I just think this is an amazing store, the employees have demonstrated immense fortitude in light of the pandemic. I've seen many poorly behaved customers get angry and take it out on them and its truly embarrassing to see grown men and women yell at service workers for following well intentioned guidelines during the pandemic. My drink was literally only half full today...On other occasions, they have consistently left food items out of my order (which I have zero time to go back and get, though I did pay for them). Check to make sure your cups aren't half empty and verify that all of your food items have been placed in your bag. The employees at this location are inept. read more

I come to this store frequently and have typically always had great experiences. This day in particular was rather bad. The service used to be fast and friendly but in the past month (June) I have noticed the service is much slower and the employees all seem very stressed. Today I went in to get my tea and I notice there were not enough employees for how busy the store is. The employees were working very hard but it seems this store went from great management to poor management in a matter of weeks. Unfortunately I do not have the time to wait 20 minutes start to finish to get my tea. It is also very sad to watch these employees struggle to serve people. For these reasons I do not recommend visiting this store. I personally won't be going back until things are back to normal as before. read more

Today was my final visit to this location, and I will be contacting the corporate office. It sucks because this is the closest coffee shop to where I work. Employees are mostly rude and dismissive (especially the male employees) and the coffee itself is consistently horrible at this location. It always tastes bitter and burnt, and even though I ask for milk and syrup in my iced coffee, I get to the window and sure enough--coffee that looks nearly black and tastes barely sweetened. I always liked that this place is closer to work and cheaper than Dutch Bros, but I have the money and time to go there every day and get a good coffee instead. read more

This is a new Starbucks I've been coming to and it's pretty good. The employee's here is only average but one. Her name is Mikayla. The huge strip malls in the area are quite new as is this Starbucks. It's pretty dead empty here and the place closes early. If you went over to the Galleria mall it's completely the opposite. If you want hustle and bustle plus people watching. If you just want to get your coffee in a quiet area, then this would be more your speed read more

Cashier was friendly and my order was fine however the barista handed me a cup with a lid covered with a liquid of some kind. The tables and floors were dirty as well. Had probably the worst Starbucks experience I've had to date at this location this morning. Ordered a medium caramel crunch frappucino and a piece of bread. Waited for a few minutes (there were maybe 6 people with drinks ahead of me), so, no worries. Finally, this younger barista guy puts a drink on the counter - a creme something. Nobody goes for it, and since everyone who was ahead of me in line had already received their drinks, went to check it out. The drink abbreviation on it was CRCF. Hm. I ask the guy if that was my drink, since there were no other drinks behind me, and it would make sense if CRCF stood for "caramel ribbon crunch frappucino". "Oh no", the guy assures me. "This stands for a creme frappucino". I ask if my drink is coming up. The kid asks the other barista what CRCF stands for. Lo and behold, that was supposed to be my drink. Ok, messed up drink order. That's annoying but nothing huge. I show the guy my receipt, and he looks at it, and starts to crumple it up. Uh... can I get my receipt back? He grunts, and hands me this half crumpled receipt back. Next up: he starts to go to make the drink, but comes back over. "Did they tell you we are out of the crunch? They SHOULD have," saying this as though it is my fault that I wasn't notified. An older lady barista tells me they can put some other crunch topping on it, but just not that one. Ok, that's fine. Really, I'm more annoyed at this point. Finally I get a drink. Not the drink I originally ordered, mind you, but still a drink. The guy says "Let me go get you a free drink voucher". Hey, I was annoyed up to this point, but that's cool. Thanks. He goes off for about ten minutes. He searches everywhere - behind the drink bar, in the office. He even finds time to help take down drink orders at the register. But really, 10 minutes. He comes back and tells me they don't have any, and offers to make me another drink. Uh, no. I don't need any more beverages from this location. Dear Starbucks, when you charge so much for a drink, one of the things you have to absolutely nail is customer service. Believe it or not, even if you make passable drinks, people won't want to visit you because of mediocre service. read more

