Got a chance to drive out of Bakersfield and ended up here for lunch. The place is not crowded so we got to place our orders quick. We had a small size baked Rigatoni with meat sauce, 1/2 serving of garlic bread sticks and small SF salad with tri-tips and grilled chicken with pesto dressing on the side. All for $30 with drinks included. We were seated at a booth while we waited for the food to arrive. I was very surprised for the huge portions that they are serving! The small baked rigatoni can feed 3 people, the salad weighs maybe 3lbs and almost overflowing from that stainless "small" bowl. There's like 6pcs of breadsticks that are 6 inches long each. That amount of food can easily feed 6 people.:) there's only 3 of us there and so we had tons of take out for dinner. Not bad for $30.:) As for the taste, the salad was great.:) i liked it even without the pesto dressing. I love that the picture for this place is breadsticks because they really do have the BEST breadsticks. They're absolutely perfect. I could probably just eat 10 of them and call it my lunch. The portions here for the pastas and salads are super generous. If you're going here with a friend you could EASILY split a small. My faves are: BBQ Chopped Salad, Italian Chopped Salad, and the Macaroni & Cheese. The M&C is one of my favorites in the valley. I WISH I knew how they made the cheesy sauce because it is SO good. Seriously, I'm dying to know what's in it. It's just way better than your average mac. This place is great for sharing! I've never actually eaten at the restaurant because I always order for pick up. I usually get tri tip, breadsticks and the south of the border salad there. All AMAZING. I highly recommend those three items together. It is a little bit on the pricier side but it is perfect for sharing and really fills you up. They have four different sizes of salads and the breadsticks come in orders of either 6 or 12 or you can just get one or two single ones to accompany your meal. It takes about 15-30 minutes for your order to be ready depending on what you order. Very convenient with never any waiting. This stonefire is located in the same plaza as the Pacific Winnetka Theaters so it's a perfect place to come to before or after watching a movie. After my last update, I was contacted by Stone Fire and they told me they take feedback very seriously and would inform their staff about my complaints. I LOVE that they listen to their customers, so few places seem to care. Since then I have gone back a couple times. I would say there is a slight improvement in toppings added, but more importantly the staff is eager to please when we ask for more. I would say the quality is still not quite as good as maybe a couple years ago, but we still love this place (especially for the value). We still get the same combo every time (tri-tip with pepper garlic butter and boneless chicken with lemon garlic, greek salad, & 2 breadsticks) and it easily feeds two, usually there's leftovers. Another favorite, when it's in season, is the grilled white corn on the cob (I wish they had this all the time)! Thanks Stonefire and we'll be back! read more

I came here with my coworkers a few months ago, but I left off on writing a review because I really wasn't sure what my opinion was! I just came again today and I've decided that my overall feeling on Stonefire Grill is that their food is bland. I tried the tortilla soup which reminds me a little of CPK. It had some chicken and tortilla strips, but otherwise it was just a puree. I prefer my tortilla soup to have chunks of veggies in a broth with some tortilla strips on top. I felt like I had to add a ton of salt to the soup to give it some life and make it more palatable. Same with their french dip sandwich which was bland meat with a flavorless au jus. The beef was kind of grey colored, had no seasoning and just didn't seem like very high quality. It tasted cow-y, if that makes any sense. On the plus side, I like their breadsticks and mashed potatoes (just watch out for the whole garlic cloves if you are going back to the office!). So why the three stars? I think the people who work here are super nice and helpful. My coworkers also seem to like it here, so I will give them another try. Just try to avoid coming at peak lunch hours because there is often time a line almost out the door! read more

I recently made a 65th birthday party for my husband and used Stonefire Grill in Chatsworth to cater it. I had to take several dietary restrictions into account and I chose Stone Fire Grill as a friend had just used them for a gathering I attended. The food was delicious, but more impressive was the staff and the manager's attention to detail and their undying patience with me. I added to the order two or three times, including the day of the event and they were nothing but gracious and accommodating. There was more than enough food for everyone. I thought I had a review for this place up here but I guess I didn't My family, friends and I have been going here for years. I don't know if it was just with my last visit or if it has changed like this for the worst. I placed a to go order inside. It was not clear who was on line waiting to place an order, where to pick up your order, and who was there to actually eat in the restaurant. To top it off the sound was horrible. They were blasting music and the room is 1 big space so the sound was really bad where I had difficulty hearing my order and had to have it repeated a few times. I was told the wait would be about 10 minutes but it ended up being more like 25-30 minutes. I started to think that someone else got my order since I had waited so long. When I finally was able to talk to one of the people working there, my food was out there the whole time but not placed in the to go bags yet. While my food was still warm, it wan't hot. I also discovered once we went home that they do not include utensils anymore. You need to ask for them. I wish the girl who bagged it up actually asked me because I didn't think about it until I got the food out of the bag. We had tri tip and the slices really should have also been cut much thinner than they were. The beans also aren't really bbq baked beans which I thought they would be (even though I've been going for years, I never had their beans). The beans taste more like a vegetarian chili than anything else. I used to have this place listed as a 4-5 star restaurant on here but due to the customer service and overall experience, it's not that appealing anymore. read more

Food here is why you return, not the service necessarily. The service is variable depending on day, time, staff, and take out versus eat in. Take out is difficult at best. You can call in an order but it may not be ready nor do you feel appropriate cutting all the guests waiting to order. I love Caesar and they're dressing is the best by far! Garlic and deliciousness. The lemon garlic salmon is lemon and garlic haven with as much garlic as a garlic lover could dream of. The bbq meat is delicious and their sauce is just enough smoke and sweet to hit all the right notes. I have yet to have a bad food experience, just try to dine in rather than take out. read more

We pre ordered for mother's day take out. The employees were understandably rushed but nice. The food was delicious. We are social distancing so we couldn't really go anywhere. Since I loved their food in the past we decided to try again. Unfortunately, I took off one star off because the online order stated to call 45 minutes before heading to restaurant to pick up food. We tried to call several times from 1 hour before until our pick up time and still the phone line was busy. My husband arrived for our assigned pick up time but still had to wait another half hour for the food. It was very busy. We almost did curbside pick up but if you can't reach the restaurant then what's the point of curbside if you can't reach anyone? We aren't sure what happened. read more

I've only been to S.F.G. maybe 5 times my whole life. I went for the first time about 3 months ago and I was hooked. I've always gone to the Fallbrook location and today I googled the palce while in Reseda and realized theres one closer, so just got back a few hours ago. The food is awesome and very reasonably priced. The only thing I didnt like about this location was the Fallbrook location is much bigger and spread out more. Yesterday I went to picked up food at the Stonefire Grill, Winnetka location. I was there to pick up my order at the promised time, but had to wait 20 minutes more in parking lot. My bill was $111.31 they charged me and I signed the bill. DONE! when I came home, they added 20% on top of my bill. The bank charged has changed to $133.57. They added 20% after my signature! This is wrong! They did not informed me nor it was on the receipt! I'm very upset and I feel that the are shady. I'm ok, if its stated on the receipt. Where do I begin!? First of all everything is priced just right! I got the salmon with a side of beans and wasnt really expecting the beans to be good but holy guacamole..... they were bomb they had some sort of beef in them and theyre sweet so its like sweet and savory! But the salmon itself was amazing I always like to try salmon and I've been heavily disappointed before but this place knows what its doing!!!!!
