I think new staff is the reason the rating has gone down on this location, but for me personally I loved this location & staff until recently I've noticed a shifts Employees are rude, spend too much time chatting while taking your order which causes mistakes, which is what happened with my order on 3/3 @ 3:00pm. I ordered a venti ice matcha latte with 3 extra classic syrup pumps. I was given an ice matcha latte with NO SWEETENER, & the matcha tasted like it had more water than matcha. I went back in, asked for a remake, explaining it didn't taste right, both staff just looked at me, walked away & pumped 2 pumps of classic syrup in a cup & handed it to me & said "this should make it sweeter", and walked away continued their conversation.. Once you make it into the shopping center, you'll see the small Starbucks packed with people because it's so small and parking difficult to find on a Saturday morning. Completely disappointed in the customer service from their food prep/manager. An older white woman with blonde curly/ frizzy hair. Probably in her late 30s /40s. We were the only customers in the store at the time, around 9:40am ish. I had ordered a bacon, sausage, egg wrap and the cashier had been having issues with our order already. But kept a smile on my face and moved on. When I finally got my orders it was an egg and sausage sandwich. I told this woman that there was a mistake, and she told me I didn't, I got what I asked for. SHE DID NOT TAKE MY ORDER SO NO, SHE DIDNT KNOW MY ORDER WAS MISTAKEN. She then took the sandwich and said she would take the sandwich off the order and make me repay for the wrap I was supposed to get. But there was already a line forming and my party was ready to start the universal rides. They messed up the order and still trying to make a buck out of their mistakes. She is the WORST. read more

This used to be my favorite to go to as they were one of the few that had a drive-thru close to me, but this time they messed up bad. The 1st order there was a gentleman that was so confused about my simple coffee. I had to remind him what it was when I reached the window. He still got it wrong. I HATE being that person that brings the drinks back so I usually try to suck it up. It's time consuming & risky, but unfortunately, i couldn't drink this one. I took it back & got a lady that seemed nice, but the drink she gave me had something gross I ended up swallowing at the bottom of my drink. I never come to this Starbucks and only stopped here because my go to location were having technical issues today. Placed my pick up order here on Sunday Oct. 15 at around 11. When I went up to the pick up counter i asked the baristas if I could have a little more creamer in my coffees. Before I could even say how much I'd like them to pour, the shift lead or manager (she was wearing glasses I believe) aggressively in a loud voice yells at me that if I want more cream it's going to be an extra charge. I don't know where the aggression came from her but it really made me feel uncomfortable I just took my drinks as they were and went to the Ralph's in the plaza to buy some creamer to add in myself. To make things worse the espresso tasted burnt as well, just an overall disappointment. Highly do not recommend this location unless you're okay with being yelled at in front of everyone like that. read more

The customer service here is great and they prepare my mobile orders on time. Also, they open early, so I can get my coffee at the crack of dawn. However, one big issue that I had with this place is that at the time that I visited, there were no charging outlets, and those that were there under the tables were not working. For someone who does business in mobile fashion and thinks that Starbucks is the best place to go to do your work all day, I was disappointed. Hopefully, in the future, they will have places to charge your phones and laptops, because people like me will gladly buy their food all day long to work there. :-) read more

So I walk into this particular Starbucks and there's no seating whatsoever. When I ask the server they said that they are going through a renovation. Fair enough, I'll take my order to go. When I asked if I could get the code for the restroom an employee told me it wasn't available. "Why? " I ask. "It's just not". I then asked to speak to the manager and he said the previous managers stopped allowing the public to use it and so they figured they would keep it that way. Wait a minute, isn't this the exact reason Starbucks got into trouble a few years ago?!....for not allowing their customers to use the restroom!! As soon as I arrived at my hotel in LA I did a quick search to see where the closest coffee shop was. It just so happened that it was this Starbucks which was about a 10 minute walk away. After settling in I was having a thirst so I decided to take a walk and check it out. This bux is a decent size and has a good amount of seats to sip and enjoy. It's not the largest I've been to but for a location that's clustered in a multi-retail type complex. I'm not a complex bux person, so my iced coffee with coconut milk was ready promptly. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant - and one thing I noticed was that all (or at least most) of the baristas were wearing hats; such California. Overall, I had a pleasant transaction at this bux. While it was nothing too outstanding, I got my coffee pretty seamlessly which is good enough for me. read more

Always a Pleasure to go to the Starbucks on Vineland and Ventura Blvd. Pleasant and Friendly Staff, clean location. Ample parking lot, but it still can be a pain to maneuver this parking lot. I prefer their underground parking very spacious. Only negative aspect is the homeless and nut jobs that congregate the area. read more

