LAME!!!!!!!!! ************************** You're driving around San Jose in the middle of the night, the streets are deserted. Then out of the corner of your eye you see light. And movement. Whoah. Is that a Starbucks? Is it OPEN? Obviously the main appeal of this Starbucks is that it's open 24 hours. When I went here I was expecting it to be empty - instead it was packed full of people hanging out late-night. Mostly young hipster-type people with nowhere else to go at night I guess. Even the parking lot was full of cars and a large groups of these people just standing and talking. The crowdedness when everything else is closed is what makes it fun. That also makes it very loud on fri/sat nights, so probably not the best place for studying or working on things on those days. It's also just a solid Starbucks. Nice and big, clean, you know how it is. The baristas were visibly tired when I went, without the brightest demeanor, but they made an effort to be friendly. I guess that's the best you can expect when they have to work through the night. In a perfect world, every place would be open 24 hours. Note: It's sorta tucked back in a strip mall hard to see from the road, so you be careful or you might miss it, even at night. read more

The wifi at this Starbucks is terrible .. In and out slowly . But they changed up the seating so you can sit at counter now also, pretty neat. Inside if this Starbucks is always crowded though so you'll probably won't be able to do group work like most other Starbucks.. There is outdoors seating though, I always prefer inside. One bad thing .. there's a worker here, not going to name names but he is working today currently , He was stocking the baked goods display and "accidentally dropped" (totally on purpose) a cake pop and said "woops guess I have to eat it now" took a look around to see if anyone was looking and popped it in his mouth .. Good hours, nice staff, reasonably clean place without flies or anything hovering anywhere, and there are almost always enough seats that there's never a waiting game (at least not at ~9-10 AM). I feel like every table I sit at has at least 1 wobbly something. Either my chair or the other chair or the table itself wobbles. It's kind of getting on my nerves. read more

A quick stop here starting our drive down to Los Angeles. the ambience is just like any other. and my chai didn't taste like hot water. i can't complain. fast service is a key when i have some place to be. and this Starbucks had it. thanks a lot san jose. caffeinated me enough to get to SoCal in 5 1/2 hours flat. read more

Great customer service. I had a 50% off coupon that popped up in my Starbucks App. I tried using it at the Oakridge Mall location but the manager couldn't get it to work and told me to contact corporate. He didn't want to override the system or whatever. I went over to this location (across the street). The cashier couldn't get coupon code to work either. However, he just gave 50% off the Venti Iced Very Berry Hibiscus. What a great and refreshing drink. Customer service here is LEGIT. This is the definition of Starbucks. read more

This place has lots of seating inside and out. The problem with this SB is there is a clique of creepy middle eastern loiterers who seem to think this SB is their personal living room. They are here every time I come here, before I get here, and are usually still here when I leave as well and that's even when I'm here for 1-2 hours. They're here even when they seem bored; it's as if they just don't know where else to go or what else to do with their time. Another complaint is that the SB website states that this store closes at 12am but the staff closes it at 11am! I asked the staff this over the phone and got an apathetic reply along the lines of "yeah, it's been that way for a long time." The upside of this location is there is a more steady stream of customers at night than at other locations I've been at. It's more of a night spot than other SB's, and it's good for people-watching. That's why I considered giving this location two stars, but decided even that wasn't good enough. read more

This is your typical Starbucks that's located in a plaza filled with restaurants. There is some outdoor seating that is convenient on a nice sunny day. The service is ok and the drinks are on par with every other Starbucks I've been to. read more

Cozy comfy and free WiFi, what more can you ask for? Also great piping hot cocoa or coffee... Once i had them make my cocoa hot, it was warm, they were receptive and quick with a smile... I have never seen people here without a smile (the baristas and behind the counter) no matter how long the line they are still efficient and nice. read more

The only reason to go to this Starbucks is that it's three in the morning and you need that orange mocha frap. Otherwise it's your standard place. I gave it an extra star for being 24/7. Should try to stay away until about one or one thirty in the am. Before that it's a hotspot for the underage crowd. And they all congregate there and they're playing their music and taking up space and talking about whatever too loud. But even all that, the people there are pretty cool. Though sometimes they close the bathrooms up at around ten. Some jerk-off decided that he or she wanted to miss the toilet and get it all over the walls. Sucks. This is the second time at this Starbucks where I have encountered very rude treatment. It is not just the older lady who, by the way, the symbol of rudeness itself, we were treated poorly by another Barista, whose attitude leaves everything to be wanting. I've been going to this Starbucks for years, The staff has always been great even though we've had some change overs. Until now! The new crew there is the B team at best moving down the scale to C. People are lined up waiting for their drink. 10 cups waiting to be filled. Doing a mobile order is a joke. A few years ago I use to be quite the regular here. It'd be grande triple shot nonfat toffee nut lattes with extra whip every week (almost). There's really nothing bad I can say about the quality of Starbucks, it's pretty consistant wherever I go. The only thing bad I can really say about this Starbucks is that it's become extremely crowded, I mean more than it's ever have. For a short period in time this SB was open 24 hours (I though that was going to be really useful) and when they stopped those hours of operation, it still seemed as if people were going by those hours! You were open 24 hours and now you cut down to 1am. You always had a consistent supply of customers even at 3am. The numerous police and CHP was a relief that no one would dare jack us. However sometimes I didn't know the code to the bathroom, I would wait for the next person to come out. Your Ice tea was on and off, and sometimes you would get the order wrong it was okay because it was alright to drink. Hot chocolate was yummy too and you allowed us to bring snacks from Lucky's next door. You allowed me to bum Internet from le boulanger and I proudly did it every time. read more

