This is the ONLY subway that has ever followed instruction. I asked for extra crispy well done extra sauce, and I'm shocked that a subway actually gave what the customer requested! I've had so many issues with other subways near foothill and other locations with not following instructions on mobile orders... THIS is good business! I will be coming back because now I know what subway gives the slogan "make it your way" lol . Good job management/team staff.

This subway location is fairly consistent across the board, ingredients are fine, bread tastes good, service differs by employee but overall great! One thing I noticed is that the portion scooped onto our sandwich are fairly less in quantity, so ask for a little extra because asking is better than regretting! Overall, a great location since it opened, and continues to a great place for local comfort food!

What is this? I can't even see chicken and there was no bacon LITERALLY.

DON'T EVEN TRY TO GO HERE. I ordered a footlong chicken & bacon ranch. What they gave me was very tiny portion of chicken and veggies. They don't even put bacon in it. So, I went to the store to tell them. This manager guy don't even care, digging the sandwich through and told me there's chicken in there. Are you serious?? So I asked where's bacon and he looked at the sandwich as if he was annoyed without saying sorry. The order was completely wrong, the portion was horrible, and the customer service was a nightmare. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. If you want subway in La Crescenta, go to 2035 N Verdugo Blvd. Montrose one.

The coupon works and an incompetent worker told me it does not...

I have been coming to this subway for a long long time and I have been using coupons here without any hiccups, until today. A worker (Nafisa-probably wrong spelling) couldn't get my sandwich right. I asked for the #6 meatball one (new name-I think "the buzz") and she said okay. She first put steak and realized it was wrong, so she removed it. Then, she put rotisserie chicken and I told her it's suppose to be meatball/pepperoni...and she stated, "Oh, I thought you said #7..." Once the sandwiches were done, I asked for the siracha sauce on the side (which I found out later she gave me a completely different sauce). At the checkout, I tried to use a coupon and she said that they don't take coupons there... I told her that I have used coupons here all the time and showed her the coupon. I pointed out that the sandwiches I got were not on the excluded items for the coupon and she still refused. I went back to my car and put in the code on Yelp and sure enough it worked. I went back and another worker (sweet gal) helped me out and told me that the coupon should have worked on the sandwiches I purchased. She tried to help me, but couldn't which is not a problem and told me to come back Sat when the manager is in.

I was also on my lunch break from work and by the time I drove back to work , my lunch had ended already. With that said the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was good. Decent flavor , could use a little more seasoning in my opinion. Service wasn't the best. Unfortunately , like I said , it did take a long time to get my food. It seems like they were in a rush but people who came after me got their food before me? I didn't understand that. Ambiance was okay. Not much seating inside. I also heard one of the workers on the phone saying "I have like 10 people in front looking at me." To say that in front of your customers isn't a good look. Overall , probably wouldn't come back again unless someone else wanted it. Didn't have a good experience. Food was okay. Ambiance could have been a million times better. 2 stars mostly based on service/ambiance.

Once again, this burger absolutely hits…read more I've tried a lot of smash burgers, and in my opinion this is hands down the best smash burger in California. I don't care what all the critics say--the burger speaks for itself. The patty is perfectly juicy while still having that crispy, flavorful crust that every great smash burger should have. The chili is the perfect finishing touch, adding just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the burger. My biggest complaint? I have to drive way too far to get one. That's how good it is. Please open a location in Arcadia! On top of the amazing food, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Great food and great people are a hard combination to beat. If you're a smash burger fan and haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out. Worth every mile of the drive.

While the chili is tasty and the service is excellent--the cashier was genuinely dedicated to guest satisfaction, and the food comes out hot and made-to-order in 5-10 minutes--it lacks the signature experience of the real OG Original Tommy's. Not huge at all and for the price, therefore not a good value. I spent $24 for the Chilicheese bruger combo with $1 upcharge for a bottled drink. The burger itself was decent, but they are way too tight with the chili portions compared to Tommy's, and the shoestring fries don't hold the chili nearly as well as the thicker-cut fries. I also found the specific combination of pickles, onions, and mustard on a Tommy's burger to be superior. The setting is purely a walk-up window with four outdoor benches, so it lacks the atmosphere of a traditional dine-in experience. Street parking during around 2pm on weekday was no problem. Got a spot right in front of the joint. If you do stop by, definitely give the chili a moment to cool--it comes out steaming hot! It's a solid, quick meal, but it hasn't dethroned the real OG, Original Tommy's, for me.

