Arrived 30 minutes early and the host was nice enough to check if he could seat us early. They were full so he could not but we still ended up with a table about 10 minutes prior to our reservation time. The service was amazing, we were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us some champagne on the house. I had the Waygu flatiron and my husband had the ribeye, we asked for medium and they both came out medium rare but it was not the end of the world. The fries were phenomenal but the broccoli rabe was extremely bitter. The horse radish cream sauce was exceptional and the waitress suggested we dip our fries in it which was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was very nice and checked in with us enough to make sure we had what we needed but not so much we felt overwhelmed. The price was what we expected and we will 100% be back.

Best steakhouse in Boulder by a mile. We always have a great time at 316, whether it's in the dining room or at the bar (great bartenders especially Kevin). Had a wonderful time celebrating my dad's birthday last night, family was blown away by the quality. Thanks everybody!

This was a wonderful pick for tonight's dinner with some cousins I hadn't seen in years! Located near Pearl Street in Boulder, CO the building is easy to find and boasts an elegantly decorated interior and warmly lit which sets an intimate and inviting tone that carries throughout your meal. The service is immaculate and accomplished with a whole team of professionals. The meal will be on the pricier side, but is reflected with the quality of culinary offerings and high level of service you receive. One of my most enjoyed meals of 2025! The rib-cap, my favorite steak cut, was cooked to perfection and highly enjoyed with the sides of Brussels Sprouts with Maple Syrup, Crispy Pancetta, & Parmesan, and a side of Whipped Potatoes, Maitre d' Butter and last but certainly not least, roasted exotic mushrooms. The liquor and wine lists will have choices even the most discriminate of the world's oenophiles, connoisseurs and enthusiasts will enjoy. We were waaay too full for dessert, but there looked to be some amazing picks there as well. I highly recommend this place!

What a unique way to serve onion rings!

This place is something special. Steakhouse No. 316 is a restaurant we go to when we want to treat ourselves or celebrate a special occasion. It's such an elegant place. The red booths, the dark wood, the mood lighting - it makes you feel like you have traveled into the past - it almost has a speakeasy feel. The food is just amazing. The herbed butter and the freshly baked bread were delicious. We LOVE the table side Caesar's salad! Watching this salad being prepared feels like watching a piece of art come to life. The steaks are perfectly cooked. There are some truly yummy sides to choose from. Our favorite is the Loaded Twice Baked Potato. The Key Lime Pie is sublime! The people that work there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Really great service! We love that the manager is a woman and each time we're there she remembers our names. This is one of the highest quality restaurants in Boulder county!

Visiting Boulder, CO for the Utah @ Colorado game. Wanted to find an upscale steakhouse and this was a gem of a find. Promptly seated with a reservation (highly recommended). Place fells like an intimate speakeasy. Our server was friendly, attentive and made some great recommendations. Dirty Martini was yummy! Wedge Salad was okay, could have been more robust dressing. Porterhouse for 2 was a big hit! Cooked to perfection and a great cut. The sides were fantastic with the Haricots Bert and Mashed Potato being the favorites. Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie was their unique spin on them and was a hit. Definitely will be back on future trips to Boulder.

Caesar dressing made tableside and ready for the fixings.

Great place. Has the look and feel of a classic western steak place. Service was very good; there were plenty of people taking care of the floor. Starting with the bread service, they provided an excellent butter. The wine list was not huge but had a proper variety. There were fun and interesting cocktails and some fine bourbon on pour. Our server was really knowledgeable about both steak and wine - I had neither but my companions considered her recommendations excellent. The tableside Caesar salad was a neat presentation and sooo good. A triple size was more than enough for I've people. The arctic char was delicious and the fries were fabulous (I think they were done in duck fat, which did not jibe with my vegetarianism, but I had a few before I knew and yum). I chose the Truffle Gnocchi side as my dinner, but sadly I didn't like it. I was torn between that and the risotto and after tasting my friend's dish I wish I had gone with the risotto. It's not that the gnocchi was bad, just too "truffle-forward" for my tastes. Maybe cooked a bit too long, also. I know, I know. It is a STEAK house... As a meat eater for 60 years, I can say my friend's meat looked great with serious marbling and sizzled on the plate. Dessert was fantastic. The chocolate mousse, key lime pie and root beer float were a perfect ending to the meal.

