So they made a mistake on one of my orders and forgot to add pearls to my drink. When I asked about it and the guy at the front taking drive through admitted they forgot and said they would remake it. But when the girl who was "remaking" my order decided that I have not tried my drink and without asking just poured the drink in one of their shakers and added the pearls and pour it back into the original cup used to hold my drink. Luckily I didn't try the drink yet or else I am worried about the customers after me. This makes me wonder how sanitary this Starbucks is. When I go to Starbucks they usually just remake my entire drink and ask if I'd like to keep the old one. This is not the usual way of defining "remake." I explained I always order and would be doing so shortly, but she cut me off: "Before you camp out in my lobby, you'll need to buy something--maybe a $1.95 string cheese. And if you haven't purchased in the next five minutes, I'll have to ask you to leave." That one interaction was insulting, unnecessary, and flat-out hostile. I understand and respect the policy--of course customers should order. But I've never been treated like a trespasser while being a loyal, paying customer. I usually get Starbucks from here out of convenience and the service is typically good. However, last week I came in and ordered a venti coffee and it was supposed to be black with no cream or anything. Not sure what went through this Barista's mind, but she ended up adding milk or whipped cream to the coffee and never mentioned anything. I didn't find out until after I got home. By then, it seemed like it was too late to say anything. Please don't add anything that was not specially requested on the order. Especially milk when you don't know if someone who paid for the drink is lactose intolerant or anything like that. read more
