Today my Sticky's popcorn chicken box was not filled up as it used to be. I went back to ask the counter girl if they changed the portion size because there was an empty hole in the box. The reply was that there was supposed to be 14 pieces of popcorn chicken but I did not think of counting until I got home. There were 11 pieces of the small little nuggets. This is not about the missing chicken but about the store service competency. SOOOOO good. I've had stickys a few times and what I ordered today was definitely the best. I got the Thai chicken fingers & the smores fries. I wouldn't normally order Thai flavored things but they are so spicy sweet and delicious and definitely my favorite thing on the menu. I thought the smores fries would be okay.....but they ended up being one of the best side dishes I've ever had. I'm not a huge fries or smores fan either. The man on the phone was really rude while I was inquiring about my order & hung up on me right after answering my question. But after my food arrived it was all worth it! read more

I walked into Sticky's wet, tired, and malnourished after a long day, chancing my luck with what was an intriguing menu when I knew I would be satisfied by the Domino's Pizza next store that never disappoints. Let me just start by saying sticky's finger joint has changed my life. I was mildly disappointed when I found out that stickys does not serve sticky bun. This alone kept me away for a few weeks. However, little did I know, the single greatest chicken popper I have ever tasted was a mere three blocks away. The chicken poppers were orgasmic and I mean that literally the Cajun fries were a sexual voyage into the creole culture. I highly recommend the buffalo sauce and I do not recommend the aioli vampire sauce (don't be fooled it is just mayo). It is also worth noting that my gentleman caller experienced some violent diarrhea at work the day after eating it but he has that a lot so it may not be related. (He says it was worth it though). Heard tons about this place and it did NOT live up to the hype. I got the chicken poppers and pot pie fries. The fries had their grandma's gravy sauce, shredded carrots, and bacon. For starters, the chicken was ice cold as well were the fries. The chicken had no flavor and it was completely dried out. The fries were average, the gravy being the best part. They have about 20 sauces on the menu. I tried 5 of them and they were all bad besides the honey mustard. Now for the service. I was new to the place so I wasn't sure how to order. After looking at the menu for a couple minutes, a rude girl behind the counter (who sounded very annoyed because I was taking my time to look over the menu) began to explain how to order. I felt extremely rushed and just chose anything at random. My opinion: skip this place, go to Chick Fila for better, cheaper, friendlier experience. read more

I love chicken fingers, and I've been hearing good things about this "joint." I was in this neighborhood and felt compelled to check out the hype. Got a regular box of cajun chicken finger poppers. It's a plentiful portion at 11-12 pieces. The poppers themselves are ok.. honestly I think nothing beats Popeyes as far as fast casual chicken goes (this prices here are a LOT more expensive- was $7.31 for that box). The cajun seasoning is nice, the white meat hot and juicy- not too dry- and the exterior nicely breaded and crispy. However what won me over was the SERVICE. And usually i'm all about the food, meh on the service- especially as far as fast casual goes. Not only were they quick, but the girl who took my order realized very quickly that I was a newbie. When it came time to pick a sauce, I went with what I knew.. sweet Thai chili. She insisted that their signature sticky sauce was a must-try (and I knew she was right, I just don't dig any kind of honey mustard/BBQ/ ish stuff but it was actually like a smokey mayo), and gave it to me for free. Wow. Then, she explained how much they value their sauce and how all new customers should try it. Talk about reading people and good customer service. Kudos! Yummyyy if you need your fix of fried food and lots of yummy sauces this is your spot. The chicken is really good (it's smaller pieces which I personally like) and the fries are so good nice and crispy with a thicker skin than a fry from McDonalds, has a nice crunch to it. Had some to to kill before my Piano class and spent a good 15 minutes walking from Grand Central looking for a spot that served good food, was priced reasonably and where I wouldn't need a waiter. I had a feeling Sticky's was gunna be that place when I walked inside. The Chicken here is pretty damn good, be sure to get Caramel as a sauce when you go, you haven't eat chicken the right way till you eat it with Caramel on it. Disappointing experience. I stopped here on two occasions and the service was bad on both. The staff is totally indifferent and rude. This is a new concept, the owner should be wanting his staff to promote the brand and they do not do that here. They are not helpful and short with customers. Sticky finger..... Horrible , I was missing item when order. When I contacted the restaurant the young lady over the was very rude and kept hanging up the phone on me because I expressed that I didn't receive my item or utensils. I was told that I don't pay for utensils because she assumed everyone is home. After the conversation the young lady began to get loud and once again hung up . When I called back asked to speak with the manager I was told the young lady I was speaking with was the manager. I asked for the managers name and the young lady responded, she was told not to give her name and and and hung up. I will never spend my money there again. It appears that is run by a bunch of young girls who don't know how to conduct business professionally. Best chicken I have had in NYC. They have standard fingers and poppers as well as a number of signature sandwiches, salads and sides. You get a ton of food for what you pay. Poppers are a lot better value than fingers simply because there is no number of poppers assigned to an order (they just fill the container versus finger orders coming in 3 or 5 pieces). They have about 30 different sauce selections. I usually get the BBQ, Buffalo Balsamic, or Sticky's sauce and like them all a lot. Open until 3am. read more

I never heard about the place and was walking by when I tried it. I got the standard 3 fingers/fries/sauce combo. The fries were delicious. The chicken was very dry and lacked flavor/seasonings. The buffalo balsamic sauce was okay, kind of salty and, although otherwise indicated on the menu, it was not spicy. I ended up making my own little sauce at home to provide more moisture and flavor to the chicken. I didn't go to a chicken fingers and fries place expecting a healthy meal, so no complaints there. after a year and a half of wanting to try this place....i finally did. Me and a friend were meeting for a movie at the kips bay theater and since our movie was not until 8 we had about an hour to kill. So we went to sticky's for a quick bite and to my surprise its actually a very small place. There were about 5 tables each sits two people and just a quick ordering area. They ran out of poppers so we ordered the chicken fingers which comes with two sauces. We got the harassi aoli and french onion cream and the truffle fries. The chicken fingers were pretty big, couldn't finish the box of 5 between the two of us. I did not like the fries because it wasnt crunchy like i'd imagine it to be. The chicken fingers didn't have much flavor even though we ordered spicy....the sauce were yummy tho. it reminded me of pomme frites sauces but instead of potato we dipped chicken. I can totally imagine this place being a drunk person's heaven on fridays or saturdays, but overall i'm glad i got to try it but i would not trek to the area JUST for it. read more
