After my last update, I was contacted by Stone Fire and they told me they take feedback very seriously and would inform their staff about my complaints. I LOVE that they listen to their customers, so few places seem to care. Since then I have gone back a couple times. I would say there is a slight improvement in toppings added, but more importantly the staff is eager to please when we ask for more. I would say the quality is still not quite as good as maybe a couple years ago, but we still love this place (especially for the value). We still get the same combo every time (tri-tip with pepper garlic butter and boneless chicken with lemon garlic, greek salad, & 2 breadsticks) and it easily feeds two, usually there's leftovers. Another favorite, when it's in season, is the grilled white corn on the cob (I wish they had this all the time)! Thanks Stonefire and we'll be back! read more

Went there for lunch with my coworkers today, but I unfortunately encountered a rude, short, older bald man at the counter who took my order. Just want him to know that there are other ways to tell a customer if you can't hear them and different ways to tell someone to wait then being rude. Vegan friendly. I've been here a couple times already and the food is actually pretty good. The menu labels what is vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. They have a variety of options for various diets and lifestyles such as pizzas, pitas, breadsticks, salads, and baked cauliflower. I normally love coming here but today there was a computer glitch and my pizza was missing sausage they said they were going to fix it. I cringed with what this could mean. They did something a rookie did at a pizza joint they put sausage on it like it would stick anyone take cooking 101 food doesn't stick if wasnt cooked together in the first place how would it survive the drive and walk to my apartment it wouldn't duh. Decided to go have dinner with my family. First of all, the cashier was rude, didn't greet us and was giving attitude when I was ordering. After about 10 minutes we get our food but not all of it. We had to remind the lady three times that we still had more food my niece who is 2 years old didn't get her chicken tenders until about 25 min after we got our food and I even had to go and remind them a fourth time and they're response was always "they'll be out shorty" not just that when they brought them out the tenders were burned. read more

Dont get me wrong, I love this restaurant. Affordable prices, good food, satisfying. We usually order our food here to go/take out. BUT, today, we decided to eat on this location, it was just so disappointing. First, pls check your sound system. The music is great, but the speakers? Oh my gawd. It sounds like its coming from the inside of a can, muffled, annoying. Second, the ladies bathroom! There was an underwear on the floor and a dirty toilet. Dinner or meal time should be a happy, nice moment to be with your family. But I ended up stressed out and unhappy and if I must say it ruined my night. Horrible drive up service they're clueless to what car comes first then have people walking up taking the service of the two people they have serving orders. Horrible management sat in my car for 15 minutes before anyone actually came back to my car waited 25 minutes for food that was ready 25 minutes prior. This place has always had such horrible management I've sworn never to come here about 3 maybe 4 times this will be another. Get your restaurant together management! read more

I came here with my coworkers a few months ago, but I left off on writing a review because I really wasn't sure what my opinion was! I just came again today and I've decided that my overall feeling on Stonefire Grill is that their food is bland. I tried the tortilla soup which reminds me a little of CPK. It had some chicken and tortilla strips, but otherwise it was just a puree. I prefer my tortilla soup to have chunks of veggies in a broth with some tortilla strips on top. I felt like I had to add a ton of salt to the soup to give it some life and make it more palatable. Same with their french dip sandwich which was bland meat with a flavorless au jus. The beef was kind of grey colored, had no seasoning and just didn't seem like very high quality. It tasted cow-y, if that makes any sense. On the plus side, I like their breadsticks and mashed potatoes (just watch out for the whole garlic cloves if you are going back to the office!). So why the three stars? I think the people who work here are super nice and helpful. My coworkers also seem to like it here, so I will give them another try. Just try to avoid coming at peak lunch hours because there is often time a line almost out the door! read more

I thought I had a review for this place up here but I guess I didn't My family, friends and I have been going here for years. I don't know if it was just with my last visit or if it has changed like this for the worst. I placed a to go order inside. It was not clear who was on line waiting to place an order, where to pick up your order, and who was there to actually eat in the restaurant. To top it off the sound was horrible. They were blasting music and the room is 1 big space so the sound was really bad where I had difficulty hearing my order and had to have it repeated a few times. I was told the wait would be about 10 minutes but it ended up being more like 25-30 minutes. I started to think that someone else got my order since I had waited so long. When I finally was able to talk to one of the people working there, my food was out there the whole time but not placed in the to go bags yet. While my food was still warm, it wan't hot. I also discovered once we went home that they do not include utensils anymore. You need to ask for them. I wish the girl who bagged it up actually asked me because I didn't think about it until I got the food out of the bag. We had tri tip and the slices really should have also been cut much thinner than they were. The beans also aren't really bbq baked beans which I thought they would be (even though I've been going for years, I never had their beans). The beans taste more like a vegetarian chili than anything else. I used to have this place listed as a 4-5 star restaurant on here but due to the customer service and overall experience, it's not that appealing anymore. read more

