With a bevy of people meeting up there, writing scripts or watching the constant flow of patrons...I swear they are the same people there no matter what time I go (they're probably thinking the same thing about me!) They never have good energy in this store and I've been here a couple of times and each time it's the same. No one really greets or smiles, and they're typically rude. I was literally the only person standing for a few minutes while tow employees were just behind the counter not doing much, just talking and doing other small things and no one cared that I was waiting. I didn't say a word because I thought maybe they're busy and I should be patient, but that didn't work. A sweet nice lady named Becky, with a really cool fun butterfly hat, came from behind me and asked me if I was helped and I said no actually, she apologized even though it wasn't her fault because she wasn't even behind the counter. I really appreciated her gesture though, she made sure they took my order finally. The guy behind the counter and the girl who rang me up at the register, don't wanna put their names here because I don't wanna be mean, were extremely rude. The guy was taking his SWEEEEETTTT TIME and my drink was the only drink he was making, there was no one else around. He didn't even say hi, or smile. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was gonna walk himself to his own execution right after he made my drink . And the worst part of all this is that my drink sucked as much as their attitude, watery and tasteless. I love this location and the actual store, but the employees need to be nicer and efficient. This is the closest Starbucks location for me, so I feel as though I've got a pretty solid idea of this particular store. They very recently remodeled, which is nice. The store feels a bit more open this way. There's general consistency in the drinks, as well, which has always been a contention of mine in coffee. Hey, sometimes I drink it black, and refried beans belong only in my cuisine, not my coffee. The reviews about the crowd are right, though. I stop in this location weekly for my Saturday morning coffee. I usually use mobile order and pay, and the team always has my order ready or near ready when I arrive. This place gets very busy, so mobile order is the way to go unless you don't mind a wait in line. There is lots of parking in the private parking lot, some outside tables, and the typical space inside for sitting and enjoying your coffee or working. I find the staff here friendly, overall. The reason I gave this Starbucks one star is because they have a policy of no smoking but allow the same group of older gentleman to sit outside and smoke everyday. I actually had two rewards to use today, a birthday and lucky dozen, so I was that obnoxious person trying to max out my freebies. The girl at the cashier was so nice though! Wasn't sure if you can use a reward on the fancy bottled juices, but you can! She was really sweet to say, "Let's try!" when I asked about it. Ever since Starbucks became enamored with their online ordering customers they began treating walk-in customers as a nuisance. It is customary to see 3-4 workers chatting while tending to online orders while in-store customers are pushed to the end of the line. This particular store is perhaps no worse offender than your average Starbucks. Note to manager: If customers are routinely looking for chairs in your patio area, you may want to add a couple of chairs to the total of eight chairs for your five tables. This is my go-to Starbucks in the area. The staff is super friendly even when the store becomes crazy-busy. They are always willing to redo a drink if it's not done correctly and they are very patient with all customers. I think the store is well managed and concerned about the customers. It's true that during peak hours the store can be packed with in-store customers and there's a line-up of mobile orders. But, from my experience the staff responds as quick as possible to handle the orders. And, I appreciate the fact that they can still great me with a warm welcome and a smile. This Starbucks location is simply one of the best! They always make my drink rather quickly and correctly. However I did have a rude barista giving me a hard time for getting a refill with my gold-card. It clearly states you can get a refill of any iced drink with a purchase of a Venti or Trenta and he told me since the cup was dirty he couldn't do it. Anyways he ended up giving me a new cup saying that's the last time he'll do that. Whatever, doesn't matter. There was one other instance where my drink was made and ready in the far corner and I noticed it for about 15 minutes when I finally said "my drinks been made and ready for a while" can I please have it? The girl looked at me and said whoops and handed it to me. A simple mistake which in-turn made me late. Today, my son's drink took more time than usual, we did not order via the mobile app but when he asked about his drink, a server picked up a cup fr the mobile area and handed it to my son and off we went. He realized it was the wrong order when we got to school. He told me this after I picked him up after school. This is my go to Starbucks. I know they have Starbucks in every 5 mile radius, but the customer service here is always amazing. I went in tonight at 9:26, the close at 9:30 and even coming in just a few minutes before closing, they did not diminish their customer service. The girls were very sweet about it. I apologized and ordered just tea so I wouldn't be in their way. The barista actually thanked me for being considerate. I appreciated that and the friendliness. I come here about 4-5 times a week, it's kind of sad cause I think everyone knows me and my order haha. But it seems like they take their time trying to make me experience pleasant which is why I continue to choose this Starbucks over the others in the area.
