Ok, I like you dear reader likes to patronize local-small owned business. I think it helps our local community grow. I have a feeling that only a corporate entity could afford to buy up this little parcel and make a Starbucks. To give you an idea where it is, it's by Winton/Blossom or the area of North Winton Village. You can see it from the CVS across the street and oh yea the Aldi (that in all honesty it was to be in that area also a urgent care is also in that area) I have been driving past this area and had wondered what it would be and considering the one Starbucks on Monroe down the street from Dogtown closed I guessed this is what it was going to be. Yes kids a Starbucks.... Now not knowing the area 100% I am not really sure there is some sort of coffee shop per se but.. The inside is modern, clean and shades of beige.. yes the bathrooms are sparkling clean. The staff is friendly and helpful a plus and hours are good from 5:39/6 am open until 9 pm every day. I got a London Fog Latte (Steamed Milk, Earl Grey Tea and three pumps of Vanilla) I got a Venti mind you and also usually they put way more of that syrup in it and I always ask for less. It was good and just right for the afternoon. My husband got a tall Cafe Misto basically it's a Cafe au Lait or Coffee with Steamed/warmed milk. He liked it and it's usually what he gets when coming to a Starbucks. It's a nice edition to the area, they have ample outdoor seating with chairs, tables and umbrellas which I think is great because not everyone wants to take it and go in the car and only a few places around here have any outdoor seating and this is a plus. Even while we were visiting on a warm fall day a lot of people took advantage of this. The inside has a good amount of seating but it's not huge. Theparking situation is good and yes kids they have a drive thru and they also have a walk up window we noticed while sitting outside. If your in the area or wanna order from your app and pick up and go. Enjoy

New Starbucks in the North Winton Village area!

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks in general especially in small cozy neighborhoods. I would rather get my coffee from a local cafe that's not a chain brand. However, I believe in moderation and diversity, I don't think having Starbucks in this neighborhood is a bad thing. I like that they are open until 9pm, friendly staff and the place is very clean with a drive through! I tried one of their Fall lattes and it was delicious! Cheers y'all.

Outdoor Seating/Patio. Very nice!

Great new Starbucks in North Winton! I've been waiting for this! It's so nice and very spacious. The little seating area is so comfy and there are plenty of tables. They also have a drive thru and for a new place, it moves pretty fast! I ordered a coffee for pickup at 7 this morning and it was ready on time AND on a double star day!

Slow slow slow service. Not sure why. Don't see normal speed that Starbucks usually do. Staff seem to move slow.

Pandamonium is a creative coffee spot where unexpected combinations yield some extremely delicious…read moredrinks! On my first visit, I had the unfortunate timing to arrive late in the morning after a huge rush of locals had pretty much wiped out all their specials. Except one: a coffee drink with fish sauce. You read that correctly. FISH SAUCE. Like the kind you put on a savory Asian dish. It wasn't what I wanted, but the person making the coffees talked me into it because, as noted, they were literally out of almost everything else. I thought, well, I do like fish sauce, and maybe it just adds an umami kick, the way salt on caramel amps up the richness of a dessert. And I was not disappointed! In fact, it was delightful and very easy to drink! From that point, I felt pretty much hooked. These folks know their flavor combos and despite how 'weird' some might sound, they just work. My current obsession is their miso gourd-core on their fall menu - sort of like a savory pumpkin spice latte - delicious. I also love the golden nugget with turmeric maple syrup and clove. Really good. I have not tried anything else here food-wise (i.e. no cookies, smoothies or other nibbles), but usually pair my coffee with something delectable from next door at Jens Artisan - such as a quiche, mini cheesecake or cinnamon roll.... I'm a fan. And I highly recommend trying something outside of your comfort zone!

I liked Joe Bean on the one occasion I got to visit their former location on University Avenue, and in some respects, I think this move is a nice change for them. They have way more space, and it feels like a great place that could host events relating to the production and tasting of coffee - not to mention, much more parking! The new facility features nice large windows, a sunny morning vibe, beautiful decor, a great selection of really appealing coffees, snacks, bags of coffee for home use, and lots of cheery plants. I had a latte with oat milk and Ethiopia Misty Valley coffee, for $5. The latte and my friend's Americano took a good while to be prepared (the two staff working told us apologetically and nicely that they only had one machine to do all the work of supporting the many people present that day), but when it was done, it was absolutely worth it. A latte of this quality is the true reason you go to a place like Joe Bean as opposed to Starbucks. This is what the movement of really high-level coffee experience should really be all about. I cannot compare it to any other latte I've had in Rochester. This alone puts Joe Bean as the best coffee in town in my opinion - Ugly Duck, Glen Edith, Fuego, Coffee Connection, etc., I'm looking at you! Thank you to Joe Bean for staying open and providing a great experience. If you are reading this as a prospective customer, I highly recommend you go check it out!

There is parking out front if you drive along the side of the building past other businesses. The quality of the beans seems incredible, which is why I stopped in. Being a strong enthusiast of coffee, collecting beans in my travels around the country and the world to enjoy at my home, I have been in many coffee shops and to many roasters over the years. One of my favorite parts is connecting with others who also have a passion and appreciate the product. However, that is where my dissatisfaction lies for this business. My greeting was terse and my enthusiastic inquiries about the various beans was met with disengaged and pretentious replies that all of the beans were great. I realize this and that is why I was visiting. Despite multiple attempts to engage in conversation to learn more about the taste characteristics and growing regions, I continued to be met with dismissive comments or silence. Maybe I did not appear to be knowledgeable but I left feeling that I was not worthwhile to the staff member who was working when I visited. I would not return to give business when such poor service was provided during my visit. There are many specialty roasters in the country and world from whom I can enjoy both excellent beans and excellent service.

She went to the kitchen to ask for me, and they said yes. I'm so glad I asked, it was soooo good. The lime crema sauce was refreshing. The beans were tasty.