I am always in search of a great Starbucks. Although Starbucks is a chain, they are NOT all created equally! I decided to try the Lonetree Starbucks this morning to switch things up. I am happy that I did! It was a great start to my day. As I entered the facility I was promptly greeted by not one, but two Starbucks employees. I was the only one in line, so I walked right up to the counter. As I dug through my purse for my gift cards to load onto my account, Norma waited patiently and told me to take my time. I finally found the gift cards and gave them to Norma to add to my account. Next, I ordered a Grande Flat White and paid. When I walked over to the pick up counter, Benjamin greeted me and inquired about my day. When he handed me my delicious beverage, he told me to try it out to see of I liked it. This Starbucks is located in a nice area. The lady (whom I didn't catch the name of) was very amiable. I was planning on going through the drive-thru, but it was a very long line, so I had decided to go inside instead. One minute after putting my order in they had called my name out- that was very quick! I've been here many a times and I love that they have chairs and tables outside, which makes it a nice place to enjoy the outdoors while studying. I love this Starbucks! To me, this is the best Starbucks in all of Rocklin. The staff is friendly, and they actually make your drink the way YOU want it to be made. I have been coming to this Starbucks since it first opened, and never once have I regret it. I ask for extra Carmel, they give it to me. If I don't like how my drink is, they fix it without attitude. The staff members are very polite, and cares if your drink is good or not. The building is very clean. I have never been grossed out by a mess or grime, because it does not exist. The location of this Starbucks is very nice! It is right by my house, and close to all the shopping centers. The best part about this Starbucks is that it is not normally packed (when ever I go). Rarely leave reviews but since I've had bad service here 7 times!!! I Work near by so try to online order ahead to pick up my drink during my breaks and every time I show up to pick it up they haven't even started making it. I always give about 15 minutes wait time for it to be made. Today I came in later then my ready time was shown on app and they did not have it so I came up to the register to ask if they can make it she walked away, I assumed to check on the order but no she started talking to her coworker so I waited another 5 minutes. Still nothing... and people who came in after me ordering inside have all already left with their orders. Online section all emptied out too while I was there.. So I came up once again asking if it's being made by any chance, the gentleman had no response. I told him I have to return to work and he said hold on and starts telling his (assuming new) employee of what is expected from new employees to be done daily. At this point I got frustrated and asked him "excuse me can you please cancel my online order because I have to return to work" and he just went back to talking to his employee. Im sorry but it shouldn't take over 30 minutes for a simple order as a refresher. Also... never got the order canceled or refunded. It's a bit ridiculous. read more

This locations is much faster, friendlier, and more efficient than the Sunset Blvd. location around the corner. I order from this particular location almost everyday and they have yet to disappoint. This is a great Starbucks. The partners are very nice, know my name and drink when I walk in the door. I have to disagree about the comment on hours. This location stays open later than most in Rocklin, not closing until 10pm. While not as late a something in a larger downtown city, it's pretty good for the burbs. This location is amazing. I come here multiple times a week. That being said I want to tell you about my experience in the drive through today... This may be t.m.i. but... I've been burning the candles at both ends for a couple of months with my two jobs, a benefit I threw over the weekend for a sick friend, other social gatherings etc. My boyfriend has been out of town for a few days and between ordering my drink at speaker and the window I called him to vent about my stressful day at work. While venting to him, I started crying right as I pulled up to the window. The woman took one look at me, punched something into the register looked at me and said, "This one is on us, and I really hope you have a better day." And the way she was looking at me I could tell she really meant it. So of course at that point I started full on bawling because of how touching the gesture was lol. I thanked her and pulled my car out of the drive through to gain my composure. With how busy and disconnected our world has become it was refreshing to see that a stranger took the time out of her day to try and make mine better. I'll always remember this. Thank you read more

I decided to give it another shot because it's the location closest to my home and, boy, I am sooo happy i did! They have been absolutely amazing! Love this Starbucks! Came here one morning before school and ordered a peppermint white mocha. Came out in no time at all, impressive considering there was still the morning rush. At first they made me a mocha without the peppermint but when I told them they immediately apologized and offered to make me a new one, made just as quickly as the first.
