This isn't our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last , this place continues to impress us every time. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. The food was seasoned to perfection and absolutely lived up to our expectations. We started with the blue cheese wedge salad, which was a great appetizer. For our main dishes, we ordered the Australian Wagyu flat iron steak paired with crispy Brussels sprouts, and the shrimp scampi pasta. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We went to Disney Springs on Christmas Day in the late afternoon and, as expected, just about every restaurant had over an hour wait for a party of five with no reservations. We were about to give up when we decided to check STK just to see. To our surprise, they were accepting walk ins and the wait was only about 15 minutes. We happily waited and were seated pretty quickly. They were clearly very busy, so we expected the food to take a while, but everything came out in a reasonable amount of time and was cooked exactly as ordered. The bread arrived a bit late, but that was because they were baking a fresh batch, which was totally fine. My only real complaint was the Chilean sea bass. At $68, the portion was very small. It was extremely flavorful and cooked perfectly, moist and not rubbery at all, but the portion just did not justify the price. My wife's NY strip was cooked exactly to her requested medium well. The lobster tail with mac and cheese was also very good. My son finished his entire meal and the mac and cheese, which says a lot. Despite how crowded and hectic it was, the hostess remained calm, polite, and professional. Our waiter was also great and very efficient. What a pleasant surprise our visit was! I had heard great things about this spot, so I was excited to give it a try. We actually were just looking for a spot to grab a quick drink and this spot was perfection. There weren't enough seats at the bar on the ground floor, but we found 4 seats together at the upstairs bar. This spot was SO fancy, I didn't know how pricey the drinks were going to be; but we actually got there right before happy hour ended (4:00-6:30). We had an espresso martini, strawberry cobbler and traditional margarita. We didn't get anything to eat so I can only review the drinks we had. WOW! They were all SO good!! Disney pricing is normally outrageous, but because they were on Happy Hour pricing they were a REALLY good deal! So we tried both happy hour and brunch all in one weekend. If you go, ask to sit in Alex's section because he definitely turned out frown upside down. I get it's in a tourist location, but as a local coming all the way to the tourist trap...the hostesses should be a little nicer and accommodating. We were a party of 4 with 2 there for HH. You can sit at a table, not just the bar for HH. Because the other 2 were stuck in traffic they said we couldn't sit til at least 3 were there. However, when the others arrived, we still had to wait 15 mins leaving us 20 min for HH. Alex understood the assignment and took our orders right away. Our table was constantly cleared out and service was amazing. Food wise: steak and frites (slivers on 10 fries) but good, mushroom fritters -amazing, tots with a surprise cheese inside -amazing, short rib quesadilla- meh, other items pretty standard. The drinks were on point! One maybe 2 and you're happy! Brunch- it was ok. The bread basket comes with 1 croissant, 1cinnamon roll and no icing, and 3 baguettes (hard). The Caesar salad was delicious. We had to ask for them to bring out the 2nd course after the cold items, as it was a bit slow. Presentation is good and the food is, I'm just not big on dry waffles. I want to preface my review acknowledging the level of scrutiny I'll be applying... if this was a $150 meal, I would rate accordingly, but the cost was easily twice that, so my expectations are a wee bit higher than normal. I'll start with the ambiance. The downstairs of STK Disney Springs looked lovely and comfortable, perhaps more appropriate for a date night. The upstairs area we were seated in had much harsher light and it was cold enough (with chilly weather outside) that the staff were all donning their shell jackets while conducting indoor service. Onto the food. They only have bottled beer and a decent selection of wine and custom cocktails. The bread service had an excellent flavor drizzle but it's clear the bread itself had been sitting for some time and was rather dried out. We ordered the 10oz filet and Australian flatiron wagyu - the steaks were cooked perfectly and were absolutely the highlight of the meal (and I'd hope so as the namesake of the restaurant). We chose the charred sprouts and truffle fries for sides, good but not mind blowing - we were advised to get two, but really we could have settled with one. We finished the meal off with the signature dessert "the cloud." While the presentation is fun the desert itself was... not good. The butter cake was almost too dense to pull a fork through and the accompanying berries were unripe. Skip desert here and grab something yummy from a neighboring business at Disney Springs. TLDR, ask to be reseated if sent upstairs in Winter - great steaks, but didn't have a fantastic experience for the price point. read more

The prices for this restaurant are scary - $109 for a 12 oz ribeye?!? Yikes! Notice there are no prices in the online menus. We were starving, though, and scored a patio table during the 2:30-6:30 happy hour. The happy hour menu is where it is at! Small bites ranging from $3-$6-$9 filled you up without bankrupting you. We especially liked the $9 cheeseburger which was full sized. The tuna tartare taco was also tasty. Don't be fooled by the wagyu label on the meatballs. They were good meatballs but you will not taste any difference. The STK and frites are very, very small ribeye bites with a smattering of fries. My daughter did like the Lil BRG which was made with Wagyu beef, along with the Wagyu beef tacos. In all, we spent about $77 before tip for 3 people but definitely left full. read more