We brought my husband's guests from Asia for a business dinner here. First the good stuff. The service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely, but a warning: it's very loud. Between the general acoustics and the loud music, we had a hard time hearing each other. One of our guests also complained about the lack of lighting; we were okay, but I noticed other tables using their phones to read the menu, so he wasn't the only one. Now to the food. The standouts were the fried green tomato with truffle burrata and the table side Caesar salad. They were not to be missed. I also enjoyed the frog legs. I had scallops and everyone else had steaks. My scallops were good and cooked well, but they were very small and quite overpowered by the sauce. Not worth the price honestly. People said the cuts of meat were excellent but over seasoned. The oysters were good but small; again, we wouldn't order them again for the price. Wine and drinks were good and delivered promptly.

Table-side Caesar salad

Started out a little ruff when we checked in wasn't a great experience with the hostess but after that everything was top tier... Our waitress Riley kicked butt she gave some great insight on the menu and provided great service the entire time 5 star service from her and the team that worked to ensure our experience was awesome for date night with the wife. We started out with the Cesar salad table side and it was delicious. A must have at the restaurant definitely a recommendation. Wifey ordered 8oz sirloin with crab Oscar on top. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered the Butchers special recommendation from Riley. It was delicious the photo does it no justice but it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The entire experience was awesome loved the setting and again top notch Service. We will be back and recommend for anyone looking for a delicious steak. Great Job By the entire team!

Amazing restaurant and food and vibe- not the best service but would def be back and recommend. Best blue cheese stuffed olive martini I may have had to date-- so had to get two!! No mention or dessert for the bday celebration which was a bit odd but altogether a good experience!

Always a yummy experience at Steakhouse 316. Tableside Caesar is consistently the best in Boulder. Here's a picture of lobster Thermidor, which was quite tasty.

I've had 16 addresses since leaving the nest. Getting my folks to explore with me has been a real challenge, but they've dropped in PDX, Las Vegas, & now Boulder! I selfishly set them up at the vintage Boulderado because I wanted to expose my favorite memories, & pave over the nasty ones with experiences we'll never forget. The hauntings at the hotel may have helped, but we had a great time. Remember this! Experiences are always greater & mean more than expensive stuff. You can't take stuff with you to the grave but memories pay back in dividends. I'll never go around that dating again let me tell you! Trophies & Gold diggers get old really fast, in more ways than vanity! Enough! Their trip was short but I had to take them to Avanti Boulder for the views & beers, up Flagstaff road I dream of climbing on my Cervelo, & a 15 yard penalty hike in Chautauqua Park. I call it a penalty because I swore to them we wouldn't climb a 14er like I did with my sister her first time here. It was the last time she ever used hiking shoes. We made a memory! My niece still claims that's her hardest achievement to date. Now I'm sure you want to know where this foodie took them to feast? Steak and bougie cocktails rank on my top spots especially for folks who are not into omakase. I also love circular tables for larger parties because no one is stuck on the corner. Vegas was the best at this so far! After experiencing Steakhouse 316 for dessert & bourbon, I knew I had to take my family. Portions of our feast included the frog legs, caesar salad, duck confit, oysters, & of course the largest tomahawk on the menu. I'll never forget the waiter challenging me on temp. I rarely go against my gut, but my buddy looks at me & goes, "at this place, let's trust the chef's recommendation." It was one of the best, easily top 3, full flavored perfectly prepared cuts of tasty tasty beef I've ever had. It was a perfect night, I'll never forget. Everything here was unbelievable! Trust me I know steak! Now the real challenge will they visit me when I move to Asia?

Another Cowboy Ribeye
Brett B.

A great fine dining experience, with a fun table side Cesar Salad experience... But the kicker is the garlic spinach. Why? Has anyone there actually tried this disappointing dish? One of these things is not like the others... and it's this. Everything else was delicious, which is why this is so out of place. Circle may get a square but spinach loses a star.

For those who appreciate the classic art of the professional server.

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.

The service is incredible and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible and presented like you would expect from a French chef. Not a lot of plant based options, however, the Beet Salad with vinaigrette is outstanding, so there is that to enjoy. The flavors of sweet and salty are balanced perfectly! The colors and vibrancy also made it picture worthy. They offer an incredible wine selection that will suit everyone's tastes and preferences. Also, if you love coffee, their roast is delicious and it's the best ending to a lovely meal. Don't miss this place if you want a Parisian-style experience!

