This is one of my favorite Starbucks stores in Seattle. I have been there several times in the past couple of weeks. Twice I have been served by a barista named Pryor. This one is the worst. I have been here many times and will not be going back to this location. I ordered my usual a venti iced coffee with light creamer and half the amount of the normal sugar. The elderly lady at the register rudely said we don't put sugar in our drip coffee. WTF. Yes they do. We got the coffee and there was no creamer. Instead of them pouring some out and pouring creamer in they gave us a pup cup size of creamer to do it ourselves. Poor Customer Service. read more

On your way out of West Seattle you can either hit Starbucks for $4 coffee or Subway sandwich for $10! I'll take the java for some real fuel. Small location but very efficient staff of baristas. Always know what you want before you order. Only point of contention is all the lounge lizards who sit there all morning like it's there personal home. Really? I've been to this Starbucks many times and it is decent. The best part is they have a good parking lot and you can always get a space. The employees have always been nice and my drinks have been as expected. However, sometimes the line is crazy and it takes a really long time (especially since they get a lot of mobile orders). This location has a few tables and chairs, but I've never really felt like hanging out here. It just seems loud and not really comfortable. Of course, you can't really dine in these days because of Covid-19, but they are open for take out right now, which is nice. read more

My goto Starbucks for my daily doze of coffee! Theh have ample amount of parking in the back and it is a pretty big starbucks for folks to move around and social distance inside. I worked for Starbucks for 3 1/2 years. I know that customer service is one of the biggest focus' at Starbucks. However this location doesn't seem to understand that. At least a few women on staff in the morning don't. Lanetta particularly is always so rude, she looks angry with everyone unless she knows the person personally. She's normally barring in the mornings. The women at the POS taking orders always have an attitude if you have more than one thing to do or order. I don't understand what is so difficult about smiling and asking someone how their morning has been? Rather than making them feel like they're bothering you, and you could be doing something better with your time. They also don't re-check your order with you. So the last 3 times I've had to re-ask for soy in my drip at the end of the bar. Which I honestly don't mind. But I do at this location because I get cut off upon asking and told to 'hold on a second' (specifically by Lanetta) and it seems I'm yet again bothering them or wasting their time. I understand they're busy, because it's Starbucks. I'm upset because the service just isn't there, at all and there is no effort to make it happen. I have more to say but I just feel like I'll be nit picky at this point because I'm so disappointed. It honestly ruins my mornings coming to this location, and I don't know if I will be coming back anymore because of it. read more

I thought that all Starbucks locations hired super energized, cheerful, enthusiastic baristas, but this Starbucks has proved me wrong. Every time I go into this location, I'm met with a scowl, bad attitude and a barista that seems annoyed with my patronage. It would be easy to say there is just a bad apple in the bunch, but I've had multiple experiences with different baristas there that have been less than friendly. To the people who work there, I'm sorry I'm making your day worse by asking for more than one thing (more than one drink or a drink and a food item) and paying your company more money. But maybe you shouldn't work in customer service if you hate interacting with people so much. Also, the hours here are ridiculous, like someone else mentioned. Closing at 6:00 pm on a weekday?! Maybe they had to cut down their hours because business was slow due to the bad customer service. read more

Shout out to the staff at this Starbucks. I usually use mobile order for the convenience of replicating past orders and of course no line to wait in. Service is always pleasant, quick and the drinks good. Today was the first time something was off with my drink and they were so nice about remaking it. Lots of places to sit here and the WiFi is good. Every once in a while I enjoy working for a hour or so here instead of my remote office at home. Great experience every time we come in here (I read the other reviews about the attitudes here at the Fauntleroy location and was smh). It was great to see Dianne's and her awesome "hello!" to me when I got to the register. And you can tell who the regular customers are (like being at Cheers and waiting for Norm to walk in). The energy level may not always be at a-doing-somersaults but the team this morning was friendly. Sometimes I think our expectations are that everyone in an environment like this has to be very cheery. Courteous and friendly are great features of customer service but it doesn't have to feel like they have been drinking coffee and bouncing off the walls all day, even if it is a coffee shop. It's also about a team and a machine getting your orders done. read more

