This was the first time that I had been to this Steak and Shake cuz they had a promotion going on I didn't know how to use the machine the manager actually came out and helped me and she did everything for me and show me how to do everything very personal and was able to have all the customers around me at the same time it was quite a few people in here but she still took the time to help me and took the time out of her day and she did it with a smile all the employees seem to have Smiles in their faces and it was a very clean restaurant and very organized I would definitely be back I would definitely highly recommend it it's the one right off Telegraph read more

Did an order here through the app and the order came quickly but was completely wrong, having toppings I didn't want on my burger and toppings I did want missing from my burger. I called to complain and when the lady who answered said she was the mgr was told what had happened, she said I must have ordered it wrong.... When I used my saved favorite order. I've been here twice. The first time I walked in and was very rudely informed I couldn't order in the restaurant. I get that covid is serious, and frankly I applaud Steak 'n Shake taking this seriously, but there are nice ways to tell people the rules and ways that are dickhead. I received the latter. Went here for a TON of food because I'm pregnant and all the baby wants are only things they can provide. I expected horrible customer service and for there to be long lines since almost every location is shut down but NO. I went through the drive thru and was helped by the most patient worker. We went after a Blues game, which is what we tend to do here since they are open all night and got some shakes to celebrate the win. Very yummy! Simply AWFUL service. When we were sat down, we waited over ten minutes for our waiter. Milk shakes took forever to come to us too. In 30 minutes of sitting all we got were our waters. This is not the first time this place has been this slow, they seem to take their time and not be in any rush to help any customers. Ehh-- Its Steak n' Shake--- what really is there more to say? My 5 year old son had chosen Steak N Shake for his dinner of choice since I was going to be dragging him around Walmart for a few items.. We walked in and were immediately seated- My son was given a "toy" and the waitress gave him a couple extra things of stickers. Our waitress was very attentive, and nice, and even though it took a while for his banana shake to come out- everything was very good...and our total bill was under $10--- We cant even go to McDonalds without our bill being under $10- I just ordered a simple double cheeseburger with fries and he ordered the mini corndogs with applesauce. She had brought the applesauce out first since his shake hadnt come out- and for that I was appreciative- she also brought him a to-go cup for his shake--- I dont know, i really dont like to write reviews on places like this- but my experience was enjoyable- and thought i would share :) I always appreciate good service, and good food of course! read more

Worse service EVER waited 20 min. to be seated so I just left and walked to Waffle House.

The manager at this location has a habit of complaining to her associates about specific customers within earshot of them. Two years ago I went with one other person. We were the only two customers present, it being a late Tuesday night, and I asked them to make a very simple customization for my order. After I politely insisted on this after being basically second-guessed on the order multiple times by the waitress, probably at the urging of the manager, the waitress then relayed the order to the manager, who we could then hear complaining very irately about it. Again, we were the only two customers. That was two years ago, but recently I had a similar experience. I went with my mom, there were two things wrong with the order, my mom politely asked them to correct it, the associates politely did so, but meanwhile this same manager was passive-agressively complaining to her employees about us and shaking her head afterward. This, along with some other dubious experiences I've had with her that are too vague to mention here, confirms that that night two years ago was not just her having a ''bad day''. A few months ago I was afraid to even order what I really wanted because I wanted the same (again very basic) order customization again again and I was afraid she would have a fit.
