This place always looks closed! I'm happy I stop and check, the employees are great, food is always on point, cooks are so funny, sit at their (cooks) counter it's always a good time.

Strizzi's is a solid spot for a cozy Italian meal! It's a smaller restaurant, but it has a modern and comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for a date night or a casual dinner. Tons of parking in the area too, which is always a plus. The pasta selection is so good -- lots of variety, and everything tastes super fresh. You can tell they put effort into the sauces and portions. Service was great across the board, but I have to give a special shout-out to Carly. She's incredibly personable, attentive, and made some excellent recommendations that ended up being our favorites of the night. She really added to the experience.

The servers were accommodating when we asked to change our table that was right in front of the door when it was pretty cold outside. I was a little confused at the free salad or soup and dessert for ordering between 5-6. Our server didn't offer that to us so be sure to ask specifically.

Strizzi's is such a nice Italian restaurant! I lived in Fremont for over 5+ years and I never knew it was here. Such a cute vibe inside, the service is great and food even better. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

We came here last week for my daughter's birthday. At first glance it looks like a chain restaurant, which it sort of is, with a lot of tables and bright lights and noisy. But fortunately we were seated in a more secluded area away from the main entrance. Service was good, pleasant but nothing that stood out. Maybe we were just engaged in conversation to notice. But I will say the food was delicious.! I had the Shrimp Pappardelle which was seasoned with garlic and artichokes. My daughters had the Chicken Parmesan, which was also delicious, served in a light tomato marinara with a side of Rigatoni Bolognese. For dessert we had the tiramisu and strawberry sundae. Overall it was a good experience and my daughter had a great birthday.

Food was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table was happy with their food except they kiddo with the cheese pizza. The service was kinda bad tho. Many things were forgotten. I got up to get my own straw. It was like 30 min to order, 40 min for our food, 30 min for desert and the check. It was a nice spot to watch, it was just the service that was questionable.

Anytime I want to take an out of town guest out for a nice dinner, I come here. Not Papillon, here. The food is so good, it's like a warm, comforting hug from your grandma. And I'm a difficult client when it comes to Italian food, but this restaurant definitely meets my expectations. For example, I never order lasagna at a restaurant, but this is hands down the best lasagna I've ever ordered. The same goes for the bread pudding and Dulce de leche cake. Their warm brown sugar sauce is to die for. Every dish is made to order; handcrafted and sure to delight. So be patient when ordering. They have AMAZING weekly specials which aren't on their menu. So keep checking in on what's they're serving. One thing I wouldn't order is the burger, but that's kind of a given because this is an Italian restaurant. I also want to highlight that they have both tawny and ruby ports which is a testament to their authenticity.

Old school, old World, traditional Italian ambiance and food! You just can't beat a classic! The service is always very attentive and the food is 2nd to none! That baked lasagne is historical! Seafood is do good it'll make you wanna slap yo Mama! The clam chowder is super creamy, with good chucks of clam and potatoes! It has great seafood flavor! If you want good Italian food, you will NEVER be disappointed here! This place guarantees comfort and happiness!

I ate some already! The salmon risotto was excellent.

This place deserves more stars. I come here for special family lunches and just did a dinner with girlfriends. Honestly the ambience is really cozy and the 2-6pm specials is an excellent value! Free salad or soup and discounted dessert. The servers are always friendly. I need to come here more. The food was wonderful too. Didn't take pics of all, but sausage pasta looked good. The salmon risotto was excellent. Tiramisu was huge.

4 oz. chicken breast next to toothpicks to illustrate size

This review is isolated to a to-go order of 2 chicken breasts only...ordered as separate items without anything else. Two chicken breasts a la carte. A photo has been attached for reference, with toothpicks next to it to illustrate the size. Unfortunately, Strizzi's has had to increase the cost of their food like so many others these days. We understand. However, the cost has now forced us to stop going there as we can no longer afford it. The cost for two 4 oz. (very small) chicken breasts was $26.46. Remember, this is just for two 4 oz pieces of chicken...nothing else served with it. Sorry to see you go....

