John was very friendly and you can tell has a genuine passion for what he does, and it shows in how he treats his staff. The restaurant is clean, free of dust, trash, and they have music playing. The sandwich bread comes from up Fresno I believe. I had to ask because of how soft the sourdough bread is. They bake the bread to ensure it is fresh and soft. I also opted in for macaroni salad which was surprisingly delicious. The macaroni was firm and the dressing and overall dish was nice and cold. I appreciate a good sandwich that isn't salty, and this Rattler was a perfect balance of bread down to the lettuce and sauce. Surprised this is my first time seeing this place. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits.
