My wife and I stopped in for dinner and the place was fairly dead, which made us a little worried. We don't eat much and therefore usually share. Ordered a appetizer combo, which came with chicken strips, cheese sticks, and pretzel bites. We felt like all of this was actually pretty good. We also ordered a French dip with fries which was also very good. The only "problem" we had was that the portions are huge. We ate maybe half the appetizer and a third of the sandwich. Didn't catch the ladies name that took my order over the phone but she was the nicest person I have ever ran into in the restaurant industry. She had blonde hair. Not only did she want to take me order when they were closing in 10 minutes after I offered multiple times to just wait until tomorrow but she also hooked it up with a bunch of different sauces for everything I ordered. This place is my main go-to for breakfast. The menu is great, it definitely has something for everyone. It always seems packed when I go. The wait for a table isn't too bad considering but when you're starving it seems like an eternity. But overall the service is good. I've never been disappointed in what matters, the food. I usually get an omelette but today I got the pancake fantasy breakfast because I was craving chocolate chip pancakes. So good. Everyone at the table finished their plates clean. Strawberry Fields is probably my favorite local restaurant in Chesterfield. My fiancée and I eat here pretty regularly because the prices are very reasonable and the food is great, especially if you like breakfast food (and they serve breakfast all day). I almost always order the white chocolate raspberry pancakes whenever I eat there, regardless of what time it is. You get a helping that is plenty big and really good! I like their pancakes better than any other restaurant I've eaten at. I've only had one time where the raspberries were a little small and tart, otherwise they are always big and sweet. And for those who like breakfast AND dessert, try the banana split waffle! For those who prefer dinner food for dinner, their fish and chips are also really good. They have a couple free rewards programs that are awesome too. You can get signed up for the dessert of the month, as well as the birthday club. For the birthday club you get one free entree and I don't believe there is a price limit on that, so you should be able to get anything you want. It's definitely worth checking out! read more

I have never walked out of a restaurant before. Today was the first. First off, when food comes to the table, IT NEED'S, and SHOULD BE HOT !! IF YOUR COOKS DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRISPY AND BURNT. Then they need another job. Even the toast was burnt ! Both were sent back. So in retaliation, WHITE BREAD, SPRAYED WITH BUTTER, was sent back. NO BACON EVER CAME BACK. One of our diners never got her toast she ordered. Another diner ordered, Cinnamon Raisin French Toast, it came the way it was ordered, BUT WITH A BONUS !!! IT was room temperature. This was not our waitress's fault. My hubby grabbed carry out from here tonight. He was in the area and I had a BOGO free coupon from the Entertainment book. I had called earlier that morning and asked if the coupon was valid on carry out. The girl I spoke to was obviously new, she had no clue and put me on hold while she asked someone. She told me it was in fact valid for carry out. I ripped the coupon out of the book and sent it out the door with my husband. I browsed the online menu later that day, and settled on a few items. I figured by the time my husband was done with his business in the area, I'd know what we wanted. At around 8pm my husband was finally done with work, it was a long day for the man. I called in the order. I went off their web page and placed my order. A club sandwich with bacon, Turkey, ham, Swiss and America cheese included a choice of side, soup, fries or coleslaw. My order was a club on wheat, minus only the American cheese, coleslaw as my side. The cost of the club per the web page was $8.95. The second item I ordered was the large nachos for $6.95 and I added ground beef for $1.95. It was tortillas with cheese, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, ground beef and it came with a side of sour cream and salsa. Total price per the web page was $8.90. My husband picked it up. Brought the food home. We were both famished. It was 8:30 and we were just now opening our dinner. Note the key word "opening". No coleslaw, no salsa, no sour cream. No napkins or utensils. Ok, the last two things may not seem like a big deal. But sometimes they are. If I ordered carry out it because I don't want to do ANY work. I don't want to dirty my dishes and have to clean them later. And who knows. I might not have a single napkins in my house. Eating nachos is a messy task. Or I just might be a messy eater, or the club sandwich might just have too much mayo on it. A napkin might come in handy and be needed. Supply the staples for a carry out order. Anyways, I call and the manager Laura asks if I can come back, so she can fix my order. I tell her I don't live in the area, that I'm 34 minutes from her restaurant. Damn- I just realized my husband drove like Mario Andretti to get home! She took my name and put it in the "book" for a $10 credit next time I visit. They have a book??? So this happens often? She was super nice and apologetic, so I give them that. But I'll be honest the food was not all that good. While everything looked great upon opening, it was once you stated eating it that the truth surfaced. Tortilla chip were super stale. Bacon was all rubbery fat and not cooked. There was not only not American cheese but they left off the Swiss cheese that I wanted. Lettuce was slimy and brown. Turkey was wet, luncheon meat. Nacho were sitting in a pool of oil. They forgot the coleslaw, salsa and sour cream. Plus my bill was hacked and not charged accordingly. I was overcharged! Now I have I call them about the over charge to my credit card 1st thing in the morning. I have a $10 credit, but I doubt I'll even be back. More than half of the food went into the garage. I have been coming to this place for years and enjoyed it. This year it went under a new ownership. My boyfriend and I went there for breakfast and he broke his tooth on the bacon. When we told the manager about it, she apologized and just brushed it off. We only received a 10% discount. So now he has to go to the dentist which will cost him a lot more than a $20 breakfast! Fantastically fresh, homemade, and awesome. This tiny gem of a restaurant north of Detroit may have a slightly funky Beatles-themes atmosphere, but the food is amazing. Ingredients that are sourced local as often as they can, mixed with real culinary creativeness. I had a plate of hash and eggs, and was blown away. The hash was completely homemade. From the actual corned beef, to the potatoes, everything has been prepared in house, and was well worth the wait. Which was probably the least favorable part of the "Strawberry Fields" experience. Service was slow, and the waitress didn't bother to check in on us, or let us now how much longer we would have to wait, but it was worth it once the food finally came. read more

