This place is fantastic for large parties. Dinner can get very busy so when I order for the family, I like to take it to go and eat at home. Our favorite is the whole chicken and tri-tip crowd pleaser (feeds about 6-7 people), which comes with a choice of lemon garlic or bbq chicken, bbq or lemon pepper tri-tip steak, choice of salad and 18 breadsticks. We love the lemon garlic chicken and the lemon pepper tri-tip, which are both tender and juicy, not dry like other bbq restaurants. Oh and we can never forget their garlic mashed potatoes, so good! Price is fairly reasonable and they have plenty of seating area inside and out. Definitely worth the wait, they haven't disappointment us yet! read more

As I approached the door and an extremely rude young lady ordered me to go back to my car without asking me anything and said that she would approach me when she was ready. I walked back to my car. She came to my window and asked who I'm picking up for. I told her I haven't ordered yet. Her response is, "Oh, then you can go inside..."...??? So I walked in and ordered a small cobb salad w/chicken and added quinoa. They charged me $18.05 and the charge for the chicken is hidden in the total price so that you cannot see how much the additional charge is. That's deceptive. Also, they make me sign the receipt with a pen when we are in a pandemic and I paid with a debit card. On top of that, they did not give me any napkins or utensils and I had already left the parking lot only to discover the missing utensils and napkins when I got back home. I literally just moved and have nothing at my new place yet. Am I supposed to eat my salad with my hands and then wipe my hands on my shirt??? What kind of BS is this? read more

Have tried sandwiches several times, including the caprese, and just find the taste to be mediocre at best. The bread is terribly dry, to the point I left most of the bread on the plate. This has been my experience here multiple times. The potato chips were kind of meh also. Also find it unusual that they ask for a tip on the receipt I guess for bringing you your food to your table. But they don't bring any utensils. So I have to get up and grab napkin, fork, etc. I mean, why even ask for a tip if you're not even gonna bring silverware to the table with the salad. Lastly, I guess I'm in the minority as it gets pretty packed at this place at lunchtime, so people must like it. As a result though it is loud as hell. Hard to have a conversation. My sister and I decided to come in here for lunch, since I was hungry after my workout. I ordered the works pizza and she ordered the French dip au jus. The pizza was meh, it was too doughy for me. I would rather get Costco pizza or dominos. My sister's French dip au jus was literally all meat, which she enjoyed because she is a meat lover. The restaurant was SO COLD, maybe it's because we sat near the door to go in and out of the patio seats. We asked the servers to close the door, they did and it was so much better! We usually place an order for pickup and get it on our way home from work. Their small BBQ chopped salad with chicken is our go-to and we get the dressing and tortilla strips on the side. It lasts about two days for my husband and I. We also get half an order of breadsticks but the salad alone is very filling. Sometimes my husband gets pizza or tri-tip and those are all good as well. My only issue is that when I arrive to pickup my order, there's a bunch of other people gathered in the same area so it's difficult to determine where to stand if you're waiting for your order or if you've been helped already. Had dinner last night . very disappointed for several reasons. I've eaten here for years. first of all, masks were required, I am fine with this, not a problem for me. Employees were masked and cleaned table after diners left the table. However, proof of vaccination was not. (McDonalds, The Stand, The Habit and Pollo Loco require proof) I've been vaccinated twice and got booster, what about the other diners eating there? Other diners repeatedly went to refill drinks, get plates, utensils and bbq sauce without masks or masks below noses., even going to the restrooms with out masks. was very busy, every table was taken. A young man wiped his nose with his hand and then used the pump for the bbq sauce. yuck Vaccination proof should be required, especially with omicron.,, for the protection of their employees and customers. Delicious! I had the salmon and it was large and flavorful! My husband had the tri tip which was tender and delicious! A must-eat place! Birthday lunch for my little brother was a success! I cannot say enough good things about this location. We have a Stonefire closer to home, but were in the area and my brother loves his BBQ. For our party of 6, we went with the whole tri-tip, whole chicken, & whole rack of ribs. We did half and half on the tri tip- half BBQ, and half garlic butter, and for the chicken- half BBQ, and half lemon garlic. The crowd pleaser also came with a salad of your choice (we went with caesar) and 12 breadsticks. We were so impressed with our meal! Everything was super delicious, fresh, and portions were so generous, we had plenty of yummy leftovers to take home. For our party of 6, including drinks- our total came out to $104 before tip. Such a good price for all the food you're getting. The caesar was amazing, tasted super fresh and they are so generous with the cheese, dressing, and croutons. The garlic breadsticks are to die for! Probably my favorite of all time! The tri tip was delicious, my new fav was the garlic butter! And the sauce on the lemon garlic chicken was sooooo good! So juicy & such good flavor as well! I'm not a rib person but everybody in party said they were amazing and went for seconds! So pleased with the wonderful customer service as well! After my first experience here I decided to try another take our order in hopes that it would be better. I ordered two salads to go and when I got there they were still making the salads. When I got them i checked the bag and it looked like I was missing some ingredients so I asked about it and the lady working the front said oh ya they are there. When I got back to work I opened my salad and noticed that the sun-dried tomato's were missing. This usually wouldn't bother me but I paid to add them on to my salad. To make it worse the woman told me that they were on there. The quality of the salad was also subpar I ended up throwing half of it away. Stonefire used to serve pretty tasty casual BBQ fare but the quality has significantly dropped over the past few years. The tri-tip roast was formerly delicious, juicy, and full of beefy flavor; now the tri-tip is dry, anemic, colorless, and practically inedible unless it is doused in BBQ sauce or eaten with the side dishes. It honestly looked gray and pretty sad sitting in its take-out container. The sides are not that great, either, with the beans tasting out of place in a BBQ restaurant and the garlic mashed potatoes being ordinary. The breadsticks do taste fresh and have a soft/chewy interior with a buttery mildly crusty exterior, but I'd say that it's a problem if the bread outshines everything else on the menu. The pizzas are also mediocre and offer neither the flavors of a brick oven wood-fired pie or a mass-produced but satisfying pizza from Papa John's. You'll also do a double-take when looking at the bill and wondering how you paid so much for such average food. There must be better options for traditional BBQ in the San Fernando Valley. read more

