Loved how hard she works and is really down to earth. Quick service with a genuine smile even while managing a large section by herself. My bacon and cheddar burger totally hit the spot. I was happy about that. Perfectly cooked medium rare AND the garlic fries tasted so fresh; what an awesome deal for a no-additional-charge to upgrade from regular fries to garlic. Boy did I wreak in garlic when I got home though. Definitely worth the upgrade! The Parmesan chicken was super yum also! I'm shocked at the 3 star rating. We love Strizzis!! The food here is amazing and it's a little gem in Fremont that absolutely love! Service here is amazing. If you're ever here on a Saturday then you might have the pleasure of being served by Zach!! He's such an amazing server/bartender. Very attentive and personable! Such great service! The food is soooo yummy! The serving size is perfect and you can't go wrong with the pasta here. We had the Cajun chicken pasta and the garlic artichoke pasta. We went here one evening on Memorial Day weekend to take my MIL to a late Mother's Day dinner. Our server was nice and promptly took our drink and food orders. He didn't write our food orders down and when he repeated them back to us he said for mine "wood grilled salmon" I corrected him and said the seafood pasta. Our dishes arrived My husband and MIL dishes were correct but mine was wood grilled salmon. I told him I had ordered the seafood pasta. So he apologized and said he grabbed the wrong plate. I told my husband that I knew they had made the wrong dish. So while they ate I waited for my pasta. As you can see on the picture my sauce was the consistency of water because they were rushing to make the right dish. The flavor was good. Disappointing for a $100 + dinner but my husband and MIL dinners they said were great. Probably won't come back for the price and lack of attention on our servers part. read more

I wish I had checked the reviews before I came here. ordered a beet salad and cheese ravioli. The salad was bland with barely a few bites of lettuce and beets. The small plate of ravioli had almost no flavor neither in the thin sauce or the ravioli. If I am going to pay $22 for a pasta I shouldn't walk away hungry. For a cold cold cold day, the restaurant was freeeeeeezing. Other patrons and I bundled up while we were trying to enjoy dinner and company. Turn up the heat! Lol. This place isn't too far from my workplace. Seen it for awhile and decided to meet my friend up for dinner after work. I made reservations just in case. But didn't look like it was needed. We had ordered rigatoni bolognese, braised beef tips, garlic prawns, and crispy fried calamari. All the food was good, came out piping out. The only dish that missed the mark was the beef braised tips. It didn't taste good. The beef was overly cooked and too tough to chew on. I actually didn't finish my entree and took it home even though I know I wouldn't eat it. But all the other stuff was ordered was good. I ended up eating most of the apps and a handful of bites from my friend's dish. Jenna was nice. She was definitely accommodating. Pleasant. But for there being not too many people in the restaurant she seemed overwhelmed. Some stuff came out slow. Our drinks and dessert for example. Our check at the end of our dinner. Getting our takeout containers. Giving this place 4-stars because I feel that it fell short of customer service and food. COVID Review: We got a gift card from a friend and decided to try this place out for take-out. The first impressions were really good when we arrived. The pick-up line was very clear (just turn right when you go through the doors) and I really liked how Strizzi's was decorated. It's a beautiful looking restaurant. This is what we ordered: 1.) Rigatoni Bolognese - $18 2.) Oven Baked Lasagna - $18 3.) Heat @ Home Lasagna - $9 4.) Heat @ Home Italian Sausage Fettuccine - $9 Some notes: - The portion sizes at first may not look like a lot but for two people, we were pretty full after finishing #1 and #2 above. The food is extremely tasty and was very satisfying and will definitely hit your spot when you are craving Italian. - Really appreciate the fact that also gave us free bread to go with our meal. We've been seeing this place whenever we grab coffee at Philz and decided to try it. We ordered the baked lasagna and shrimp linguine. The baked lasagna is made of lasagna noodles, ground beef, tomato sauce, garlic, parsley, and cheese. I seldom like baked lasagna but once I tried them, I have a change of heart. This lasagna is really good. I loved the way it was baked with tomato sauce poured on top. Once I took a bite, I could taste the melted cheese and ground beef and the seasoning placed together. The portion is also big and will fill you up. They are generous in serving you a slice of their baked lasagna. Their shrimp linguine is also delicious. The seasoning in putting this meal is perfect. The linguine is boiled right and the shrimp are moderately large. When you're looking for Italian food, try this place and you'll not regret it. read more

