Bunch of young people who do not know what they're doing and obviously they do not care. Staff was rude when I was paying my order Waited in the front line for over five minutes just to find out I could pay at the opposite end of the restaurant. The food is burnt to an absolute crisp. Why even bother taking I preferred levels of doneness to the meat when it's all going to be scorched anyways. Overall not worth the close to $70 worth of food is it all to be trash. Been waiting 20 years to go to this place unfortunately I was very disappointed. It's very dirty. They have duct tape on the seat and if you look around pay close attention, you'll notice everything is dirty. The trays that you they serve you in .dust everywhere. It's just a dirty dirty place. I would not recommend eating here just blown away that the city inspectors health department has not been to this place. They need to shut them down. Was looking for a good steak on NYE. We stumbled upon the Steak Corral. The food was excellent. We ordered a porterhouse steak and chicken breast. The steak was made to perfection as was the chicken. The baked potato and salad bar was simple, yet perfect. The price for the entire meal with alcoholic beverages included was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back. I'm not sure how this place got five stars on any review our states were awful they were gristle and chewy and appeared to have been chewed up before they even fried them they were not by least far a good steak at all. The mixed vegetables were overdone and soggy and our baked potatoes were small the potato bar is just basically the toppings you want on it and the steak was grilled onions mushrooms and grills bell pepper to your liking. The grilled cheese bread was awful it had some kind of coating on the opposite side of the bread that was not appealing nor tasty either everything lacked flavor and I mean everything. I will probably never come here again most likely. Not sure how they've stayed in business with these kind of steaks but I'm very sure Sizzlers would have been a excellent choice for a cheap steak, just came to try this based on the reviews and no I will not post any pictures because it wouldn't do it justice. read more

I love this place. I admit it's not for everyone because this is old school dining. You walk in, wait in a small line look up and order your food pay and find a spot to sit down. Just like Disneyland it's not rocket science it's not a fancy spot either, It's casual dining you get good food for what you pay and it's fairly quick. Just walked into this steak house, its very different then i expected, me and my family came in and it was a dimly lit place. There was a line of about 6 people and when i looked around, it was self serve for appetizers, i thought it would have been a sit down and order place, its nice i mean you pick a steak that comes with cheese toast and 2 sides, the waitress just wrote whatever we told her down and didn't really welcome us, the self serve bar seemed clean but had a lot of spilled water and food on it, i just got water from a waterThe tables seemed clean just felt a little sticky. I ordered fries and a ribeye steak and it took about 15 minutes to arrive to the table. The steak was pretty smoked around the edges but the middle was tender, but i did have to add some extra salt due to a slight lack of flavor, overall Smokey and tender, i ordered a steak and got a steak, nothing special. Food used to be good, but the last 2 times was horrible. The 1st time, I ordered the New York strip and I dont know what that was. Every bite was mush, like someone chewed it and put it back together. Then the most recent trip, I had the Rib Eye and that was cooked to the fullest on the outside but deep red on the inside. I sent it back, and it came back perfectly but then as I tried to cut it, it was very difficult , There was alot of clear stretchy stuff throughout, almost like glue or slime. Unedible. They also have teriyaki sauce, butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, little chilis and more. Love it! The salad is also self serve and they have toppings for that as well. My favorite is their blue cheese dressing. Drinks are also self serve. The baked potato was served nice and hot. I added some butter and cheddar cheese. Yum! Ate here a few days ago. First time since the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic we would come about 3-4 times a year. To put it simply it is rustic and in need of some updates and a bit of love. The food to me is great. I come for the Beef. You walk in line up and order. You get two sides with your meal for me it's always side salad and a baked potato. The main Dish is always a Steak. I got a NY Strip Steak 12 oz cooked medium. I got it the way I ordered it. Cooked over a Wood grill and the taste is simple steak over fire. You pick up your side salad after you order in a cafeteria style line and build your own simple side salad. I have found the veggies to be fresh. You get your drink and pay. Did I forget you get a quaint little table marker to identify you with an old western character name. I got Billy the Kid. We sat down they bring you your meal with you potato and they have a bunch of fixings for you potato or steak etc. I get the basic butter, sour cream and chives for my potato and eat my steak as is. It has not disappointed yet. Again I forgot to mention the price for the steak about $20. You would think you would be eating an inferior steak? Nope the meat has great flavor. On occasion maybe a little salt needed but I tend to go light on it myself. Please note I have eaten at steak places like Morton's and this place although not to that level for the price it is a fantastic deal. The ambiance is good the service as well. Much of the service is self service. Dang I am getting old. They give you a piece of cheese toast too. Soooo Good. The couple we went to eat with noticed the ice cream and then the pie. I had not had them until this time and well they got me. Apple Pie a la Mode. Very good ice cream and the apple pie was very very good. I went to this steakhouse for the first time today looking for a reasonably priced, delicious steak. I was not disappointed with this. There were a few things they could improve on, though. When I walked in it was dimly lit and there was a big chuck wagon looking thing on the right. There was no stand or greeter at the door. I saw people loading their plate with food, so I thought it might be a buffet? When I started walking towards the chuck wagon, a small girl dressed in black said "You have to order here." Oh, my bad, didn't see her or the menu hanging above her head. Maybe a greeting would be a nice touch? We tried to order a ribeye, and were told they were out of it. We asked what steak she would suggest, and she told us a NY strip or NY cut. We quickly ordered them because there were people behind us. We were told to skip the salad bar because we didn't order salad, and walk down the chuckwagon for drinks. They had the usual fountain drinks with ice you had to scoop with a big spoon. The cash register to pay was at the end of this "wagon". There were tip jars for the waitresses there as well. Tipping before you got served, didn't sit well with me. I didn't put anything in because so far the service was weak in my opinion. We looked around and since no one directed us to a table, we found one and sat down. The table was freshly wiped. Our food came out in about 10 minutes. The waitress dropped it off and hurried away. It looked good and was hot. The steak was cooked as we ordered and delicious without anything. The cheese bread was big, but not worth the calories, because it was hard and chewy. I realized I was missing my onion rings. I had to ask three different times before they brought them out at the end of my meal. The waitresses were pretty scarce as well. I ordered a baked potato, which was good. The condiments were at a separate bar. They had a decent variety, and they kept it well stocked and wiped down. The scoopers could've been cleaned more regularly, the handles were pretty caked on when I got there, so I hope I don't get sick! They had some toppings that looked like there might have been for soft serve ice cream, but I didn't see any. Overall, the food/price was good, but my biggest complaint was the service and lack of directions. I would go back again, since I "trained" myself on how this establishment works! read more
