The parking is free. The service was slow. The avocado toast was delicious and the smoothie too. The lavender haze tasted too much like perfume. The ambiance is busy and fast.

Very cute coffee shop in Shell beach that serves great coffee and treats. Oatmeal and along with my latte was a great way to start the morning. The staff is super friendly. Come here to get your coffee fix and to start your morning!

We stopped by Steaming Bean after a mini trip to Shell Beach, and the location couldn't be more convenient - just off the main strip. Super cute spot with plenty of seating options: a dog-friendly front patio, lots of indoor tables, and a huge back patio with ocean views. The breakfast menu had great choices like burritos, avocado toast, and more. We ordered the breakfast burritos and they were delicious, especially with the variety of salsas that you can grab from the fridge. We got oat milk cappuccinos that were tasty as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great coffee shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Baristas were friendly. We enjoyed our lattes so much we returned a second time on our road trip. Hubby ordered iced snickers latte and I ordered grasshopper. Both were EXCELLENT! Second visit hubby ordered carmello which is vanilla bean and caramel. He loved it. I got coconut-caramel. My drink was too strong, but that doesn't take away from my overall experience and willingness to return.

Got some yummy scrambled eggs. Ate on the back patio. Not much shade. Close quarters... got to simultaneously be in on a bible study and old man's game with wooden tiles. Inside was packed with kids on their laptops. My latte was good. Servers were nice enough. Parking was on the street or behind the building-- but not difficult.

holy guacamole this place is excellent. bryon victor, my waitress, was extremely caring and overall made this experience one that i will never forget. i am most certainly suggesting this place to others. the atmosphere is out of this world, with the greenery and seats outside. please go here if you're nearby

We love this little spot each year when we come to Pismo on vacation! We walk from The Seacrest to this gem of a coffee shop. My daughter highly recommends the Cookies & Cream Smoothie! She wants to come back before we leave to get another! We didn't try any food, but saw many in the shop eating & enjoying their drinks. It is a small, cute little shop that brings peace, especially in the patio. A fun stop if you are a coffee lover! We will be back!!

A super cute coffee shop with plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). Free wifi making it a perfect place to study and the food and drink was good too. Service was fast and employees were super nice and helpful with any questions. Highly recommend!

It was bliss on a plate... :-) the tomato was perfectly ripen, the lettuce was crisp, the bacon was crispy, and the egg was cooked perfectly. There are so many places that make this kind of sandwich, but this by far is the best version I've ever had! The restaurant is very homey, with lots of cool artwork, and plants everywhere. The individual working the register has bakery items on a rack that is eye level to her. She is constantly flopping her hair back and forth. In addition I noticed that when a server came out to clean tables and dirty dishes, they would put them in the sink and then just to grab food items to serve. They didn't even wash their hands! After I noticed that I had been waiting for a long time, I asked the person at the register about my food. She looked over to the rack and my food was just sitting there for an ample amount of time. All she could say was (very awkwardly) sorry. I decided to keep my cool and hoped the food was going to be okay, but when I got home there was hair in my plate.

They offer bobas, milk teas and smoothies along with frozen yogurt with plenty of options for toppings. It seems like the flavors change from time to time. SERVICE: The man who helped me was very welcoming and nice. The service was quick (although I was the only customer during my visit) but I feel like there wouldn't be a great wait even with multiple customers. AMBIANCE: Small mom and pop shop. There are little stools with a bar counter, tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your yogurt or other snacks that can be bought at the store as well. Not a very big spot so depends on the visit it can get crowded. Most people seem to take it to go instead of sitting at the store. Plenty of parking but it is also a shared parking lot with other stores in the plaza so be aware. Highly recommend this local staple shop! Worth the price. I can't wait to go back! Support local!

The staff are fairly average, they greet customers and provide service relatively quickly. The prices are on the higher side, and I can see how a visit for desserts with the whole family could become quite expensive. Another drawback is the limited sizing options. For example, their drinks are only available in a large size, which may not appeal to everyone. I'm also not a fan of dining inside. There's something about the color scheme and overall atmosphere that makes the space feel less inviting and not particularly appealing for eating in.