Will it be the most amazing, authentic Italian food? No. Will the food be ok? Yes. Service was ok as well. Our experience was sufficient and not above and beyond. It's a nice place with nice staff and decent food. I forgot to take a picture of my cheese ravioli but it wasn't anything spectacular. The Caesar salad was the better part of my meal. We decided to do the $7 deal for pick up. You pick up and heat up at home. We all got Chicken Penne Alfredo(4 total) and one Pesto Chicken Alfredo. Not one person in my family was happy with our meals tonight. The sauce was very watery. My wife believes the roux was not added to sauce. The chicken had a weird taste. As far as ordering and pick up, all that was fine and the restaurant was very nice inside. This review is based on this one experience and trial of the pick up and take home and cook meals. I have visited this location for dining in and I highly enjoyed my experience. I would not suggest trying the heat up at home meals. read more

My husband's parents introduced me to this place since his family grew up with it and while isn't the most authentic Italian food you can get, the variety of pastas here is pretty cool, for dine in and take home! We mostly come here for lunch. I've never been here for dinner so I can't comment, but the service we receive here during the times I've been has been great. We're mostly looking for a quiet environment just to hang out and talk and the waitresses here have been wonderful at taking care of us and playing with our little one during the slow periods. If that isn't great customer service in your book, I don't know what is! My go-to's are the Cajun chicken fettuccine and the Italian sausage fettuccine, but I've tried the Spaghetti + Meatballs, Rigatoni Bolognese, Chicken Parm and Lasagna and they're great comfort food for dine in or take out :) Where this location is at is also a bonus for my husband since Philz is in the same plaza, and you can essentially get most of your errands done here: coffee run, grocery shopping, and a lunch/dinner. Strizzi's was my local Italian place growing up, and holds a special place in my life because I used them to cater food for my wedding! Offering a wide array of Italian American dining in a cozy environment (though the ambiance straddles somewhere between a super fancy vibe and an Olive Garden), they have enough of a variety to make anybody happy - from red sauces, white sauces, to pesto ravioli! We came here the other night while visiting my family. I got the Cajun chicken fettuccine, and it was everything you can ask for a good pasta dish: the noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce was properly emulsified, and the flavors were bold and memorable! Prices felt a little steep all things considered, but don't get me wrong, the food was good! Will be back for a more casual date night in the future! read more

We had dinner early on a Monday evening. We waited for a booth to be cleared for us. Complimentary bread was provided to us with oil and vinegar for dipping. We ordered the calamari appetizer. This was super disappointing. It was a very small portion and did not taste fresh. The prices were hard and dry. The rest of the meal was much better thankfully. We ordered the Cioppino and Asiago ravioli. They were both flavorful and generous portions. We ordered the dessert special only to be told later that is was not available. So we ordered the tiramisu, which was fantastic! This isn't fine dining but is upscale and the prices reflect that. We would come back for tiramisu alone! read more