Stopped in after spending several hours sight-seeing in the area. The parking lot on the backside of this store makes this location easily accessible and apparently very popular. Although the restaurant was fairly full of customers the restaurant staff was very efficient and the orders were filled accurately, I didn't hear anyone complain about their order. I agree the place was a little dis-shuffled but the line of customers coming in seemed endless. The store is well laid out considering the amount of business this place has the entrance before the registers for ordering and an exit on the side near the counter where the products are delivered. The one unisex restroom seemed like an impossible task luckily we didn't have the need to use it this was really the only downside to this location in my opinion. read more

As Starbucks goes, this place seems a little subpar to me. It is a busy location but not the busiest I have seen. That being said the orders seem a bit slow to come up - even mobile orders. Mobile orders take about 15 minutes to fulfill. Sometimes I think I should just walk in and get in line. The counters frequently have trash and spills on it and the restroom is always in need of a good mopping or wipe down. Either the customers are slobs or there is not enough barista help to maintain the entire coffee shop. I have been in waiting for my order and seen only one barista making all the walk up and mobile orders while another works the register and another is stacking cups or something. Seems like they could use another person making drinks or something. read more

I think that I had the same barista as Vernonica J on 5/19/21 today! They charged my friend $1.65 for a refill and I waited outside (I can't wear a mask due to breathing issues from allergies this time of year. Since I am a Starbucks customer for 31 years (First store out of Seattle at the Beverly Connection in West Hollywood starting in 1990) and a rewards member and he is a casual customer I went in to investigate and the manager kept inisisting that I put on a mask before I could even address the issue and I told him that I wanted to correct an obvious mistake and would then immediately leave - but he became beligerant and kept insisting on the mask and when I REPEATED myself twice more and the third time with intensity in my voice to show that he was not listening to me (No, I did not raise my voice - I am a Military Veteran and have also been a Pastor, Conflict resolution specialist and corporate trainer for servers, bartenders and managers so I know "How" to make an emphasis that does not trigger someone but gets their attention. As I was again, politely telling him (not firmly at that moment) I was handing him the coffee refill (That took 8 minutes to make as they ran out) the manager grabbed the coffee from me and threw it into the sink and then grabbed the cup and threw it in the trash in angry jestures and then said that he was calling security and picked up a phone and started dialing. I was shocked, said nothing (but boy was I fuming inside) went back outside and grabbed my backpack and my friend followed me and said that he could not believe what he just witnessed. I called Starbucks Corporate Right away because that is not acceptable behaviour and I am visiting Starbucks less and less because I can see that they are hiring and perhaps training people that do not have the Starbucks Values that I had come to love and LITERALLY PROMOTE over the years. People who know me FOR YEARS would call me Mr. Starbucks because I was an Evangelist for the Experience - helped push for Food products and Rewards programs all the way back in the later 90's and early 2000's. I have been to Starbucks all over the country and in 4 countries in Asia and looked at Starabucks as my retreat - wherever I have been in the world and just wanted a taste and feel of home I would head to Starbucks - Seoul Korea - Makati, Eastwood City and Tagatay Philippines - Mexico and Starbucks in over 25 states! So I KNOW that Starbucks experience and this guy does NOT represent ANY experience that I have had previously. I was assured that this will be taken seriously and I believe that it will. This Guy may have a track record because it does not seem like this is an isolated incident with me. I just hope that he learns a good lesson and is careful how he talks and acts around customers. I understand the Mask mandates and propaganda very well and I respect people's unfounded fears - but that is not excuse for the communication and behavior that I experienced. On a positive note - one of the employees was embarassed by the manager and gave my friend back his $1.65 which I found out later. Good call - too bad I didn't get what I wanted and I'm glad that the hot coffee that he threw at the sink only splashed on the shield between us - otherwise I might have been burned with hot coffee that was just made and pored only minutes previously. The Worst Starbucks in my life. They're always rude, no matter whose working there. They have given the wrong drink or the wrong size on several occasions. Also, you have to be extremely lucky to get caramel in your caramel latte. Of all the 'bucks that i go to this one is one of the best. First of all: all of the Baristas understand and produce a superior version of what i order: a triple soy capp, dry. Yes, you would think that this would be a no brainer...but it isn't. This unit of Starbucks has for many years been at the top of the heap as far as i am concerned: and it does not only have to do with whether they can make my drink correctly. No they get most things right here. They are always in stock with what they offer as "add ons"...i.e. stuff out of the pastry case: pastries, wraps, sammies, juices. So whoever is doing the ordering is doing a primo job. I know that this is not an easy task and therefore whoever is doing this function is paying close attention to the details of ordering properly. Today i ordered my normal and a Barista who i have never seen before vocalized my drink order and produced one that was right on. So, on the surface this 'bucks is merely adhering to the tenets of good business practices: it is still special and unusual and i just might be in love with this joint. Cheers! read more

The most unfriendly staff I ever seen! They closed down the restroom with the retractable belts. When asked to use the restroom, her suggestion was to go to Ralph's which is on the other end of the plaza.