As the name implies this is a beatles themed resteraunt and one of our local favorites. It's a great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. They have a large menu with plenty of variety to choose from. They have good pizza and run salad and soup specials regularly along with special seasonal dishes. They even serve alcohol so that's a plus too. Personally, I normally get the tuna or chicken salad melts with soup. My son loves the pizza and my wife is more adventurous trying different dishes. However when it's breakfast time they have a great menu and of course they serve breakfast all the time. Finally they have a customer loyalty program. You receive a 5 dollar credit for every 50 dollars you spend there. Highly recommend this locally owned business. read more

I am currently so stuffed from their huge portions that I find it difficult to write a review. I got the fresh fruit French toast, and yes, the fruit was very fresh. Berries were delicious. The toast itself seemed just like regular French toast....nothing special. Eggs were hearty and filling, bacon a little dry. My husband got the All American and seemed pleased. Even he couldn't finish my leftovers, which says a lot for the portions. Fast service and reasonably priced, I have yet to find a better place for breakfast. read more

Worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. I've had bad McDonald's better then this place. So....we arrive at 6:15 which would be a normal dinner time. There were only two other booths of people and our family of four. I started by ordering a side salad and my husband ordered deep fried mushrooms. We waited for almost 30 minutes and finally my husband asked where our salad and mushrooms were? The waitress apologized and then said the cooks forgot to drop them down. Next, we finally get our mushrooms and salad. Our salad bowls had a half inch of water in the bottom of the bowl and the mushrooms were ice cold in the center. Then comes our dinner. My mini pizza was literally all raw. I went to pick up a slice and everything fell off the top and it was like raw dough hanging down. The waitress responds "oh god". So, she takes it back and says she had them put it back in the oven. Comes back like five minutes later with the pizza. It's still raw and not even edible. My husband had a ham wrap and the wrap was hard. My sons french fries were still cold in the center and were clearly cooked in cold oil cause you could squeeze them and grease was dripping out. Then my husband says are your cooks good back there? The waitress replies "no, not really". Smh clearly this is not acceptable at all. Then my husband says I want to talk to your owner or manager and show them this food. So, the waitress sends over a lady who says she's the owner and the lady got pissed and slammed down a comped bill. We tipped our waitress because it's not her fault. But, it was literally like being in an episode of kitchen nightmares. Would never ever eat here again. And if you want to avoid a bad experience do not eat here. The owner in my opinion needs to cut the menu choices down for one. She needs to shut her doors and regroup and find a good prep cook and head cook. Because what she has going right now is not working. This place will be closed in less then a year. read more

However we found the restaurant very noisy today and we were very disappointed in the complete disregard for staffs COVID safety measures. No staff wore masks and very few customers wore masks. Sanitizing between customers appeared very good though but there was no social distancing in the restaurant. I know COVID restrictions are changing but they are still on effect and I had the impression this restaurant has a total disregard for those safety measures. Where do I start? We drove an hour from Westland to come visit this Beatles themed restaurant. Upon walking in we were disappointed in the decor, it wasn't anything special just a drab diner with Beatles posters everywhere. When we sat down my boyfriend ordered soda water and I inquired about the themed drink- the yellow submarine. The waiter said that they couldn't make it because the old owners took the signature recipes with them... when the waiter came back with our drinks he said he couldn't serve the soda water because it was still frozen? When food came out my salad didn't have tomato's and cucumbers and had onions which is not what was stated on the menu. My boyfriends veggie pita had meat in it. They took it away to make a new one. Came back with the veggie pita and it still had meat on it, they just picked it off! The manager did apologize but at this point we were just done. Their carryout service is a joke. Every single time we order there... something is missing/wrong. Especially fruit cups. We ordered a fruit cup the last three times, and when I get home it's never in the bag. Today I ordered, waited 20 minutes, drove there and when I get there they tell me that they are out of something to make our entrée. I had to order something else and wait another 20 in the parking lot. We left a call back number, CALL US IF YOU'RE OUT OF SOMETHING BEFORE I DRIVE THERE! The food is awesome.