Jk, well she really did, but I know it was all in fun (*BEGIN SEGWAY* The girl making the drinks accidentally forgot one that I ordered, the store manager who was on her day off quickly got someone else to make it. I told her "oh great, now I have to bash you on Yelp!" She said, "You better not and now you have to write a good review." So I am *FINISH SEGWAY*). I love their passion tea lemonades. They soothe my soul and I can guarantee as the weather gets hotter I will be there more and more. I never really liked Starbucks, it was all in principle. I generally prefer to support local coffee shops, but I like this one. The cashiers are always friendly, like to the point where they want to know who you are. It's nice. I use to be a regular here, after a short leave of the area they had restaffed, leading to my 2 star review. Walking in, and to the registrar there is no warm welcome, not even a friendly hello any more. Its ICE COLD in there, even as my drink was made, the staff was still cold. It was so dull I walked out more tired then I walked in. There are many other Starbucks with friendly staff in the area, utilize that fact. This was my last visit, before on a number of occasions the drinks were made so bad I had to walk back, and even now, the drinks aren't what they should, and I'm honestly tired of complaining. read more

used to be open 24/7...oh how i wish they still were i'm always here meeting with friends because it's still the closest place that is open the latest that we can sit and visit outside. the staff here is always nice, and usually don't make a fuss about smoking in the outdoor seating area when really you're not supposed to so close to the building. they even let us stay after closing once and we just put up the chairs and cleaned up before we left. everything else about it is pretty generic starbucks,. hopefully they'll be 24 hours again someday.... read more

The thing I like about this place is that its the only starbucks around here that's opened the latest. Unlike other starbucks around here, it's really big and it's a great place for studying! I don't like smaller starbucks because it's really compact and you can't concentrate that well, but here the tables and chairs are fairly spread out. read more

I stopped here on my way out of the bank, it was a hot day so I decided to get a mocha coconut frappe for me and my boo to share on our ride back home. I ordered, we waited, my name was called as the drink was ready and I told him to go grab it because I was too lazy to go get it. As he was getting the drink, my bf said "Thanks, boss." or something like that and the barista at the counter got all rude and said, "Don't call me that, I don't like people calling me boss. Blah, blah, blah." My bf, being quick witted, said something and we left with a laugh. We laughed it off, but I'm never coming back to this location. I came by once and asked for a decaf espresso drink and the lady even repeated to me in the order that it was decaf but I noticed that on the cup marking when I received my drink that it wasn't decaf. (Big tip: Pay attention to the legend as that's how you make sure your drink was made to your order) How is that the worker can say back the correct order but can't mark the legend on the cup correctly? Go fig. I used to work at Starbucks so I can relate that every now and then we'll mess up a drink but I never messed up a drink that I even called out correctly in the first place. I really want to give this another star but I have some qualms. First, service here is never rude but it's never really friendly here. They greet you, but never with much of a smile. There are several tables inside, but they are at times, taken literally all day by aspiring writers or whatever they want to call themselves. Lots of plugs though, which is always a plus. Parking can be tricky depending on the time of day. This location has a nice patio under two large trees, it's rather nice. However, this Starbucks needs to do some cleaning. There are cigarette buts everywhere outside on the patio. CLEAN that up, it's gross. Second, they've got two or three nice pots, but with DEAD plants in them. Seriously, how much would it cost to buy a few plants, and give them some water. Much better than looking at dead plants. Overall, this location has a lot of potential but the patio needs some TLC and the baristas need a little work on being more friendly. read more

This Starbucks has been my go to for homework and studying, I've never had a problem with a drink or an employee. Everyone is really nice and pretty quick. The only problem I have all the homeless people and obvious crackheads who come in without buying a drink and are either loud, stink, weird, and think this place is there home. Chargers and cables everywhere, play fort house club house with the tables and chairs. It should really be a standard to buy something AT LEAST, this makes for a really weird vibe and sometimes unsafe when these guys are in here together, you never know what's going to happen. read more