My first time here today and actually pretty disappointed with this Starbucks. Service was fine, nothing to complain about it. Can't say the same of the establishment, is one of the dustiest places I've ever been. Floor is as disaster with dusty and left overs of food on the corners. Under the tables is so disgusting and unfortunately I had to use the bathroom, of course I wasn't surprised when the bathroom was a disaster too, there was no toilet paper or any kind of paper in the bathroom. This to me is a typical Starbucks. They have a clean, sunny space to sit inside or out. They offer their full menu and they have a clover! Every time I have been in here the service has been incredibly slow and not super friendly. This is my neighborhood Starbucks, as in, its 4 blocks from my home and my go-to stop when I need coffee before work, after work, or on the weekends. So I frequent this store often. Here's what I observe: 1 - Morning crew is AWESOME. They are efficient and super friendly, and they get you in and out pretty quickly without feeling like you're being rushed. 2 - Afternoon crew... not so much. I don't know why, but they always seem preoccupied and my drink orders seem to take forever. I don't get it. Its much slower in the afternoon than in the morning, but its like they start slacking. Grrrr. 3 - Interesting crowd here. Mommies / kiddies. Businessmen/women coffee-breakers. Retired folks. And then the homeless / less fortunate smelly people. You really don't know what you're going to get. Overall, though, the store is pretty clean. 4 - Parking is usually pretty easy in the lot behind... but it can get a bit busy back there. At least its free and ample. No complaints. Love that they have a clover machine here, which pushes them to 3.5 stars overall. read more

I thought I'd add a positive review since so many people seem to want to hate here. The place is a Starbucks. I've probably been to (literally) 200 of them all over the country and no I don't work there. It's laid out well, properly staffed and up to Starbucks standards. People complain about the parking but there is a TON of lot parking and street parking around. The only thing I can think of is that the pedestrian nature of West Seattle has people holding a grudge against a chain coffee shop. I'd head to the Indie up the road, but far be it for me to want an egg in the morning. The staff are nice here and they have decent breakfast options. read more

This is a pretty good Starbucks store. But timing is everything here. Especially in the morning -- watch for when the Vashon Ferry pulls in and the place gets slammed. If there's no ferry run, the place is pretty manageable. Afternoons/evenings are a good time to go, too. Parking out back can fill fast, since there are other businesses in the building. Sometimes foraging for street parking can be worth it. Employees are great, and always seem to know everyone. Lots of places to sit, with a couple of larger tables for groups, if needed. read more

Its a Starbucks. Just like the one on the next block. However, this one's air conditioning is cranking. It's cold inside. That might not be a bad thing on a hot summer's day, but we haven't really had those yet in the PNW. I guess would make a hot beverage cool faster, which might be a bad thing. The barista's are friendly. There is a mix of comfy chairs and tables at which to sit. And in the back portion, there are games to play while you linger at the cafe (although my youngest kid reports that most are missing pieces). The drinks are consistently to Starbucks standard and the wifi is fast and free. read more

I like this Starbucks because it was renovated this year (2012) so it's all slick and up to date. I also like this Starbucks because there is parking in back! The servers are always nice, but not extraordinary so . . . This Starbucks has one of the weirdest vibes to it I've ever been in.The barista really took the time to listen to what I want and made me a chiller that she thought I would like and it was good. But unlike other Starbucks, they don't seem to know what to do after they have taken your order- picking up my drink I shot out an engergetic thanks! and smiled...and no response. It's just a little grimy in here, like it needs extra TLC. I wanted to just desperately wash the floor. It was gross. The bathroom had some "plumbing issues" shall we say, and wasn't very clean.