Brasserie Ten Ten feels increasingly rare now…read more Even in very good restaurants, actual tablecloths have become uncommon. At lunch, rarer still. So when you settle into Brasserie Ten Ten, with its white linen, substantial silverware, mirrors, low conversational buzz, and faint 1920s salon energy, you will notice. There's something a little Gertrude Stein about the place: people lingering, talking, drinking and eating well, behaving as if the outside world can wait. It feels slightly Parisian, in the best way. Refined but lived in. A room designed for appetite and conversation. If cigarettes were still allowed, you could almost imagine someone chain smoking over a third glass of wine while arguing about literature or the affair they're having. But this is still Boulder, where the fantasy stops just short of the inevitable side-eye and civic disapproval. And then there is the gauze-wrapped lemon. The first time I ever saw one of those mesh bundles tied up for squeezing over seafood, I thought it was the height of sophistication and luxury. The gauze has the faint sexiness of pantyhose while also serving a very practical purpose. A factory worker's kid like me being mesmerized by a lemon condom probably tells you something about aspiration in America. I started with the pâté, which was exactly the right kind of decadent. I paid the extra charge to swap the crostini for bread, which was absolutely the correct decision. I ate about a third and boxed the rest before things got irresponsible. The Boulder influence...nah. The accompaniments were classic: grainy mustard, tiny olives, and a small pile of pickled vegetables cutting through all that pâté richness. The bouillabaisse was mostly lovely. The seafood was cooked expertly, which matters in a dish where every type requires slightly different timing. The shrimp were especially sweet. I would have liked more cod, which felt a little stingy, and while the saffron broth was flavorful, it leaned more tomato-forward than I personally prefer. Still, between the mussels, shrimp, cod, rouille-slathered toast, and that absurdly elegant lemon situation, the fisherman's stew delivered exactly the kind of brasserie pleasure I came searching for. Service at the bar was confident and relaxed. Two bartenders understood the balance between attentiveness and hovering. Not doting, which I don't need, but every need was met. Real napkins. A dedicated, and attended, host stand. People who seemed comfortable in the room instead of performing hospitality theater. Not an everyday lunch. You notice the prices. You should. But every once in a while, it's good to sit somewhere that still believes lunch can stretch a little too long, conversation matters, and a gauze-wrapped lemon can still feel faintly glamorous. There may be no cigarette smoke, no Left Bank argument unfolding over wine, no real salon except the one you briefly imagine. But Brasserie Ten Ten still knows how to make lunch feel like an act of civilization: linen, appetite, conversation, and just enough theatre to make the afternoon seem...negotiable. Gertrude Stein probably would've approved.

My husband had the happy hour special of the evening, a very large serving of large mussels with grilled sourdough and a lucious broth. We also had some small plate tapas and I mostly grazed those. I love Bocarones and they do it so well though for me last night, the peppers were a bit too spicy. But I got the majority of the little fishies, my husband the peppers.. The mushrooms has a warm egg yolk on top to stir into the dressing which was tasty. We finished with their flan which was as good as my Spanish born neighbor made in my youth. Keep in mind it's tapas style, so your food will show up in the order it shows up, not all at once. Getting second drinks was a little slow as the place got more crowded, but the drinks were good. Non alcoholic cocktail options looked good too -- my husband ordered something off that list but subbed in regular alcohol and was very happy with the results. While I was there though I was not going to pass up the chance to get some empanadas but since I didn't come with an agenda I just told the guy behind the counter give me two choices of whatever you think is good. I appreciated when instead of questioning or getting confused or asking a follow up he just "you got it boss" and entered in the choices without thinking twice. I knew that he was a real one for this. I got my mate which they have on tap! On tap mate is dangerous but it was very delicious. They had two flavors one mixed with orange juice and one that was simply sweetened (not overly sweet at all. Less sweet than any yellow canned mate you might be thinking of). I tried both choices and the orange juice one was really good but after a full glass I felt a little weighed down. I can't remember the last time I drank that much orange juice. The food comes out and this is where my review is going to get unhelpful. I have no idea what either of these are called and honestly I don't need to know. The flavors were on point for both. One was a traditional seeming empanada with a ground beef mixture on the inside. Not spicy but the flavors were robust. The outer layer of the empanada was also flavorful but fell apart a bit from the heavy sog of beef filling. The taste was still great for all of it and it came with some kind of chimichurri adjacent sauce on the side that was maybe the best thing about the empanada. The second choice was less of an empanada and more of a tart or small pie? It had cheese and corn for the filling and was extremely gooey. Like more gooey than it had any right to be. I don't need to tell you that the combination of crust, cheese, and corn was delicious. If anything it was maybe a little too simple but I could eat that any day of the week and be happy. I got a wonderful table outside under some shade and gave my baby daughter some bites of the meat filling. She loved it. Left after drinking two more cups of the standard mate and felt amazing.
