Me and my party went on a Saturday night. It was an underwhelming experience. If you are looking for great steak, then this is NOT the place. The music playlist was better than the actual food. We were expecting very well-seasoned steaks and amazing add-ons, especially for the steep prices. The steaks did not have much flavor, even with the added truffle butter. Also the butter add-ons were a simple a pat of butter melted over the steak for $12. The sides were not great either - mac and cheese and potato gratin also kinda bland. The asparagus was ok. We had reservations and had to wait for about an hour to actually be seated. The service was also very poor. Our waitress disappeared on us several times. Also, for the "premium" cocktails, I ordered a drink that included Belvedere and caught the bartender using Tito's instead, and made him remake it. For the price tag, we could have gone elsewhere for much better quality food experience. It was my friend's birthday and she was expecting a complimentary slice of cake and birthday song, similar to how many other restaurants do. They told us they did not do that. They served the most basic and non seasoned food. $64 for 1/2 a piece of Bronzino (with bones), and a mound of plain jasmine rice with a garnish of uneatable vegetables. We recently dined at STK Steakhouse and unfortunately the experience was far below expectations, especially given the restaurant's reputation and pricing. The problems started at the bar while we were waiting for our reserved table. We ordered drinks from the bartender, but when our table became available, the bartender apparently canceled the orders and shifted them to the waitress without informing either our party or the server. As a result, nobody knew what had happened, and we were left waiting and confused. When I raised the issue with the bartender, the response was defensive rather than focused on resolving the situation. Once seated, things didn't improve much. Our party of seven waited nearly an hour for our food. Throughout the evening, there seemed to be significant operational challenges, with staff blaming other departments rather than taking ownership of issues. The lack of communication and coordination was evident. The bright spot of the evening was the kitchen. When the food finally arrived, it was very good and ultimately saved what otherwise would have been a completely disappointing experience. The quality of the food is the reason I'm giving more than one star. STK has the potential to deliver a great dining experience, but the front-of-house operations, communication, and customer service need significant improvement. read more

Came in for the Mexico game after one of the managers told me that they were going to have it on. When I tell you the big tvs they have on the floor made sure I didn't miss a second of the action although I couldn't hear what was going I could still feel the adrenaline as my team scored 2 points for the win. And I scored as well as they are running a world cup menu that featured some fairly priced items like the world cup fried rice and world cup fried Mac and cheese balls oh guys you have to try them. I will definitely be coming back to watch more games the way some of the other guest showed there support for both teams made it feel like a great place to be. Now yes the ambiance might not be as wild as at a bar but it was still upbeat and worth the money spent. I had high hopes going here as I've heard lots of good reviews, and I know that it was pretty expensive. I was let down almost immediately when we showed up to our 8 o'clock reservation and they didn't have a table ready for us. It took them about 20 minutes to seat us. The air conditioner was not turned on inside and it was so muggy and humid. I was in a dress and I was sweating. The servers were so slow and not good about refilling any of our drinks. Our server genuinely didn't know half of the menu. The food was average, but I would never pay as much as we did for this quality. Nothing about it was special, in fact a lot of it wasn't even prepared correctly. The best thing about dinner was the bread they gave you at the beginning. Which thankfully they did give us because it took over an hour to get our entrées after our appetizers. The chocolate cake at the end was pretty good but very expensive. At 9 o'clock they randomly asked customers to dance on the tables which I thought was weird and not a very classy look, but it was fun. It is very dim inside and very crowded. Good: general atmosphere, sea bass and strength of mixed drink. Bad: slow service, had to get up multiple times to ask for missing drinks, salt/pepper, missing entree. When standing at the servers station was passed by multiple times by servers and not a one asked if I needed anything. It was about 2-3 minutes of waiting till our server walked by and I had to stop her to be acknowledged. Had to send back a medium steak as it came out well. The $120 steak was...ok. On par with getting a $25 cut from Kroger and just didn't have to grill it ourselves. Honestly the first time I have tipped 20% and regret giving even that much. read more