Came in here on Sunday around 12pm was not much rush. Before we ordered I told the the waitress upfront Im a vegetarian. There were only two things on the menu that were vegetarian entrees and one was a speciality item(jalapeno cheese ravioli) that wasnt available. Not much input from the waiter so I went with the Asiago Garlic Ravioli and Tomato soup and husband went with the Farmers Skillet. My food was ok, three stars just for me being satisfied with my food. Service was bad considering there was not much rush. After our food was served no one came to refill our drinks or was even around for us to ask for anything. My husband was suppose to get sourdough toast with his order, it was never brought nor were we able to ask someone to bring it out because the waiters never came back to our table. It took forever to wait for there attention for even a bill. All in all okay food, bad service. I even told the waiter when we asked for the bill that we were never given the toast that came with order she just looked at me awkwardly and said nothing...it was just awkward. She later came back picked up our plates and gave us this dessert certificate without any information if we can use it now or later or it was for the inconvenience. I just left it at the table. Super disappointed. It's a NO for authenticity. The bread is cold and hard. I think it would have seemed fresh if it was warmed up in the oven. The Fettuccini Chicken Alfredo tasted like Marie Callender's frozen Chicken Alfredo. The chicken is pre/cooked and cubed. There is NO grilled chicken even though the sign outside advertises the words, "Gilled" and "Wood-Fired". I felt duped. There's no actual chicken breast that is prepared with seasoning, grilled, sliced and professionally presented on top. This is suppose to be an Italian restaurant??? The menu had a small section of pasta listed under "bowls" and these soup type bowls are small too. I was confused by the lack of authentic Italian dishes on the menu. Instead, theres random items like an Asian bowl with risotto instead of rice. The positives are we absolutely loved our waitress. She was sweet and friendly. It's not her fault. 8/19/23 @7:30pkm: Food quality and very poor bar service continue to be a problem. Shrimp was rejected as being to spicey, which was not noted on the menu. Salad was "dripping" in dressing. Bartender took off and didn't deliver the meal for over 15 minutes. Had to walk too the bar to ask for food and later food replacement, to go container and the bill. When the bill arrived it did not have a pen, which required yet another trip to the bar. We keep going back to Strizzi, hoping for improvement. Sadly time after time the Fremont location continues to disappoint. read more

We love Strizzi's. They have several locations and I have enjoyed all of them. The meals are consistently good. Yummy desserts too. I often do take out. I sometimes dine in, but avoid popular dining times as they do get busy. I have had good service and the restaurant is great for a nice lunch or dinner, especially if you are celebrating an occasion, like a birthday. read more

We went on a Monday around 430pm which honestly was a great time to go. Not busy at all and even got front row parking. The customer service was great and the waitress knowledgeable of the menu. The only down side was the food. It was bad but honest nothing to write home about. I got the mushroom ravioli which was ok but like I said not top notch. The calamari was decent and the Chardonnay was probably the cheapest they could buy. The upside is between 4-6 pm you get free salad and soup. Although it was free the Cesar salad was way over dressed and too much cheese for my liking. The place seemed clean , small and quaint just nothing to brag about. read more

Very disappointed with tonight's service and food quality. The GM however was hustling, Asian women. Respect to her. But they were definitely understaffed. I ordered the flat iron steak, taste like it was made from hotdogs. My wife ordered a chicken walnut salad and her chicken was ice cold and tasted like lighter fluid plus way over dressed, almost wilted consistency. Server was definitely overwhelmed..... So much for valentines day dinner. Also took 22 minutes to get check, tender out and be able to leave. We were hostages..... Extremely messy tonight as well, mushrooms on steak not even cooked there was a tomato on the dish..... Yikes.... Love this place for during the week dining, definitely not the place for holidays. I've had Strizzi's a few times now at this location (dine-in) and I've always been satisfied! One of my favorite dishes is the oven baked lasagna. I love how cheesy it is! The lasagna is so tender, it almost melts in your mouth. This time time, I got the cajun chicken risotto to-go. It was a little too saucy but that may be because it was to-go. However, it was still pretty delicious. I could taste the cajun spice and they gave me a good amount of chicken. I will definitely keep coming back here to give my support. read more

Had the day off so met a friend for lunch and we had the best time here! The lunch rush was over by the time we arrived so it was pretty quiet and parking was easy. I started with a hefeweizen and the bruschetta. Since we both wanted a side salad we decided to split the burger. The burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the brioche bun knocked it out of the park. I don't know the managers name, but she made me a drink that I have to go back for. It was so good. If you like lemon drops, they have a signature one they make with Limoncello. I had that with a splash of raspberry liqueur. Alex waited on us and was the cherry on the sundae. She answered our questions, made recommendations, and was so sweet. Our food was good and timely, we didn't have to ask for a thing. It was just an out and out great experience.
