Amazing service, but the atmosphere and food was not great. Chicken tenders were warm on the outside and piping when I bit in. They actually burnt my fingers. Table said pulled pork sandwich was good. Limited menu unless you want a burger and salad. Beer wasn't great either. read more

We wanted a table for eight and the hostess put us in a big booth they could've accommodated eight kids but not seven adult men and one female. A waiter allowed us to switch tables. The menu is very limited but there are plenty of televisions (it's a sports bar!!!). I had the Caesar salad with chicken and it was really good and plentiful. I'm not a local, so this was a one-time stop for me during a busy exhibition at the GWCC. We were thankful to get a table and the restaurant was clean. The beer list was pretty good. I have to say though, the service was top! Our server was great but even other employees ( bus boy) always asked if they could do anything for us when they passed. You can find STATS Brewpub at 300 Marietta St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313 just up from the College Football Hall of Fame near Centennial Park. Speaking of park, the parking situation around this area basically sucks - you'll have to pay - your best bet is to leave your car in one of the nearby decks or take MARTA and walk around to several nearby things-to-do. I knew nothing about STATS prior to being invited to attend a private event during DevNexus held by Object Frontier (shout out to those guys for doing this right). I initially entered downstairs in the main bar and then traveled upstairs to a private event space where there was food provided by STATS along with beer, both on tap and in bottles. I've since come in a couple of times and have had their brewed beer (this is a real Brewpub that offers up a few taps of whatever they happen to be brewing). First the food - I've only eaten what was catered so probably not the ideal experience. I found it pretty generic but filling - for technology groups there's generally a lot of vegetarian options and that was the case here with hummus and pita chips, crudites, etc. They also had nachos and chicken wings that seem to be pretty good (no idea what they are on the menu so there may be a separate catering menu). On my initial visit I had a Kostritzer Schwarzbier black lager and a Paulaner Hefe-Weizen that were both pretty good. Since then I've had a couple of their own brews: Slug Nutty Imperial New England IPA - I liked this quite a bit - pretty awesome hazy DIPA from STATS. Citrus, juicy and a bit of hops, just like I like with great mouthfeel. Ryes Up Rye IPA - More IPA than not, good rye nose and a clean finish. The service both during the event and in subsequent visits has been very good. At some point I'll come back with a group and try more of the food options. This is the only downtown brewery currently so if you're looking for options and staying near the park, this is a pretty good one. (Also posted to my restaurant and brewery blog) read more

I think I've been here about 3 times? And every time it's a disappointment. The food is always bland, unfortunately the service is always just okay and sometimes pretty poor. It's just such a bummer because this place could be so good and a really cool spot but it is just not it. This last time I went I got a burger with a side salad. There was raw beef on my salad I got the wrong dressing. The coleslaw that came with others dishes had no sauce, it was just raw cabbage. But hey...the beer and the fries were fine? I want to like this place so bad because the location is so good especially next to the college football hall of fame building, but it's needs some serious new management and some remodeling to make it more sports themed. Went here for lunch and dinner. Dinner because they hosted the greet and meet for our organization. They have a full bar selection including a decent beer listing. Their menu is adequate but your limited in selection. Most of us had the chicken club which was awesome and contained nearly a pound of meat. Those that bought the double burger we're satisfied. Our server though very friendly was not very attentive. One of our party ate his Cobb salad completely without getting the dressing that was asked for before starting and another asked for more blue cheese for wings that never made it's way. The food was good just lacked the sides. TV's everywhere for watching your favorite sports. One block from our hotel which was a big plus. They also have seating on the rooftop as well. read more