We parked in a parking lot across the street. Pay $22 for three hours of parking as they only do 24 hours. Upon entry, I believe it was the manager older. African-American male was very pleasant, very welcoming, and who is the one who told us about the parking, but it was too late as we already paid. We were seated within five minutes of arrival, which was great as we did make a reservation. The waitress was awesome. The food was OK but for what we paid it should've been phenomenal. The portions for what you pay is not close what the flavor should have been. The cost for his steak only for it to arrive overcooked is insane. We mentioned it to the waitress, but we didn't make a big deal because it was my spouses birthday. Don't order the fire melting butter at the table as he forgot the lighter went back to retrieve one and then he didn't melt the butter like we paid $12 each for. Keeping this short and sweet--I really like STK! It's fun, stylish, and the food is delicious, especially during happy hour. But I've noticed some changes lately, and I'm not sure if this is just the Atlanta location or if it's happening across others (looking at you, Miami). Let's talk about the steak quesadilla. Now, I know some people might say, "Who cares, it's not an actual steak," but hear me out! These used to be incredible--perfect for late-night eats or taking to the beach or pool. Each quesadilla was a huge, cheesy triangle packed with chunks of steak, mustard crème, and gooey cheese. Honestly, they were impeccable. One of the best quesadillas I've ever had! Fast forward to now, and it's like a totally different dish. The quality has dropped so hard. It's bad--like, really bad. The quesadillas now look and taste like something you'd get at a generic grill spot, and they're trying to pass it off as a BOGO deal? Just no. Stop with the BOGO and bring back the original! Extreme disappointment from the moment we walked in the door. We had a 6:45 reservation, showed up right at 6:45 and waited until 8:40 to be seated. Almost two hour wait WITH a reservation. The hostesses couldn't give two shits. I was entertaining clients so needless to say it was embarrassing. When finally getting seated, after walking around to find a manager, the manager assured us they would "take care of us" in the end. 2 of our four steaks came out overcooked. Wrong sides showed up. When they had new steaks cooked for us, they brought out an entirely different cut than what we ordered. I guess fhey assumed we wouldnt know the difference between the bone-in cuts we ordered and boneless cuts they brought out. The AC seemed to be on the fritz because it would cool off for just a few minutes and then the temp would creep back up to relatively uncomfortable for 30 mins before kicking back on again for a few mins. While our server tried her best to keep up with the evening, she ended up bringing out our bill that was full price (no being "taken care of" like the manager said. And on top of it, she rang us up for the steaks that were overcooked PLUS the two they sent out that were the wrong cut! They charged us for 2 additional steaks! Talked to the server who swore she didn't know anything about it, and it was taken off. I can't help but feel completely taken advantage of by this place. I guess it's true what we heard. They do have a 90 minute dining time. I did come on a prom night so I understand it could've been busy. I made reservations weeks prior and was seated within a reasonable amount of time. Service was slow and I had to ask the manager (who walked around to different tables to check on everyone) for bread after having our food. (The waiter said that he was bringing some after taking our drink order). To be honest, the only reason I would rate this place a 2 star is because of the music and the taste of the steak. The food came out warm. It was very hot in there, the floors were dirty- as I was stepping on a napkin and silverware after being seated- and the food and experience was not worth the price. I really wanted to like this place. Here's the breakdown. -If you would like 2 hours of parking validated, make door you park in the parking garage stacked to the restaurant. Also be aware that even with large parties you need to pay with one card. -our server didn't give us her name but she was of Indian descent. We spoke to THREE different managers! The first one said he fixed it and sent the second manager who couldn't produce our tucker but offered 20% off of THE OTHER TABLES TICKET! The third manager took a few tries and finally fixed the situation, but offered the table bourbon shots, changed his mind and brought tequila, we said bourbon so then they brought mixed drinks. In the end