I went to the window and asked if it was true, 99 cent tacos, she said yes! Well $3 later, I had my two tacos. Was it any good? Well, yeah! It was! Look, it wasn't the best tacos in the world or the best I have tried but it was really good and if I had the time, I'd get a beer and sit down and eat these good tacos and then they might be some of the best! This location is very much like any other Shake Shack offering expensive food with good quality. My double shack burger ($10.99) was excellent- the bun was soft and buttered perfectly, the paddies excellent merged well with the cheese, and vegetables fresh. Service was fast but I was a little annoyed to be prompted for a tip from a fast food restaurant. I brought my little one and was quite occupied by his rambunctiousness so when I asked an employee walking by if I could have a high chair I was a little annoyed that they pointed me to the back of the restaurant instead of getting me one. There was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. It's small, but if you ask for a tip and sell yourself as being upscale little things like this make all the difference - and are the reason I couldn't put today's visit in 5-star territory. Despite the quality I've always found Shake Shack to be a little overpriced. An equally if not slightly better burger can be found at a much better price across the street at In and Out. Nonetheless if you are looking for something simple, good, yet a little uninspired, you can't go wrong with the Americana Shake Shack. Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value: 3.5/5

However, since we came at night time where most of them were closed, we got parking right in front. This spot is more of a take-away place, with 6 counter seatings indoors, and maybe 3 chairs right out front. This tiny burger spot seems to be run by just one person, so it helps that you can self-order at their kiosk. He was very attentive juggling between cooking the made-to order items, and check in on the costumers in case they had questions. After placing my order at their one device, it was roughly a 15 minutes wait. Here's what we ordered: CHEESEBURGER - $9.90 High-quality beef patty smashed with grilled onions, serviced on a toasted Martin's potato bun and topped with pickles and their fry sauce. I really enjoyed this rich tasting burger. I think that fry sauce was a huge factor...but also that soft bun...and that flavorful beef patty. I really enjoyed this. FRIES - $5.25 Golden Thing-Cut Fries. Perfect. I mean this was made to order so they were warm, crispy and so dang good! It's how fries everywhere should be! The crispy lace edges, the juicy center, the grilled onion, the slightly spicy sauce, the slightly sweet bun...all dreamworthy! Their sweet potato fries aren't all that great to look at, but omg, always perfectly cooked and salted! Perfectly complimented with the fry sauce. All that said, we were disappointed when we received our last order: 1. Packaging change (paper wrapped instead of cardboard box for the burgers) robbed the craveable edges of their crispness. Plus there was so much grease on the paper wraps it actually made it messier to eat than before. 2. The sauce has changed. The spice level increased (still not too spicy), but a side of sauce (which you pay more than a $1 for) is now sent in a premade branded packet. I have zero issues paying extra for a good sauce made fresh in-house, but instead of tasting like a fresh sauce made with mayo and spices, it now tastes of oil and spices and is not nearly as tasty. We noticed the difference on the burgers as well, so it seems like their sauce is all premade now and not nearly as good.

No animal sauce for me. My chocolate shake was pretty good. This is not the beat shake in the world but it goes well with the burger. It is not overly sweet. Oh yeah, the cashier made sure she got my order correct twice which I appreciated. But, oh no...the fries!! Terrible. I remember not liking them in the past. They have no flavor. But this time was worse. The consistency tasted like.they were stale. Like they have been sitting around for days. This is not true since this restaurant is CONSTANTLY busy. There is no time to have fries lay around. Still, I asked for a new order. I figured we got unlucky. Nope. Next order was hot and still tasted stale. No thank you Their menu is very limited. They have like 6 items on the menu and I believe they have kept it the same since they opened in 1948. I still love In n Out but just can't understand why a restaurant has such good burgers and just terrible fries. I have tried them with animal sauce in the past and that did not help. They should really be good on their own. On a final note, I am impressed how they have kept their prices low. Just about anyone can afford to buy a cheeseburger here. They have not increased their prices dramatically, or possibly not at all, like every single one of their competitors. Interesting tidbit..