Haven't been there in a while and quiet honestly I'm not too impressed. I decided to go to the unhealthy route today and get a pizza. I got their favorite pizza and I added sausage and chicken to it. Pizza came out quiet late and it was very oily and greasy and didn't really have any taste to it. I tried to add some Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes but that didn't help. We had a big group and I'm sure it was overwhelming but it was just bland. Service was good. Staff did brought out all the food and helped us get what we wanted. Bread sticks were okay, I think the quality from the winnetka location is different from the Woodland Hills one. We sat outside and it was nice for our party. Started by ordering at counter, where we were helped by Philip B., who is better looking than anyone I know, and probably anyone you know. We're talking hair, eyes, beard and jawline. At a time when our country is being torn apart by deep divisions, can we all agree that Philip B. is handsome beyond belief? I think so. As for the food -- excellent. I had the BBQ chicken breast, nutty coleslaw and breadsticks. Especially loved the slaw -- not the sweet, mayonnaise-ey type, but like a chopped salad with peanuts -- yum. And the breadsticks -- parmesan crusted! Yum again. The one missing star is because this is a lively family place -- think children -- and I prefer quiet. They have it in 2 different flavors one is garlic 1 is barbecue I like them both so I ask for half and half, they do that The food portion is huge so make sure u ask how many people it fills for the portion you order and you might need to think it throw we order the Medium size and that feeds 4 people The service is sometimes on spot and some times little slower and they forget things but if they do they Compensate you one way or another I will keep going to stonefire cuz the food is good!!! While the food here is generally pretty good, the service is definitely lacking. I came here with my family and some family friends last night for dinner and had a very disappointing experience. When we got there, the place was packed and we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait for a table. The girl taking names for the tables said we shouldn't order right then because the food would be ready before the table, and suggested we wait outside. We told her we would be waiting outside and to let us know when the table was ready, which she said she would. After waiting and waiting, I decided to go and check on how much longer it would be. The girl said the table was ready and had been open for about 5-10 minutes. She never let us know that the table was ready and instead let us wait around outside in the cold, which was really annoying. I ordered the ribs and tri tip combination for my dinner, and asked for the tri tip to be medium rare. My dad ordered the same exact thing. It took about 10 minutes or so for the food to come, and when it came, the tri tip was beyond well done. It was dry, completely cooked through, and was somewhat burnt on the outside. My dad's was the same. We had to flag someone down to ask for some new tri tip that was properly cooked. After waiting about 10 more minutes, the waitress brought back some new tri tip. While my dad's was medium rare this time, mine was still well done. We had to call over the manager. While the manager offered to try yet again to have my order cooked properly, I just asked for our money back for my meal. At that point, I was so annoyed by the whole thing that I didn't want to wait yet again for more food, and the rest of our party was done eating. The whole experience was very disappointing. This is not the first time that we've had problems like this here. In fact, it seems to happen about 50% of the time. I think I will be heading down the street to Wood Ranch instead the next time I want BBQ. read more

Thank you staff at this location! During the pandemic, I have ordered maybe about 5 times, big meals for my family. Curbside pickup is easy, except plan on waiting up to 30 mins past your pick up time. Food doesn't come out right away, but staff does their best to be accommodating. It depends the time and day you're picking up. I'm sure it's not easy running around back and forth all day taking out orders. So thank you very much for staying open during these times. Unfortunately this will be my first bad review. It started well enough but we waited, and waited, and waited and in between the waits we asked two separate servers about our order. The first one said it will be ready in a few minutes and 20 mins later we asked again...still nothing. 50 mins later I spoke to the manager and said we would like a full refund. She gave us a full refund and asked if we would we still liked our meal, I said no. In hindsight I should have said yes but the experience just was soured all around. So I cannot attest to the meal but the drinks were the run of the mill sodas, the salad was decent and the breadsticks good. This place has amazing food just horrible service. The mangers at this point should be fired. I have had multiple issues with their curbside pickup over the last two years. There lack of timing to have an order ready is ridiculous . Yesterday I came to pick an order up that my wife had placed 1-1/2 prior and asked for it to be ready for five pm pickup was a joke. Showed up paid and then no order found completely lost I was asked to wait outside a few minutes which turned into 25 minutes and then I returned inside and asked what was taking so long ? The counter guy spoke to a manager who never apologized for being late nor the inconvenience.
