A friendly neighborhood Starbucks. This location is not huge but has a few seatings and a good selection of merchandise. But because it's not a huge location, sometimes popular pastries can be sold out. I had two back to back visits during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I got a decaf americano and a cappuccino with added shot. I think a tall cappuccino with default one shot is too milky. So an added shot makes it a much better balance. While we sat and chat. A barista came over and offered Cran-merry orange lemonade refresher samples. It's a very pretty drink and sweet and delightful! I like the cozy vibes and I appreciate the staff are so friendly and helpful. There's a drive through too if you are in a rush and need a grab and go. read more

This review is strictly for the customer service (even though the drink was a sad looking concoction)The employees I've encountered at this location have been rude consistently for every visit. I thought it was just a bad day for them the first times but it's literally every time. I ordered on the mobile app and accidentally had it for inside pickup and the fact that the drive thru girl had to say " yeah, next time if you want to pick up in the drive thru, then you have to put it for the drive thru on the app" Then the drink she handed me was ridiculous and not what I ordered. Whoever made it should be embarrassed. The best part was the smiley face drawn on it...which I assumed was sarcasm because they knew that the drink was wrong. Come on Starbucks.... They are rude. If you accidentally mobile order to "in store " instead of "drive thru", they won't just hand you your items in the drive thru. They make you find parking and go inside to pick it up. I ordered a vanilla foam protein latte. The rude cashier handed me literally just protein milk, no vanilla foam or vanilla flavor at all. It tastes horrible, how do you even mess that up? I love this Starbucks. I come here literally almost every day. I place my order through the mobile app and they always make it super quick I live less than 5 mins away and it's always ready when I get there. The customer service there is amazing! And I have to shout out the barista Olivia! She always knows my order and my name and even my partners name and order. She will write uplifting messages on our cups and when I come in she will move my order up to the front for me to grab. Definitely is very attentive and pays attention to detail. When someone else took my coffee they didn't give me an issue and made me another one. And when I was given the wrong order they made me the correct one. Everyone is always friendly here and they greet me when I walk in and say have a nice day. I couldn't give an anything less than 5 stars because they go above and beyond here. This Starbucks is a great location. They are always quick and my drink is made exactly as I ask. I usually have some custom orders and they never get it wrong. I just stopped by today for a grande pistachio nitro brew with cold foam and they gave me a venti cup for the cold foam!!! Don't use this store. I once appreciated the attention to detail and I liked the partners here. I was impressed that they watched for me and noticed and made sure that I knew they cared. Poor management = poor service. Take a look at the train wreck of google maps reviews. Chris Depalma's review 3 weeks ago if you don't believe this from just one person. Or Jamie Wilson the month before that. Or Christina Copeland and Kevin Smith, who complained about the people I see urinating on the drivethrough by the pick-up window. This list could go on for a mile. Now the manager threatens customers, their quality has gone to crap, employees are told to enforce policies that make it difficult for handicap patrons to get service, and recently, there is a homeless guy who keeps peeing on the drive through sidewalk. This is a supposedly full cup... a $7 Grande Latte. In the past this was my biggest complaint. This time another customer complained to me their drink was less than the small that sbx calls tall. I told her that is a frequent occurrence at this store. After the manager threatened me for not filing it the form in the app right and refused service, the next customer was afraid to complain but very frustrated. read more

First time at this location. On the corner of Fair Oaks and Howe. Connected to the Orange Theory and in the same area as Raleys. Dropped in on a Sunday around noon. I went through the drive thru and there were about 5 cars ahead of me, however the line went through pretty fast. The employee who took my order was sweet at the intercom to order as well as the window. I ordered the mango dragonfruit refresher with water and it tasted great and not watered down at all! When I got up to the window to scan my app she also asked if I wanted a black tea lemonade on the house! She actually had three to give away but I only took her up on one. Very rude employees, refused to give a homeless man a iced water in 102 degree weather, so I went up to the barista to order a water for the homeless person and he proceeded to stare behind me were I was sitting at to make sure I had bought something, caught me off guard because nobody is forcing you to be a bad person and have attitude towards paying customers. I'm sure it's policy that you can only give water to paying customers but come on it's not coming out of your pay check to give our a free water. Starbucks used to do it all the time I don't think bending the rules for a person in need is such a crime. On top of that within the same 20 minutes a customer was sitting next to me and one of the baristas took it upon herself to call out this women next to me if she was going to purchase anything or else she would be asked to leave . When many customers before her were studying without any purchases without being called out upon. It's very shady and it feels like the employees thrive off of bullying their customers since it's a "policy" after the lady nicely left I overheard the employee bad mouthing the costumer. Saying something along the lines of "I hate when customers ". Not very professional behavior and not a very hospitality work environment. read more

Not sure what is different about this place, but I am very disappointed in it tonight.....I literally live within walking distances to this location and always go here for my drive thru order. As I'm taking a nice long walk in the neighborhood tonight, I have to use the restroom due to my stomach hurting. Their first question is whether I've bought something; since I said no, they asked me to leave. Not sure when a policy to buy something came into effect with Starbucks in order to use the restroom; besides, dressed in normal clothes, I figured it wasn't a big deal. This Starbucks I don't frequent as much as other locations in the area (although I'm always at Raley's in this same strip mall). Every time I do stop by, the staff are always friendly and my order made quickly with accuracy. The lobby is decent sized, but, can get full pretty quick with Sac State students studying on their laptops. The drive thru line usually moves pretty quick even on a really busy day! read more

After driving past this store every day on my way to work, the 'Now Open' sign finally has graced the front of this new location! The store has a streamlined, clean look with wood flowing throughout the walls and tables, including a long table with metal stools in the middle of the store. The service was friendly and my green tea frappucino came out quickly. While I waited, I was offered samples of the new Nitro Cold Brew and banana nut bread. The cold brew was good, and was smooth and looked a lot like a Guinness even tho there was no alcohol in it. This shop opened yesterday and with a drive thru and the store open till 9, I can see myself coming here as my new go-to Starbucks. read more

This location is close to my work, so it's super convenient. The crew members are very friendly and outgoing. The drive thru can get crowded in the morning, but the line goes pretty quickly. I've never been disappointed with my order or the service here! Tip: if you like the doubleshot with white mocha, you can order 4 shots, over ice, in a venti cup, with white mocha, shaken. I went in this morning hoping that the cafe would go quicker than the drive thru. The baristas were ridiculously nice. I was greeted by almost every single one of them. Drive-thru review only: I love the layout of this drive-thru. Designed for a long line of cars and away from the parking lot and flow of entering traffic. Unlike most DB kiosks placed in the tiniest section of strip malls, this Starbucks drive-thru was conscious about the anticipated volume of business, and thoughtfully constructed to avoid any traffic clusterf*cks. I got in line with about 4 cars in front of me. Not too bad, since it's frappucino happy hour right now, and it seemed to be moving along. The speakers work very well. I could hear every word of the cashier as she was taking the orders of the cars in front of me. The young lady had great energy, was enthusiastic, and very nicely tried to upsell every drink and promote the half off fraps. When I got to the window, I could tell there was a delay with my single drink order. She profusely apologized and said there was an earlier mix-up, so she offered me the mistake drink while I waited for my actual drink. So if you're not in a hurry and have some patience, you can enjoy the spoils (and mistakes) of this brand new Stabrbucks drive thru! read more
