighborhood vibe. No "nice to see you again" or "good morning" even though I have frequented here fairly often lately, sometimes, day after day. I know, it's a chain, how could I possibly get that small town treatment in a big city? Well, I absolutely get that at the other Starbucks I go to in Jenkintown and I miss that warm welcome here. I've had quite a few issues here... They leave chunks of matcha at the bottom of my green tea latte. They didn't know how to use the app sending me off without earning my points. I pay $5-$7 for my coffee, I should get something back, dammit! They have been out of blonde roast. They have been out of cold brew. Ugh!! Lately these haven't been issues, thankfully, but they most certainly have in the past. I've had the best luck ordering through the app and picking up at this location and highly recommend doing so. Parking can be rough, but hey, at least there's a parking lot! It is next to a bus stop which is nice for those who take public transportation. I usually combine trips here with quick stops at TD Bank which is in the same shopping complex so for that it's convenient. read more

So I stopped in here for a drink and a rest stop. The coffee was fine people were pleasant but NO restroom was available. They MIGHT open them later this month. Well that doesn't help when you are 40 miles from home and the hospital next door only lets the patient in, not their driver. read more

I just came here to get a drink while waiting for my phone to be ready at the AT&T next door. Some woman was in Starbucks crying because she had lost her phone and I watched as the Starbucks employees comforted her with hugs and were trying to help her locate it using their personal phones to let her log into her "find my iPhone". I was blown away at how sweet and helpful all the employees were in trying to help her. My faith in humanity has been restored in this little Starbucks on broad. Was forced to go there this morning as my regular location was not offering order ahead. App said drink would be ready when I got there. Walked in not that busy and at least 6 people working behind counter. Barista was making my drink so slow as she had to shoot the breeze with her co worker. When she is finally done she says my name and express order. I say thanks and take it from her. No reply back. On top of that I ask for light foam and got the normal thick head of foam. Im definitely a DD girl by heart but lately Ive been depleting my mortgage payments to afford a sweetened hot caramel and lets not forget the birthday cake pop that is to die for. This Starbucks seems to be pretty efficient. I've been there a handful of times and can't say anything too negative about it. I tend to order via the Starbucks application and then come pick up what I ordered. I just left and it took about 11 minutes for my drink to be presented to me. It was busy so I fully understand. The employees were working efficiently and doing the best they can. I think that's what a customer looks for along with a great product. The parking isn't too bad considering it's South Philadelphia. I think some of the employees have been there for sometime. The inside is not too big and it's hard to find seating the times I've been there. I think the Starbucks being right on S. Broad street makes it an easy location for people to come too. read more

As soon as I open my eyes in the morn, I put on shoes, brush the teeth and head here for my morning jolt. The staff are friendly and we always chat it up. This particular Starbucks is always bustling so finding a seat may be hard - but I don't stay, I get my drink to go. The staff know what my drink is by now, so I don't even have to tell them. There are reviews saying that the condiment bar is "dirty". Because this Starbucks is always busy, it's tough for the staff to come out every second to clean the condiment bar. And to be honest, the people who use the condiment bar are slobs. I've stood at the bar fixing my drink and have watched people make a mess. One lady made a complete mess then had the nerve to yell, "um, someone needs to come and clean this mess!". I wanted to throw my drink on her. But yes, the staff do come out when they have a second to clean the bar and to even sweep the floor. Cut them some slack, people. The one thing I hate is the parking lot. It's small and you share it with the loserville- junkie Quest medical facility patients. These ghetto fabulous people think they are better than you and decide to just double park in the lot and not move. So, to save yourself a brawl which may leave some weave on the ground, park on the street at a meter. Other than that, I love my friendly, neighborhood Starbucks : ) read more

Ugh. From worse to worser... Went in this morning for a few drinks. Condiment bar was gross; luckily, I didn't need it today. My order (I get this all the time, so I know I didnt mess up): Venti no-water Chai & a grande extra-caramel caramel macchiatto. First was the Chai. "Non-fat no-water chai" said the barista. (She's also the manager!) I politely told her I ordered a no-water chai, not non-fat, and she took it back, made a new one. Next drink was the extra caramel macchiatto. She called it a "Grande non-fat extra caramel macchiatto." I again informed her that it was not non-fat, to which she replied that it wasnt non-fat. And I said that isnt what you called. And she said, rudely, "Listen to what I'm saying. It isnt non-fat." Ok then... Eff this place. read more

I really enjoy working here when I need a change of scenery and love the easy access via car, bike, public transit, etc. Although I live close enough to walk, I am sometimes skeptical about walking with my laptop, phone, etc. so the option to drive and park for free keeps me coming back! It feels like a neighborhood coffee shop even though it's a chain store. The baristas are always super friendly and a few of them have made an effort to remember my name. My favorite is the Berry Hibiscus Refresher--unlike anything at any other coffee shop! Love it and will be back! read more

I can't believe I'm reviewing Starbucks but here I am. This place is a panic attack waiting to happen. It's always so damn crowded with little seating. You literally have to steal seats sometimes. You're also rushed ordering because of this. The service is decent though and well, it's Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks is one of the better locations I've been too since moving to Philly. The employees are nice and do not give attitudes like other locations. The area is always clean and they always get the order right the first time. The location is a great spot because it is close to where I work and go to church. It has a good amount of space if you need to study. And a plus for all students is that there are a good amount of outlets if you need it. This Starbucks doesn't get too loud so it is another great reason to study here. There always doctors and other medical professionals who pass through here so it motivates me to study while here. There are new products every so often. The coffee roasts don't taste watered down like other coffee chains. Yes, it can be a little on the expensive side but it is better quality coffee to say the least. And they always ask if I want room for coffee even if I don't need it. This Starbucks is a great establishment NOTE: the bathrooms have a passcode for entry so you just have to ask them for it if you need it. I'm pretty sure the code changes frequently. read more

i swear... this Starbucks always disappointing me. why do i keep going back here????? the service is slow and the manager is so rude. as you all know already parking at this location is a nightmare already to begin with, so when you throw in bad service and long wait times it really doesn't fix any problem. speaking of awful service. this location is SO BEHIND when it comes to the 'order to go' app feature. I have tried to do this on 4 occasions now and EVERY TIME my drink was not prepared before i got there. How is it that you can't work in this new feature for your customers? i have been to 4 other Starbucks and used the new feature and haven't had one problem at any of those locations.... you guys really need to get it together.