Clam chowder

Me and my husband went for the first time. I must say I was very pleased. The food was really good, the customer service was on point. Our waitress Giuliana was so nice and very friendly. She kept checking on us and when we left and was walking out the door, she even said bye, have a nice day, and Happy Valentine's Day. I hope her boss lets her know how pleased we were!! We will be back and hope to have her...

Calamari and Brussel sprouts were great.on sister got the garlic shrimp paparadelle , another the chicken Parmesan, wife got the seafood paella risotto and I got the rib eye. All really good. My Rib eye was not too thick and A little fatty. Service however was very slow and waitress was non-attentive. For what we paid and being a former waiter I expect better service

How is the service here for a group?

How is the brunch menu and can they accommodate a group of 15-18?

I can't answer the brunch menu question, but can tell you there is plenty of room for a big party like that.

I inside of the restaurant was small but had plenty of tables. It was a slow day on that weekday early dinner time. We asked to order our items for take out. We waited not too long as I remember. How was the food? Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Overall, glad we tried it but we might not be coming back. With the economy now, it's disappointing when the food is terrible for how much we pay for.

I chose the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Overall, the dish was full of delicious flavours (the addition of smoked paprika is perfect) and its beautifully plated. My only negative would be that the pasta was a bit over cooked and a wee bit on the mushy side....but the Alfredo sauce tasty, The skewer of shrimp atop of the pasta was the BOMB!!! My ultimate birthday go-to for fresh seafood and steak!…read more Market Broiler Fremont has been my absolute go-to spot for birthday celebrations for years. When you want a consistently great meal to celebrate a special occasion, this place always delivers a solid 4-star experience. Here is why it keeps winning out over other chain options: The Apps to Start: You have to start with the appetizers here. They bring out that warm, fresh sourdough bread to the table which is dangerous because it's so good. Pairing that with their classic seafood apps like the crisp calamari or a shrimp cocktail sets the perfect tone for a birthday dinner. Fresh Fish & Steaks: For the main course, their menu hits the perfect balance. The fresh fish is always cooked beautifully, flaky, and high-quality. If you're looking for land instead of sea, their steaks are consistently juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The Vibe: Sitting in the Pacific Commons location makes for a great, lively atmosphere that feels celebratory without being overly stuffy. It's a reliable local favorite that never fails for a birthday dinner. Great food, solid portions, and always a great time!

The live music and improvisation definitely made for a great vibe, and the restaurant itself has ample seating. However, while the atmosphere was a hit, the food left a bit to be desired for the price. The ordering process is straightforward. You order at the counter, pay, and take a buzzer to your table until your food is ready for pickup. Here is what we ordered: Chicken Fajitas Pizza (14 inch Sourdough Crust) This is a thin crust pizza featuring chicken, baby heirloom tomatoes, chile pasilla, red onions, and mozzarella, topped with cilantro. The housemade sourdough crust was nice, and the heirloom tomatoes tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken and toppings felt very sparse. It ended up feeling mostly like a cheese pizza. Given that this is priced as a premium pizza rather than standard fast food, I expected a lot more toppings. Sweet and Fire Wings (Flavor Number 2) The portion size was good, and the sauce definitely brought a nice kick of heat. This comes with ranch sauce. However, most of the chicken pieces were on the dry side. They were just alright, and I probably would not order them again. The Highlights and Extra Details Self-Serve Sauces: They have housemade sauces available for self-service. We tried the cilantro sauce and the orange sauce. The cilantro sauce was excellent and paired really well with both the pizza and the wings. Drinks: They have a selection of draft beers available if you want a drink with your meal. Parking: Finding a spot is very easy since there are plenty of parking spaces around the building. Bottom Line: A big shoutout to the musician who brought us through the door. While the music and atmosphere were wonderful, the food itself did not quite feel worth the money due to the dry wings and sparse toppings on the pizza.
