Always busy diner, currently undergoing a facelift but remains open. Friendly server, attentive. Always has specials especially early bird dinner specials. Great price great meal. We went for lunch reasonable prices I had chicken pot pie it was hot and delicious with big chunks of chicken! Good soups with the meal too.

Came here today for some breakfast. It was crowded but we were seated quickly. Their coffee was nice and hot just what I needed. Service was good. Food was tasty. I got the cheese omelet with a side of Scrapple which also comes with potatoes and toast. My daughter got the cheeseburger deluxe said it was good as well. The only thing is they forgot her coleslaw so I had to ask for It. Not sure why it seems diners do this at times. If it says it comes with it, bring it. I'm pretty sure they get a lot Of cheeseburger orders so how do you forget? Anyway i enjoyed my experience and will be there again.

The lot was packed so we decided to try our luck. Our server Emily was nice. The menu was extensive; almost too many things to pick from and a lot of repeats. As a result, it took us a long time to figure out what we wanted to eat. (Especially since even with a regular appetizer, there are only about 6 vegetables to pick from as a side. No green veggies, just mashed potatoes, fries, etc) The portions were HUGE! I ordered fish and chips and got 5 pieces of fish! (Way more than I've ever gotten when I order it anywhere). The fries with it were brew fries. (Old school. My best friend's mom owned a bar when we were young and they made brew fries there as well, so a little nostalgic!). My sister got Chicken Croquettes with mashed potatoes and loved them, My grandmother was happy with her French onion soup and Texas toast style grilled cheese, My biggest gripes would be the lack of selection with veggies and having to ask for the dessert that was included in our meal. You get plenty of food for a reasonable price though!

Cute little diner. Close to Laurel rd and WHP. The food I got was good but prices were a little high. When I think of diner food I always think burgers coffee comfort and reasonable prices people mostly hit them because they're tired and want something good to eat fast and not spend a fortune. We ordered eggs hash browns rye toast the price was good but mostly everything else on the menu was 11$ and up which definitely wasn't warranted. Burgers were no less than 8$ so all in all only heading there in a dire emergency because if I'm spending money I'm heading elsewhere where the food does t look like it comes from a cafeteria.

My husband is a self-claimed diner snob and this is his favorite place to go. We will drive past other diners to come to Stratford.

Around 7 pm on a Friday, I did see before we got there that there was live music, and if I knew how loud it was going to get I would have chosen a different restaurant. Service was OK, had to grab her a few times for water & drinks, but she did nicely give us space because we were gabbing a bit and taking a long time to even look at the menu. Fried pickles, basic and good. My friend liked her bacon-wrapped scallops. Next up was crab stuffed mushroom, again these were OK. Ashley got next goat cheese fritters. What I was expecting vs what we got was slightly disappointing. Zero thought was put into them, with no seasoning. Honey on the side helped. Now my biggest issue, the short rib cheese fries with the American cheese sauce and short rib gravy, who are you kidding? It was not the greatest fries, melted cheese on the bottom of the plate, tough meat on top and with what tasted like BBQ on that. I highly recommend you pick something else. Live music was pretty good but forgot about having any conversation if you're sitting nearby.

The crispy chicken sandwich was crunchy but lacked sauce, which was a bit disappointing. Fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The wings had good crunch but were on the fatty side, and the Fox Sticky Sauce wasn't my favorite--I'd probably try a different Asian-inspired flavor next time. The food alone was a 3-star experience, but the spacious interior, fun fox-themed decor, and friendly staff bumped it up to 4 stars. The bartender, Eric, was fantastic, keeping us laughing and sharing interesting insights about the place.

Large display cases showing their wares, mirrored wall that doubles its rather long and narrow dining room, and excellent personable service by Jaime, the house Blythe spirit. I went with a bowl of Cabbage Soup (just like grandma used to make) and an odd curiosity called a Hot Dog Knish (kosher garlicky frankfurter held within a large mashed potato knish). I love hot dogs and kvell for good knishes, so why not? Both were totally filling and satisfying, although one end of the sausage was hard as a rock from too much time in the heat, while the rest was fine. Just cut it off and devoured the rest. The difference between four stars and a perfect score. The lunchtime crowd appeared to be mostly single older dudes doing sit down, and older ladies doing takeaway. I guess that was normal there and based on experience with each other because they didn't interact at all, but seemed to recognize one another. And, then there was Jaime, holding the scene together as she greeted, served, cashiered and smiled at everyone. Very adept. But for the distance from Bucks, I could become a regular for Kibitz home cooking. Four idle chatting (kibitzing) Stars for this Yiddish chat room. PS. Why was this review recognized as a "Wrap Review," when no wrap was involved? PPS. Apparently, Kibitz Room closed without advanced notice shortly after I was there. Condolences!
