Stone Fire Grill is one of our favorites. With quality food at reasonable prices, it is definitely worth the drive from Lancaster. We usually stick with our usual bbq tri tip with lemon garlic boneless chicken breast. We get the garlic mashed potatoes with the tossed Greek salad and extra bread sticks on the side. Also ask for sides of the Caesar dressing which plays as a dipping sauce for the bread sticks and tri tip (along with bbq sauce). The wait is never very long at all especially considering how busy they can be. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and go above and beyond to make your meal top notch. I'm a big fan of their BBQ chopped salad with Tri-Tip. I could share a small size with my wife and it would be enough. However when I ordered a medium size, it didn't seem much different. My husband and I thought this place was awesome. On our way back up to the Bay Area we found Stonefire through yelp and ended up ordering one of the tri-tip salads We also ordered the pesto pasta and breadsticks but the salad was definitely the star. My wife and I have considered Stonefire Grill our go to restaurant for quality food for years in the Santa Clarita valley. We have gone there for birthday celebrations and used their catering services without incident for their ribs, chicken, salads etc. This past Tuesday afternoon we went there and ordered the family chicken cobb salad, which used to be our favorite. The price of the salad had been increased significantly but we were expecting an excellent dining experience. Unfortunately, the top of the salad was almost completely covered with tomatoes, and we discovered that there were no eggs after plating, but still endured to enjoy lunch. After the first several bites we knew that the quality of the food can best be associated with eating left overs. The salad was tasteless, the pieces of chicken did not taste freshly grilled, bland and mushy. The management may want to audit the chef to determine if they are using left over chicken or possibly reheating chicken in a microwave??? The vinaigrette tasted bland to say the least. The bits of bacon were sparse, over cooked and chewy. The highlight of the Chicken Cobb Salad was the fresh avocado was delicious. For years, the owners ensured the quality control for Stonefire, but we were very disappointed to say the least. There is a book, "Who Moved My Cheese" by PhD Spencer Johnson. A simple parable of significantly profound truths that can be applied to the workplace. One of Johnson's key parables is "Don't Ignore the Warning Signs!" The owners of Stonefire Grill may want to consider this book mandatory reading for her staff. read more

Stonefire Grill has excellent food for your wedding at an excellent price. We used them at our wedding and we were definitely not disappointed. We love all the food they have to offer. The price was just right for our budget. Our wedding was 1.5-2 hours away and they delivered it to us no problem. They were on time which flowed perfectly with our wedding schedule. I was a bit hesitant in going today since I wanted to take my sister and mom out for a Mother's Day lunch but was afraid of a chaotic situation. The place was busy but the staff was well organized to handle the crowds. The service and food are always great but today everything was spectacular. I was especially impressed with Taylor and Collin who were really helpful, anticipated our needs and made my family feel special. We tried to call in an order for delivery but were told they only accept online orders. The problem with that is their website is not easy to navigate and besides who does that?? What restaurant doesn't accept a phone order? We wanted to make some minor changes to the set menu and you can't do that online. I Love Stonefire! We have been to stonefire several times now. Everything we have had on the menu is wonderful! The food is freshly prepared and whether we are eating at the restaurant or getting take-out our service is excellent. The portions are huge! When I went to college in Missouri, I didn't miss to many foods from California besides Sushi and Stonefire. Every time I came home to visit, I would have to stop by at least once. This place is the quintessential BBQ place in California with a good price point and perfectly fresh food in a clean, inviting atmosphere. I have tried many things off the menu--the Caesar salad, breadsticks, tri-tip, mashed potatoes, chicken breast, and even pizza!--and loved every one of them. Everything is made so fresh and without preservatives...I know because my Mom tried to surprise me with some Caesar dressing to send to Missouri but it wouldn't keep since it's made fresh daily! I adore the food and I know from experience that the corporate office and managers really care about their customers. Needless to say, in the many years since I have dined here, my experiences have had their ups and their downs but the food never disappoints and if it does, they'll make sure to make up for it if you just let them know :) The food is amazing, whether you eat it in the restaurant or (my personal favorite) on the couch at home because they have great take-out. I gave it 3 stars because the pizza was good & the price was great. We also liked the mashed potatoes. However we were not impressed by the other food. My sister ordered a pasta dish and it tasted as though it was a day old and warmed up. My husband also didn't enjoy his beer nor his meet dish. In addition we also had to remind them to warm it up. My sister's food also arrived really late & we had to remind the staff but they did bring out the dish a few minutes after we reminded them. We don't plan to return. read more

So I decided to order to go here. Biggest mistake. I got the baked ziti and some baked chicken. First off my food took almost 1 hour to make and it was not busy. When I went to ask about my food the girl was like its almost done just have a seat and we will call u when it is ready that was strike number 1 no customer service what so ever. Strike 2 I got home as I was extremely hunger to be extremely dissatisfied. My baked ziti noodles were extremely hard to the point u could of cracked your tooth. It was almost like they never boiled the noodles just put it in the oven and thought it would cook and soften in the oven. The baked chicken lacked flavor and was an extremely small portion for the price. The food was just not edible. I called to complain to the manager and said I wanted a refund which I got. This used to be the best restaurant in town (Valencia) but they have really gone downhill these last few months. Their customer service is lacking, they don't care if you pay for items and don't receive them and there is a general lack of concern for the customer - something they used to pride themselves in. My boyfriend and I went to try this place for the first time and we will never come back. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl and didn't receive my chicken patties and there was two pieces of hair in my bowl; one on the avocado slices and one on one of the patties once they brought them out separately.