we got the bourbon shots with a very nasty attitude from the manager. Our friend and birthday girl finally got her cake and we'NEVER WANT TO GO HERE AGAIN! This ruined her birthday terribly. -The ambiance was loud with ghetto music that had profanity in it. Pricey without the quality to match. I've been to STK in other cities and they are pretty good but the one in Atlanta is terrible. We waited 1.5 hours for 2 medium rare filets. After 3 requests of the manager, the food finally came out. The flavor was ok until we got to the middle and it was completely rare. Any place that calls itself of steakhouse and doesn't know how to cook meat to temperature is going to get a very low mark. The Brussels sprouts and asparagus were good. All the food was pretty lukewarm like the kitchen is not well run. If someone suggests this place for dinner, RUN!!! read more

It felt like more elevated quick service food rather than high class dining. Our waitress Casey came and checked on us often and was very polite in welcoming us. We landed in Atl from Mississippi after a 5 hour flight and after our flight got cancelled, from Atlanta to Phoenix.. had a bad time at the airport and finally after an hour and a half of managing to get things ironed out, we were headed to our hotel. We ordered an amazing Wagyu (Japenese A5 Filet) and for a change tried their Maine Lobster Linguini .. accompanied with Yukon Gold Mashed potatoes and Lil' burgers. Went for an early dinner on Labor Day and it was very empty, which led to prompt and attentive service. I do have to say I was disappointed by the exact terms and conditions of their military discount for the holiday, but my partner and I made do with their Steak Night menu. Of the dishes we ordered, we loved the entrees (Mushroom Tagliatelle and NY Strip) but found the sides (Mac n Cheese and Asparagus) particularly lackluster, especially for the average price point of this restaurant. The shrimp cocktail was so so mediocre, and the burgers in the Lil' BRGS had no flavor--the buns were the only distinctive component. The music playing was very fun and reminded me of Miami restaurants pre-club time, as they're preparing to make tables into dance floors. Overall though, I would not return. $300 Birthday Dinner Turned into a 4-Hour Disappointment I booked STK Atlanta for my boyfriend's 25th birthday expecting the polished, high-end experience the restaurant is known for. Unfortunately, our night unraveled into one of the most frustrating and costly dining experiences I've ever had. We arrived early for our 7:45 PM reservation and were seated promptly, but service fell apart almost immediately. Our waitress provided great service to tables seated before us, but from our table onward everything changed. She informed us that the three-course dinner special we planned for wasn't available, promised to check on the happy-hour menu, and never followed up. After taking our drink orders, she disappeared for over 40 minutes while continuing to give attentive service to earlier tables. When she finally returned, we placed our dinner order--then waited more than an hour for entrées that arrived cold. My paid-for seasoning and side were forgotten until it was too late, and the complimentary bread didn't appear until 30 minutes before the entrées. Before we could even finish the bread fully, she took it. We couldn't even order a second round of drinks because the first round had long been finished. Throughout the time we tried to make the best of it by entertaining each other, keeping conversation try not to be negative about it, but it became something we could not ignore. What made it worse was watching a clear pattern unfold: every table seated after us in her section wore the same frustrated expressions, complained to the manager, and experienced the same delays, while other sections of the restaurant ran smoothly. The manager eventually stopped by and offered to comp a round of drinks, but those arrived only as our food was being boxed to go. My boyfriend's birthday sparklers were brought out before our entrées--clearly an attempt to mask the delay. We were seated at 7:35 PM and didn't leave until 11:00 PM, missing the rest of our evening plans. In the end, I spent $300--the most I have ever paid at a restaurant--because I wanted to make my boyfriend's birthday feel special. Instead, the experience was completely ruined. For a restaurant that prides itself on high-end service and pricing, this level of neglect is unacceptable. STK has the name and ambiance, but no special occasion should be marred by such inconsistent and irrational service. Sadly, this was both our first and last visit. I want to reiterate that the only person that ruined this experience was our waitress. The manager tried to make the experience better, but even after he left the table, everything only got worse for us alongside the people around us who were also being served by her.
