It's OK. Not my first choice. But its quick most of the time. My wife usually drop in for a quick lunch every once in a while. It just seems the staff is either not trained enough or knowledgeable enough to provide good and consistent customer service. Here is a summary of our last visit yesterday. Order taker on the far left by the take out counter waived me over to take my order. It was very noisy in this area. The workers in the Take Out section were very loud talking back and forth to each other. Eventually she was able to take my order. Unfortunately, when she read it back to me it was all wrong. I ordered a Lunch BBQ Chopped Salad with chicken and lettuce wrap cheeseburger with no onions or tomatoes; two drinks, and 3 extra garlic breads. She read back this and had an extra lunch BBQ Chopped Salad with Salmon in addition. I corrected her and contributed it to the noisy Take Out counter staff next to her. She corrected and I paid. We sat at our table and waited. My wife's salad came out quickly. She asked for extra ranch dressing. My lettuce wrapped cheeseburger showed up about 5 mins later. Still no ranch dressing, so she asked again. I also discover my cheeseburger is drenched in grilled onions. When the ranch dressing finally came out, I let the server know they had added onions to my cheeseburger. He apologized and said he would have another made. 12 mins later, my cheeseburger finally showed up. The server walks away as I open the cheeseburger to discover there is no cheese on the cheeseburger. I have to track down another server to let them know. We tell them to just bring us the cheese slices. 10 mins later, he finally shows up with two cheese slices. By this time my wife had finished her salad and she had to get back to work. As I started to dig into my cheeseburger, I realized that meat was not juicy at all. Both patties appeared to over cooked or reheated to the point that they were dried out. I did not enjoy this meal. During the time also, a young girl that appeared to be in a management position walked by our booth twice (white dress with a pink or coral floral print). The first time before my replacement cheeseburger came out. The second time after it was given to me. She did not acknowledge or ask how our meal was. I would have let her know the issues if she would have talked to us. Disappointing for a newer restaurant in the area to already to falling into a rut. Customer Service is king in my book. I had really high hopes for this place based off of the Yelp reviews and how great the food looked in the pics. Unfortunately Stonefire Grill was a total let down. We ordered the Boneless Chicken Breast (Lemon Garlic) w/ Tri Tip (Mesquite BBQ) and the Tri Tip (Pepper Garlic) and Ribs which we thought would give us a good taste of the different seasoned meats Stonefire Grill offers. Unfortunately all 4 meats we ordered had absolutely no flavor. In fact if the Gorgonzola butter that came on the Pepper Garlic Tri Tip wasn't on there we wouldn't have been able to distinguish between the 2 Tri Tips we ordered as they both tasted the exact same! Both Tri Tips tasted as if they were thrown into the oven to roast w/ no seasoning or marinade. Same goes for the ribs which were extremely tough. My wife and I both agreed that the ribs were the absolute worst that we have EVER had. Not even a hint of salt on either. There was no taste of smoke on any the meats even though Stonefire claims they are finished over a "live mesquite fire". We went in hopes of having good quality meat cooked over a live fire or grill but Stonefire fell way short in this area. The chicken strips we ordered for the kids were pretty bad too, our kids didn't care for them and after having a bite I could understand why. They tasted extremely bland with a crisp outside but an extremely soft almost mushy texture inside. The side options for this kids are pretty bad and limited too...choice of a breadstick (which was extremely greasy and garlicky), mashed potatoes, mandarin orange fruit cup, or carrots and celery. The kids meal quality and taste was on par with the food served in a school cafeteria. The only redeeming aspect of our experience was that the salads were actually pretty good (both the Caesar and the Greek) and that the food came out quick. Other than that I highly doubt we would be back considering our bill was close to $50 for a sub par meal. read more

I love their healthy hybrid salad, it's so yummy. Their tri-tip steak is a hit and miss. Sometimes the meat is super flavorful and soft but other times the meat is chewy like rubber and has no flavor. I'll still continue to visit them as I love their salads but it would be nice to see them have some consistency in cooking the meat. read more

The food was decent but what really made the total experience delightful was the attentive and quick service given by our server Esmeralda. She retained an extremely positive attitude and was quick to bring everything from extra napkins to our meals. Most importantly, what impressed us all about the young lady was her positivity and kind remarks after each order. Every 5 minutes she would come around to see if any of us needed anything. Overall I am overly impressed with her optimistic serive which in itself demands 5 stars. Wow some of the best tri tip I have ever had! My fiancée and I went here for lunch and were very impressed. We ordered a tri tip meal that included a half a pound of tri tip, salad, breadsticks, and a side (we chose garlic mashed potatoes). The meal was delicious and a great deal, we had plenty of food to eat that day and another 2 lunches in leftovers. I highly recommend the garlic mashed potatoes, tri tip and the bbq sauce. We even bought some bbq sauce, took it home, made our own ribs and slathered them in Stonefire Grill sauce! read more

The food was decent. We got a family meal with ribs and Tri tip. Sides of Caesar salad and mac and cheese. Ribs cooked be more tender and felt kind of dry. Tri tip was nicely seasoned and cooked properly. Mac and cheese could use a tweak in the cheese used, felt like it was lacking something. Caesar salad was perfect with crisp lettuce and great dressing. OMG try the burger if they still have it, also the avacado pizza is super yummy. We love this place, the salad portions are huge, can't go wrong with either sauces on the salmon & tri tip. It's not a normal restaurant where you sit then order, its very casual you stand in line to order your meal then sit, get your own plates, drinks kinda like a buffet, when the food is ready they serve it to you. If you are looking for a restaurant that values customer service and good food, this is not it. It is not a restaurant with waiters. You order your food at a service (more like lack-of-service) counter. They give you a token that alerts the servers where your table is located. Turns out they gave us a token with a dead battery and instead of walking around looking for the token, let our food sit. When they did locate us and brought our ribs and beans, they were lukewarm at best. Rather than go into all the details of trying to get some of the food heated, suffice it to say the customer service deserves a one star at best. Abby was being very friendly when we ordered our meal and helped us put things together as well as making sure we knew where to find everything. My first experience with this restaurant far better than my most recent visit at this location. I'm sorry to say that the best part of our visit was when we ordered. I had the 9" favorite, also ordered cauliflower salad as suggested by others, daughter had chicken pesto, and hubby had ribs. I placed an order at 6:04 and they told me it would be ready by 6:54, which is quite a good amount of wait time. We show up at 7:00 and the food wasn't ready.
