Me and my friend come here often and they always treat us so well here! Jeff is an all star!!! He always greets us by name and remembers our order. (We possibly have a Starbucks addiction but that is besides the point.) my friend has a dairy allergy and they are very accommodating of said allergy. The drinks are made with love and any time we have ever had an issue with an order they have fixed it happily for us. I always have issues with this location. Once I mobile ordered and it took about 20-25 min to get my order. My my drinks always seemed rushed. I ordered a venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte this morning, light foam, light whipped cream, almond milk, extra hot and what I received was no foam no whipped cream, room temp and about 3/4 of the cup filled. And what looked like an attempt to a happy face but it was pretty sad to look at. read more

I come here all the time and the team is ALWAYS super friendly. I'm sure it can be stressful at times but they never let it show. Thank you all! The drive thru line can get long depending on the time of day but it moves fast. There is also a walk up counter if ya want to order ahead and pick up instead of waiting in the drive line. This one doesn't have any indoor seating but there are some tables outside. There's another Starbucks up the street on Magnolia & Lankershim with no drive thru, horrible parking, and is always so crowded - gives me major anxiety haha. I get a matcha here fairly regularly (used to) and I went in today without a wallet. I asked for just a cup of ice water so that I could stay hydrated and they are abysmal. Each person and the "manager" stated we will not give you ice or water unless you buy something. I explained to them I didn't bring my wallet this time but I come here all the time and just am requesting water literal tap water that cost you close to nothing. Have been coming to this location since it opened. Always had a love/hate relationship with this store. Recently, i've been coming in nearly daily to pick up my mobile order. The barista who's usually always at the window, Karina, is so accommodating and kind. I love how attentive she is to the window and making sure the customers are helped and given their drinks as soon as we arrive. I have visited a couple Starbucks locations where there's evidently customers waiting for their drinks at pick up station yet are waiting to be assisted. Im sure the time i come in is always their rush hour because it's the time when everyone's on their way to work and school. As a health care worker, i rely on my coffees to keep me up and energized throughout the day. The best thing about this location now is that my drinks have consistently been tasting yummy. Not sure if there's a new management here now but during the beginning of this year, i recall ultimately giving up on visiting this location due to the lack of flavor and constant issues i've had with this store. But i could definitely say the games been changed and it's doing better than ever. Thank you Karina, and the rest of the baristas at La Maida for consistently satisfying my experience here. As a reoccurring customer for years, i give my respects out to the baristas especially during this time of year with the holiday drinks and all. It's a very funny thing. Starbucks came along. They were very nice decent service but now the service is disrespectful, arrogant and incompetent. They're all in their little worlds having private conversations making customers wait because they really don't care. I can count on this drive thru Starbucks to be quick, friendly, and efficient. When I pull up and see a long, long line, it doesn't faze me because I know that line will move fast! Worst Starbucks location. I ordered a grande brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. Noticed the barista made it incorrectly & I had politely asked for a remake. Maggie their supposed manager comes to the window with attitude & goes on a back & forth fight about why my drink doesn't need to be remade. She then takes a tea shaker, pours the drink & shakes it angrily in my face. I still refuse to take the drink & ask for a remake as well another manager. She states there isn't another else & has a barista "remake my drink". As my remake is happened I notice the barista shaking the espresso until it turns into nothing but foam. Hands the drink to me & when I asked why she shook it for some long she states "to make sure you get that extra foam". I drive away pick up my drink & notice immediately cinnamon was added in (see attached picture) . A common allergen product.. I drive back up, walk up to the window, & ask for a refund. Their barista initially questions why I would order cinnamon in my drink if I didn't want it, I tell them I didn't ask for cinnamon to be added in I would just like a refund for the terrible experience. Another barista states Starbucks no longer does refunds only remakes. This is where my patients is lost. I tell them I will be contacting corporate for adding in an allergen product to my drink & for having rude employees as well as Maggie being a manager how ill her customer service is. I notice another woman walking to the window who proceeded to take her name tag off before speaking with me. She tells me the beverage does in fact come with cinnamon topping & if I order the drink often I should know. I repeatedly tell her to refund me but she refuses only wanting to "educate me" on the beverage. I tell her to give me my refund so we never have to see each other again & she ask if I am "mentally okay". I begin to call corporate & she then issues my refund (remember earlier I was told Starbucks doesn't do refunds). Ask she's refunding my order she ask if I will be throwing away my drink or do I need her to throw it away for me. I ignore this. Once the refund is done she hands me back my card only, I ask for my receipt & she states "I can't give you your receipt due to covid". I remind her that she had just throw away my coffee that had already been touch with my lips on the lid. She then rolls her eyes, tosses the receipt & says "fine if it matters that much to you". By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks. Coming from an old Starbucks barista I understand remakes are annoying but if a customer clearly sees their drink was made incorrectly... just do the remake.. & also a revenge on the customer should never happen let alone involve an ingredient that is harmful if one has allergies to it. read more

Another Starbucks has popped up in this square mile of NoHo. I'm a fan of Starbucks especially when there are drive-thru locations. I just find it remarkable that there are literally 3 all within .8 of a mile of each other. Camarillo and Tujunga is usually a pain to get in and out of for drive thru, and Lankershim and Magnolia doesn't have much parking. Soooo here we have another option. Drive thru is easy to navigate and service today was great with a smile. Orders came up quickly and I was on my way with out any fuss. I noticed the location. formerly the KFC, has plenty of outdoor seating in front and in back. About a dozen parking spaces if you are hanging out there and a walk up window for to go orders. read more

Yo this Starbucks saved my life today. I had 11 coffee orders for 11 different bosses (lol) and they were super patient, kind and made them so fast. I held up the drive thru for a moment and now know to just head inside for large group orders at this location. That seems obvious but I was panicking and in an urgent rush (for these 11 stupid people lol) so they were considerate enough to politely inform me. This place is more than just my local coffee stop in the morning. They are my emotional support system, my happiness consultants, and some of the overall most genuine people I've met in my life. This morning, I was lamenting about my recent heartbreak, and when I received my coffee, they wrote "you are amazing and appreciated" on the cup. I get it - I shouldn't be dumping out my problems to employees who deal with hundreds of customers a day. But these particular people have in a weird way, become my family. This has got to be the slowest Starbucks ever. It took forever to get my Frap at the walk up window. Cars on drive thru were buzzing in and out. My drink didn't even have chocolate syrup. I had to guzzle my drink before taking the bus back to the Red Line. This place is like Fort Knox. They buzz you into the restroom. You almost have to bust down the door for it to open.