Food here is why you return, not the service necessarily. The service is variable depending on day, time, staff, and take out versus eat in. Take out is difficult at best. You can call in an order but it may not be ready nor do you feel appropriate cutting all the guests waiting to order. I love Caesar and they're dressing is the best by far! Garlic and deliciousness. The lemon garlic salmon is lemon and garlic haven with as much garlic as a garlic lover could dream of. The bbq meat is delicious and their sauce is just enough smoke and sweet to hit all the right notes. I have yet to have a bad food experience, just try to dine in rather than take out. read more

I never thought I would love a bread/bbq sauce combo more than I do from Wood Ranch BBQ, but holy carb-loading Batman...these breadsticks dipped in BBQ sauce is fan-freaking-tastic!! Aside from committing carbocide, the other dishes offered here are pretty darn great. I came here with a large party and we ordered basically everything, from the tri-tip, chicken & baby back ribs to the garlic mashed potatoes and whole roasted cauliflower (much better than I imagined TBH). Everything was really great and I just found myself eating more and more. They also have pastas and pizzas and salads, which I can't wait to try at some point. I can only hope that they'll open a location near the West LA/Culver/SM area, but until then, I'll gladly drive to the valley or even Thousand Oaks to get my STONEFIRE FIX!!!! read more

I absolutely love Stonefire!! The quadruple threat is what you want to go for: pesto pasta, BBQ tritip, breadsticks and mashed potatoes! You might be asking, why order pesto pasta? My friend, you want the mind blowing experience? Words cannot describe the deliciousness. Here's my advice, if you're rolling solo or duo, get the tri tip as an individual meal (you get 2 breadsticks and a small side of mashed potatoes) and then order a large pesto pasta. I don't normally write yelp reviews but I had to after my encounter today. Overall, the food was good, but Suzanna from the takeout area was simply the worst. She was very rude to me. I asked if she could repeat my order back to me and Susanna rolled her eyes and sighed right in front of me. After I got my food I told her to have a good day and she looked at me and ignored me!!! Very good food but the space has poor acoustics and is so packed you'll be waiting and then pouncing on the next available table like a wild thing. It triggers claustrophobic feelings for me with the cramped, loud space, and bad acoustics. Love the garlic bread, barbecue sauce, garlic chicken, tri-tip and caesar salad. BBQ sauce is so good I put it on everything including the bread. We had the pizza once and it was very good too. read more

This time I was good And resisted the temptation of the yummy breadsticks. I had the tri tip BBQ chopped salad--always dressed with just the right amount of dressing and providing plenty of crunchy yummy-ness. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this establishment . The service is pretty great. They always give me what I need and never have an attitude. Also the portions are huge and always a decent price. The ribs are to die for and also their chicken is delish. I could eat their breadstick everyday if I can but that would probably give me a heart attack. Went with a friend for lunch today. This was my first time at this location. Nice and clean and roomy inside. We opted to sit in the patio outside. Big and bright..nice ambiance BUT huge mistake. I felt like they just forget about the people who dine out there. No one, and I mean No one came to check on us. When we needed something, we had to get up from our table, more then once, and track a server down. My salad was delish but my friend's salad came without the chicken. After waiting and tracking someone down, they brought out the chicken separately. OMG why did it smell rotten? And only after we both took a bite of it! So it took another 20 minutes to get someone to remove it from our table. Service here is non existent if you sit on the patio. And maybe part of the problem is all of the servers congregating at the back tables near the restrooms, like they are all on a break at once....like 6 of them! This location lacks management or at least it did today. And to serve rotten chicken too? I can't say that I will be back. read more

They have different portion sizes that can cater to your parties needs and the customer service was spectacular! Rianna in particular had a smile from eye to eye and the sweetest soul.