Opted to eat inside because it was a little windy outside but still felt like we were getting fresh air and we were close enough to the patio to see the sun. STK is one of my favorite places to come for Magical Dining between August 15- September 30. Magical Dining is hosted by Visit Orlando, and this year is the 20th anniversary of restaurants all around Orlando providing 3 course fixed menus for $40 or $60 with upgrades as options. A portion of the proceeds goes to a local charitable organization, and this years is the REED Charitable Foundation that works hard to end the literary crisis. My husband and I took the very first night being a Friday to have a date night for $60/pp so if you are familiar with STK, you know that's a reasonable price. For my first course or appetizer I chose the lil BRGs, that came with two on a cutting board with STK engraved in it. They were very juicy so make sure you careful to lean over your plate or you will have juices in your lap or on your shirt! The special sauce, cheese, tomato and pickle made for the best bite, through and through. For my entree, I upgraded my 8oz skirt steak to the Australian Wagyu and it was worth the upgrade! The steak was well seasoned (not only salt), to the point the side of chimichurri wasn't even needed. It was extremely tender despite my need to have my steak medium well, LOL, and I enjoyed every single bite! I was under the impression I'd still get the fingerling potatoes even though I upgraded but I didn't. So, I'm not sure if that was a first night mishap or because I upgraded that I didn't receive them. It was fine for me though as we did add on the creamed spinach as a side to split as well because it's a favorite of ours. By the time I got to dessert I was ready to explode. I ate a bite or two of the chocolate cake just to taste it and brought the rest home. It's very chocolatey and topped with lots of crumbles. It felt like a "dirt pudding" in cake form. Despite how sweet it is, I still feel like it needs a scoop of vanilla ice cream and served extra warm and I just know it would be incredible. We had a great night being sat on the patio terrace upstairs. There were fans, misters, and the music was just enough that we could still talk which was great. My review is purely based on happy hour near closing time. Although I feel as though normal hours would've been a better representation of their quality of food and service, I still feel all hours, all orders and all guest matter. As mentioned before, we came for late night happy hour. We were one of only a few guest and the staff was very focused on pre-closing. I think we still purchased a lot but with higher engaged service we may have ordered a lot more. The appetizers and drinks were fairly priced and the turn around was very quick. Not surprised considering there was barely any guest. We ordered various drinks. I loved the guava berry kiss and martini espresso. The happy hour dishes were more like tapas. I want to first say they had great customer service! My waitresses name was Negin, she was great! I was in anticipation for this place, one because it was my birthday and two because they had some great reviews! I loveee good food, however, in all honesty I was a tinch disappointed. The Braised Short Ribs were fatty, though the sauce was good, and went well with the bread. The Mac & Cheese with Lobster was a bit salty for my taste and well I didn't really enjoy that either. They kept very few people sitting inside and say that inside seatings are full when you can clearly see it's empty. They'd rather keep you sitting outside in the hot sun. We went by STK at Disney Springs for happy hour before watching a movie at AMC. The environment inside was awesomel! There was a DJ, super cool bar and patio. The happy hour menu was phenomenal! We tried the old fashioned and spicy watermelon margarita. The spicy watermelon margarita is a signature favorite of theirs and I highly recommend trying it. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or in the mood for good quality steak, STK is a great option at Disney Springs. The restaurant has a great vibe especially at night. When we visited they had a DJ on the second floor playing music which I really enjoyed. Service was good and I felt like we were in and out in a timely manner. We started off with their complimentary bread which was a pull-apart sourdough bread with blue cheese butter. Honestly I would go back just for this bread, it was one of the best complimentary breads I've had at any restaurant. Who knew blue cheese butter could be so good! For an appetizer we ordered the ceviche. While the ceviche looked pretty it didn't have much flavor and the portion size was small. But I love ceviche so I still enjoyed it. For an entree we ordered the 34 oz Dry-Aged Tomahawk steak. It was big enough to feed two people and with the other items we ordered we did leave full. I highly recommend ordering the butter for an extra charge because they will come by and melt the butter with a torch table side. It was really fun to watch. STK at Disney Springs is one of the most overrated restaurants I've ever been to. They charge luxury steakhouse prices for food that wouldn't survive at a chain restaurant. I should have taken the hint and gone somewhere else when the stale tasting bread loaf was served. We requested another loaf, and it tasted exactly the same. Maybe stale bread is the new steakhouse trend? All the main dishes are served à la carte, and the sides were over twenty dollars on top of sixty to one hundred dollar entrées. That alone would be fine if the food were actually good, but it wasn't. The tater tots were mediocre at best, and the Brussels sprouts were overcooked, dry, and tasted like burnt bacon. Our server ended up removing the Brussels sprouts from the bill since none of us touched them after the first bite. Tina, our server, is the reason I gave two stars instead of one. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience a little better. Now for the cocktails. My wife ordered the espresso martini and said it was decent, but not even as good as the one from our local burger joint. For a twenty two dollar "craft cocktail," I expected much better. I ordered two dirty vodka martinis with blue cheese olives, which came with a four dollar upcharge on an already twenty plus dollar drink. When the order was taken, I was asked if I wanted olives, but no one mentioned there would be an extra charge. It's not the money that bothered me, we already expected outrageous Disney Springs pricing. It's the principle of charging extra for olives in a martini, which traditionally comes with olives. To make matters worse, the drinks were so watered down that after two martinis I barely felt anything at all. The entire place feels more focused on loud music, Instagram photos, and pretending to be exclusive than actually delivering quality food and drinks. After paying nearly four hundred dollars for three entrées (chicken, shrimp scampi, and salmon), one salad, two sides, and three cocktails for a party of four, the experience was honestly embarrassing, both for me and for STK. Orlando has far better steakhouses that actually deserve the price tag. I left feeling completely ripped off and won't ever be back!! read more

We had a great evening at STK. We didn't realize that our reservation lined up with the happy hour but it was a great surprise. We all enjoyed trying the different selections from the happy hour menu. I especially loved the tater tot's. It's almost doing it a disservice to call them tater tot's - they were so much more than that! So delicious! Jason was a great waiter and was happy to help with our many many questions. I always love the ambience of this restaurant. It's very beautiful when you walk in. It's like a modern luxury vibe. I got the Wagyu burgers which were great. The overall feel of the place is trashy and club-centered, which is very off brand for Disney. The food is mediocre, the sides were cold and lacked flavor while the meat was over salted. The prices were definitely too high for what you are getting, and we saw multiple families walk in, sit down and look at the menu, then get back up and leave, it's just too overpriced! The sides are also extra and do not come with your entree. The DJ was a little over the top even though music is always a nice touch when you're dining. It tasted like they opened a bottle of hidden valley ranch. The steak frites tasted like something I could have made at home. The fries had potential but they weren't even warm. It also was insanely hot in there. When we asked if they could turn up the ac they said it's controlled by corporate and they couldn't. Pure insanity considering this location is in the middle of Florida and it's the middle of June. I wouldn't go back and also I would lower your expectations. STK is where I'd go again if I needed a quality steak in a nice atmosphere. It has a club-like feel and is welcoming, with acoustics that welcome conversation. My steak was very good--a quality piece of meat that was obviously selected with care. One thing that surprised me was that the mixed vegetables on the side were good: you don't find that often. They were fresh, crisp, and not drenched in butter or oil. I had a couple of issues: two of us who had requested medium rare got steaks that were very much on the rare side. This was quickly corrected, even if it could have had just 30 seconds more on that round. The other is that my water glass was dirty, but the server corrected this quickly as well. The only reason I'm removing a star is because the hostess was rude when we first approached. And she was not very personable as being the first face that guests see when they approach the restaurant. The ribeye was amazing. The truffle butter was a great touch always. When in doubt, always get the truffle butter. Chimichurri also always a great choice. Truffle fries were wonderful and so was the mac and cheese. The bag o donuts for dessert were very tasty. The decor was dated, the sealant on the tables was peeling, the bathroom stalls were the cheapest I've ever seen. The theme is "not your father's steakhouse" so they have a Dj playing loud dance music all the time. We didn't realize it would be that loud on a Saturday afternoon. The music would have been more tolerable if we had food in a reasonable amount of time. Sitting for 65 minutes without eating anything and being unable to talk to anyone was terrible. When we got there. the hostess said we would be seated upstairs to watch the game and that Griday night wouldn't have Happy hour specials. A waitress then sat us downstairs where there was no TV. She initially told us that we couldn't have "match day" specials - but got approval from the manager. then another waiter came and we had to ask again for it. the music was extremely loud - i can understand if the restaurant was full but it was half empty. the waiter seemed uninterested that we were ordering off the march day specials and came to us once towards the end to refill our drinksz the food came out and wasn't even warm. i'll never ever go here again with the bait and switch, horrible service, and sub par food. don't waste your time here. read more
