This Starbucks is nicely located with a cute garden and a water feature to sit around and enjoy the sunshine. Not being a Starbucks snob, but a regular nonetheless, I have always found the staff to be polite and efficient. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, any more seats and it would look cluttered. It has a really nice vibe and there is Pizza and a Bank right next door. The wiFI works great, never failed me yet not has the service or the fayre! Give it a shot - haha! you wont be disappointed! read more

I'm not sure what's been happening here the past couple of years. It has really gone downhill. However, I have to toot the horns of Laura and Andrew. If the two of them work together my order is never messed up. But, if anyone else get's involved, my order is never correct. I actually had an employee give me major attitude when I asked him to make sure with the person making my drink that they would remove all foam. Now, I don't think I should have to ask that after they write it on the cup. Unfortunately, if I don't double check it with the person making my drink, guess what? Foam! Once, they had to remake my drink 3 times, because they made it wrong every time. Not just foam, but the wrong drink as well. I've had so much trouble getting a drink I like there that I have huge reservations about going back again. When I have to ask to remake a drink, because I didn't pay $6 to get it made wrong, I feel like a jerk. Getting a coffee should't be a stressful experience where I wonder what I'll end up with this time. Especially when I order the same drink every time! Recommendations for this location? Have Laura and Andrew train everyone. They're the only one's who know what they're doing there! On top of that, they go above and beyond to be friendly and know their regulars. read more

Legitimately the most drab Starbucks I've ever visited. It feels like you just landed in the Twilight Zone. It appears that all of the barristas are on a Prozac drip to crush any discernible personality they might have had. You'll get your drink, from one of the living dead. read more

Every time I have gone here the wait is insane. They've messed my easy drink up on numerous occasions. The staff has always been rude and acted like it was an inconvenience when I've ordered. I've always been polite but never felt welcomed here. I prefer coffee bean over by CVS. They are all so nice and welcoming and get the drinks out super fast! I've been to much better Starbucks. This one feels chronically understaffed--whether it's because they just have slow workers or lack a sense of urgency or are actually understaffed, I don't know. The queue at 6:30 am is painful, and that's when they should be moving for their rush. If you show up around 3 pm, it's crowded with school children, and the staff really couldn't care less about moving them along. Most of the drinks are prepared okay, but rarely impressed. The one time I called ahead to place a take-out order for a to-go coffee, they forgot about it until I showed up. Seating outside is really nice in a little enclave with a fountain. But most of the time, I've moved to other locations because this one just doesn't cut it. read more

Just ordered my coffee at the Starbucks. It's really nice to be treated in a very polite and respectful way. I received this at the Starbucks in Thousand Oaks. Great as all Starbucks as far as product. Gets soooooooooooooo busy on Saturday mornings and people are crapping their pants when they have to wait, plus there is not a lot of standing room, which makes for a very tense situation. S is getting real in Thousand Oaks. read more

This is my least favorite Starbucks. It is a kid hang out. Always noisy and no one ever tells these kids to quiet down or behave. They aren't always ordering just hanging out. Swearing, playing games I love kids but don't think unaccompanied young kids should ruin Starbucks. They are always out of something. Just now no caramel cocoa cluster. I do not even drink coffee but my husband complains to me all the time about this Starbucks. I hope this is the correct one. It's on Arboles. I decided to go with him and he is right...The worst service ever. The employees are on their phones, not paying attention...The lines are so long...even for just a cup of regular coffee. Everytime I come in here me and my boyfriend are helped by Debra and EVERY SINGLE time she has gotten our simple orders wrong. She writes them wrong, she looks flustered, she's super slow with the register, she asked us to repeat our orders multiple times. She must be new but at a certain point it's bad customer service... I understand this is a hard, fast paced job but if you can't do it then why work there. We're fed up at this point. We won't be going to this Starbucks in the future, instead we will be going out of our way to go to a different one. Everyone else who works there is great and fast and friendly. First time here! Well not so good I'm sorry to say. Was first in line ordered the sausage egg cheese muffin with a small mild cup of the day! About ten people came in after me. After about 20 min and no one else in line i ask where my order was! They forgot Ugg!!! They gave me a soy milk with a blueberry muffin! This used to be a great Starbucks with a good vibe. But for the past few months every time I have been helped it was by Debra and my and my son's simple orders have been taken incorrectly. At first I just thought she was new and would get the hang of it soon enough. Then I had the unfortunate time of witnessing her yelling at a fellow employee which was very unprofessional. The final straw for me never returning to this location was while waiting to order a young family was placing their order. The little girl in the family did not know the name of the drink she wanted and was trying to describe it to Debra, but she was so mean and short with this little girl, that the girl was nearly in tears. Thankfully a nice young man, came to the girls rescue and was able to immediately identify that she was trying to ask for a vanilla bean frap. As I was waiting for my drink to be made, I heard the other family saying they would not be back and I have to say after this incredibly upsetting incident neither will I. read more

I ordered and paid for two traveler boxes of coffee a day ahead of time. When I came in to pick it up at 6:15 am on my way for a meeting I was told "Well, no one left us a note, it's not ready." And I would have to wait 15 min. for them to make it. This is absolutely inexcusable. When this place is nearly empty, it can be a very pleasant atmosphere inside but for the constant chattering and noisy gossip of the female baristas, usually about other members of their team, poor corporate practice and management training/oversight. Unfortunately though, most of the time this location is an extension of selfish people' living rooms who think that the public is a playspace for their misbehaved children whom they ignore during their droning housewife gossip as they ruin your attempt to have a nice enjoyable time. (Screaming, running around, standing on chairs, leaving a mess behind) Seating is sparse and typically very dirty and not well-maintained. Generally poor furniture selections for the space (sbx corporate at fault here) The outdoor area is very nice for the most part although rarely cleaned. Some of the staff is great ask for Andy Derek or Michael if you want your drink made properly and a pleasant customer experience. Staff Is heavily rotated and constantly turning over and they are currently under new management so maybe things will improve, after a while you get tired of hearing people complain about their jobs when you're paying 25,000% markup for a cup of coffee. Potential to impove. The new management has not made a difference and has not improved this location. read more