The horrible part of our meal was the service. Our server didn't remember our orders correctly. He came back to ask clarification after not writing it down and didn't write it down again. THEN- our order still came out wrong. The server promised a discount but that was forgotten also. Our drinks were recorded on our tabs as different drinks and we were told the drinks listed were the "same price". This place really could be a cool space with the right energy. Great sports bar! We went around 5:30 and were told it would be a 35 minute wait, but it ended up only being around 10 minutes! Great alcohol selection and many TV's to watch sporting events. This is the place to go when visiting ATL. Not only was the atmosphere of the place super cool the food was INCREDIBLE. The rooftop bar was a lot of fun and they had heaters out since it was cold. We stayed on the rooftop and ordered apps and drinks while we waited for our table to be ready. Our server was great and got our food and drinks to us quickly. Pretty similar to other sports themed restaurants. TVs, beer, wings, and other bar food. But, I thought it is a bit nicer than a Buffalo Wild Wings like sports bar. I enjoyed our short visit, and here are some of the positive things. Location, location, location. A short walk to Mercedes-Benz stadium and other sport venues. Also, we were able to park in a public deck that was adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant was very crowded prior to the big football game. Thankfully there was a beer station strategically located inside the entrance. A trip to the bar would have been a challenge. The place seems pretty new. The layout and decor was.current and clean. Nothing too different from other establishments, just your average sports bar. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was OK, once again nothing super special about it, just a wrap. The fries were pretty good though. Their sweet tea though on the other hand was awesome. I think I drank like 4 glasses of it. You defiantly have to get the "house wine of the south" when you are in the south so I swapped out the beer for a sweet tea. Good choice indeed. read more

We came here late on a Saturday night for a pre-game party and it was great. First off, the space is huge. There are multiple levels, including a huge roof top deck and bars to service each area. There are also multiple doors and an elevator if you need it. The party was in a private space, but we pretty much took over the entire place. There was no seating open in the party room so we put our name in for a table and waited about 30 minutes for our party of 4. Our server was amazing and was handling so much as we watched him go from table to table. The menu is your typical bar food, but the quality of ingredients is a notch above other places. We started off with the pretzel and it was good. The burger patty on my burger tasted like real meat and my only complaint is that the wings need to be a bit crisper for my taste. They handle the large crowds well here and the wait times quoted are true to form. read more

Most conflicted review I've written in a minute honestly. Let me start off by saying I had the chicken Caesar, which tasted great. However, I'd be remiss not to mention it was my first meal of the day at 3pm. To keep it simple, basic sports bar. Plenty of TVs to watch whatever game or even you might be going for. Very limited parking so budget in at least $10-$20 per car. The Caesar salad was great, the chicken was basic (grilled in oil, good seasoning) and the dressing was great as well. It was also tossed perfectly so that's a plus. The menu was super limited, almost like a specialty restaurant, but it was just all the basics. Where they lost me was the piss poor service. We were served by like 3 different servers, who really didn't know what we asked for they had to keep asking. Our food was brought out before the water, and so was my margarita. The drink was pretty standard as well. We had to flag down servers anytime we needed something and literally had our food 10 minutes before we even receive our water. Came here after the Hawks game. right down the street from the arena, maybe 3 blocks walk. We had a few beers, cocktails, and some had food. The Technical Foul cocktail is where its at. FOOD + DRINKS: Really hoped this place would awesome because they make their own beer. And although the beer was strong how I like it and refreshing the food was just ok. I will never understand why most bars and breweries most have meh food. My BUFFALO WRAP was good, the chicken was hot(spicy) and tender. I usually don't go for that but I was not in the mood for anything else on the menu and I saw what my friends were having and it did not look too great. I am also all about great fries and unfortunately they do not have great fries. SERVICE: Our server was fantastic! But, the hostess NOT SO MUCH. I got there with my kids... an 8 year old and a baby which was in his stroller. My friends were at the rooftop and the hostess literally asked me if I needed to take my baby up in the stroller. He took me to their employee elevator (which was in the kitchen) to the second floor then wanted me to carry my stroller to the roof top area. I told him..."should the restaurant not be wheelchair accessible?" And so he remembered he had an elevator for customers but still had no access to it. BAD ONE this can shut down a business real fast. Overall my experience was.... This place was too loud, we were barely able to hold a conversation over the loud speakers.
