This is one of the busiest Starbucks through out most of the day. But you would expect to be waiting forever for your drink right? Actually they have the best employees and the fastest baristas working there to full fill your needs and satisfy you. They are the friendliest and quickest people you'll ever see! They did a great job remodeling this place. The staff is super friendly. If you keep ordering the same food and drink, they definitely remember you and they start working on your order as soon as you get into the store! It is overall clean and a pleasure to get some coffee and food. read more

If you get your customized drink and also ask for iced water, they will tell you they can only give you a Grande size or smaller. If you ask the Starbucks workers why, they'll say it's their store policy. I've been to other Starbucks locations, but I was never told that. I felt like I was almost confronted with the policy. It's Starbucks; the menu is fairly standard, whichever one you go to. It's got a good amount of seating, large tables, and you're not crammed together, which is always nice. I used to come here because I grew up a mile away, but I've outgrown it now because, as an old geezer, customer service matters to me now. I read a review about how a customer here felt they were almost "confronted" by the Starbucks policy of only giving out water grande size or smaller. It made me laugh because along with my Starbucks purchase today, I asked if I could have some of their disposable paper cups. I'm getting married next week, and I wanted to draw on the cups (you know, that trend of people getting "bride," "groom," etc., on their Starbucks cups the day of their wedding, but I wanted something more personalized and time-consuming, and as mine is a morning wedding, I wanted to do the drawings beforehand). I kind of felt "confronted" as well with "We don't just GIVE them away," especially since the cashier was fine with it, but the manager cut across her. I couldn't even ask if I could pay for the cups, because the manager had already moved to the other side of the store. She did say that she was okay with giving me "a" cup, but she wasn't making eye contact, so that wasn't terribly convincing. That's fine. I've been to cafés which didn't have a problem with giving us cups, or if they did, they were nicer about it. I'd rather take my business there. (But seriously? They're disposable cups. How is this much different from having free napkins that people grab a pile of? And I'd have been bringing the cups back in for getting my drinks anyway, so what would you really have lost? In fact, you were guaranteed drink purchases. However, if I can't get a cup, I'd rather swing by my favorite Indian place for chai the morning of then.) Also, my drink wasn't called. I went to check on it after several people who came in after me walked back out with their drinks. +++++ Edit: Got cups from the Starbucks across the street from Topanga Mall without any hassle. read more

i come here most often because it's the closest one to my house. the only times i stay here for long periods is when i need to study. they have a bunch of outlets lining the wall every few feet, a huge table that seats 6-8, and then smaller handicap table, 6 more small circle tables, and then 6 more sofa chairs by the windows. it's usually extremely packed in the morning, people just sitting and talking, no room for studying. it's better during lunch or evening time. the location of this starbucks is nice, you have a pavilions next door, a bunch of restaurants, fast food places, library everything. The workers here are also extremely nice and funny. read more

Pretty busy in the morning the sometimes the staff is nice other times they seem uninterested but the coffee is always good so that's a plus

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I ordered 3 coffees. Nothing overly complicated. The barista didn't write the orders down. When I pick it up, they completely didn't make one drink and the other was totally wrong. When I ask the barista, she's very rude, doesn't make eye contact so I didn't even know if she was talking to me, and has the worst attitude I've ever seen. I never write bad reviews...I am in hospitality so I know it gets irritating reading bad reviews but the management staff at this location needs to know that Jennifer needs some serious customer service training. She is rude and has a poor attitude. Don't want to get into details but she needs to learn how to communicate professionally with customers....leave the attitude at home. I like to study a lot here. It's clean, and there are outlets available. The staff is courteous. You might want to stay away during afternoons during the school year since it will get crazy busy with the local high school kids dropping by. read more

McDonald and Starbucks have alot in common more then people realize, one thing is that the classics stay the same, I used to go to this Starbucks daily, as a senior that attended El Cameno High, back in 06' I always had a great start to my day with a high energy feeling, that Jay the Manager, Cynthia the Assistant, Cody the best drink artist in the world and Kat/Catherine (Never quite got her name) would make me feel. If Jay and Cynthia were not picking on each other, they would pick on the customers in line, it made you laugh and reduce the feeling of waiting in line for such a long time. 9 out of 10 time Cody would have your drink made before you even got to the registrar, and Kat and Cynthia had you rung up in a blink of a eye and Jay always made sure your day was going well and you got what you needed. Now that I have returned from NYU I was surprised to find something never change the old men were still out front trying to solve the worlds problems, the group of ladies who reminded me of a group of sisters at thanksgiving, lots of hugs, food and bitching at each other, to my big suprise I went into the store got in line and when I got to the registrar Cynthia looked at me and said to me "I know you", I reminded her who I was and she let out this big YELL, she remembered my drink she gave me a big smile and I went on my way. To my surprise Becky the store manager came out from the backroom to see what was going on and then returned back to the backroom, I guess something never change, I would give Cynthia a 10 star if that was allowed but now the store only get a 3. read more
