Came in for breakfast and the food was very good! It's kind of an unassuming / outdated diner, but they nailed a couple of breakfast classics! I would eat here again! Service was fine, our waitress was nice, but not terribly attentive despite it not being super busy.

Plan to stay here a while. It was great! The bartenders were so efficient from the moment I got there at 5pm. There was a small rush but I was greeted right away. I ordered happy hour food and it came out very hot and very tasty. We had spaghetti and sliders. Those meatballs were amazing! Food prices were very fair. The band that night was great and they played country and rock covers from the 70's and 80's. Big space for the stage and enough room for a dozen people dancing. I stayed until midnight but could have stayed a lot longer if I didn't have an early morning. Can't wait to go back for another big Friday night!

i've lived In maple valley my whole life and I went to Stocktons for the first like last month and i have now gone 3 more times. Each time the staff is super responsive and the food comes out extremely fast, portions are big too. The biscuits and gravy are sooo good, and there fry's are super crispy. Wish they had some signature cocktails but besides that I love this place!!

Steak salad,Noodle bowl and bay shrimp with boyfriend! Love this place, Love the Service Thanks Maggie!

For the price, the food was average. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing stood out either. What really impacted our experience was the service toward the end of our visit. Our reservation started at 5:45 PM, and we had until 7:45 PM. However, around 7:15 PM, a waitress began repeatedly staring at our table, making it feel like we were being rushed out before our allotted time was up. We were celebrating a birthday and hadn't even finished dessert, but the atmosphere became uncomfortable enough that we decided to leave early. Guests should be able to enjoy their full dining time without feeling pressured to leave. Overall, the experience didn't justify the cost, and unfortunately we wouldn't return.

Sushi, hibachi, seafood, dim sum, noodles, salads, American comfort food for the unadventurous -- it's all here. And then there's the monstrous dessert island in the center, stacked with cakes, ice cream, bubble waffles, fruit, a chocolate fountain, and more things than you can reasonably justify eating in one visit. The seating area looks like it could handle a small stadium crowd, yet the flow is shockingly smooth. Even with hundreds of people inside, the buffet lines never feel chaotic -- unless lobster or crab legs appear, at which point all laws of physics and courtesy temporarily stop applying. The one real weak spot is the bathrooms. It's obvious the staff focuses their energy on flipping tables and keeping the buffet spotless, because the restrooms don't get the same attention. They're not disastrous, but they're definitely the least polished part of the experience. Large parties and celebrations are almost always happening -- sometimes several at once -- but they're impressively non‑disruptive. The place is loud, lively, and busy, but never in a way that ruins your meal.

This custom was preserved in Sweden and gradually evolved into the Smörgåsbord (Scandinavian cold buffet), which is the direct and continuous ancestor of the modern buffet. · France (18th-19th century): The French adopted the word "Buffet" (originally meaning a sideboard or serving table) to describe this self‑service style of dining and promoted it among high society. · Perfection in Japan: The modern buffet model we know today--featuring cold dishes, hot dishes, desserts, and a wide variety of options--was established by the Imperial Hotel Tokyo in 1958. · Las Vegas: The now‑popular "all‑you‑can‑eat" model originated in Las Vegas, USA, in the 1940s. Casinos offered cheap or even free buffets to keep gamblers on the premises, a strategy that quickly became widespread. · Introduction to China: The buffet was introduced to China in the 1930s, initially appearing only in foreign‑funded hotels. It was not until the late 1980s that it reached the general public through tourist joint‑venture hotels. Here's the English translation of your review: Ambience: This buffet restaurant seems to have been around for a long time. You can tell it was quite luxurious about 10 years ago. Relatively speaking, it's still fairly clean. Taste: There is a huge variety of options, covering dozens of items including Chinese stir-fried dishes, Western food, Japanese cuisine, teppanyaki, fruit, seafood, salad, as well as drinks and ice cream. I mainly tried the Chinese stir-fried dishes, boiled shrimp, and teppanyaki. Considering the price per person, I think every item met my expectations. Service - unexpectedly good: From asking how many people in our party at the entrance, to guiding us to a table and asking if the seat was comfortable, to explaining the dining process, and clearing plates during the meal - all of it was very good. Room for improvement: Some of the items are pre-made dishes that only need simple deep-frying or grilling. Pre-made dishes can be categorized into a few types: easy to cook, easy to eat, easy to heat. Based on my experience in the industry, the essence of pre-made dishes is really an issue of trust. If the selection is done properly and customers don't experience any adverse reactions after eating, then it's a good business.

The rest of the food was a 1 or 2 star depending on what you get. I was shocked how poor the actual Chinese food was. It was mushy, dry or just bland. The other options like pizza, pot roast or chicken looked ok too. Plenty of seating, just need to be willing to walk around and look in all the side rooms. So off we go to check it out. It's right off the freeway, I forget which one since I'm not driving. The buffet is located in a shopping center with lots of parking. I think there's a Thai restaurant across the parking lot from here. We go in and wow, this is a nicer buffet than most other one's I've been to. The dining area is very large and clean. I see the prices on a sign. Looks like about $30 for dinner, plus they add the tip of 10%. I guess that's about standard to leave for a tip at a self serve buffet. We get seated and head up to the buffet. Looks like they have a big sushi section and a Mongolian grill section as well. Looking at all the food, I'd say the quality is better than most buffet I go to in CA. The dishes just look better. I'm gonna say in general, the food in the Seattle is a higher quality and more foodie oriented than down where I live. I even tried some of the sushi and it was seemed as good as any all you can eat place. Normally sushi at a buffet is something I avoid. I had ribs and some shellfish seafood and various other American Chinese foods. I did see a few more authentic dishes that I couldn't exactly tell what it was, so I guess it means it was authentic! The price was a little higher than what I'm used to, but the quality and size of the buffet made it worth it.

Because they charge the 10% upfront, it really felt like the servers weren't motivated to check on tables. My hot water cup stayed empty most of the meal, and I couldn't find anyone to refill it. The dim sum area was also mostly empty. Chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, and other items were gone for long stretches, and some dishes looked like they hadn't been refreshed in a while. Several entrées were empty and not refilled promptly. They also charge extra for soda, coffee, and tea, which adds even more to the cost. If you live on the Eastside and want Chinese food with some sushi without driving far, this place is convenient. But if you have time, I'd skip this and go to Feast Buffet in Renton -- it's much bigger, has way more variety, includes drinks in the price.
