My husband and I were charging at the Tesla charging station. We went in ordered food and took it back to the car to eat while our car charged. We ran back in to use the restroom before taking off on our road trip and as we were waiting the works asked if we needed help I said no just waiting for the bathroom and he responded with restrooms are for customers only. I think company's like this need to do better. Not only are you in a Tesla charging you should be prepared for Tourist. I knew it wasn't going to go well when I walked in and none of the workers turned to greet me. Girl 1 was hiding around the corner. Girl 2 was bagging up trash. She looked at me, but kept bagging up trash. I waited. Patiently. She washed her hands (thank goodness) and then just stood there looking at me. (Okay so is this when I ask questions or tell her my order? Idk) so I broke the silence and asked which breads were Vegan. She said none. I asked her if she was sure, so she asked Girl 1 who was still hiding out of my view. Nope. These two both answered that Subway does not have bread that is Vegan. So, I decided to Google it to make sure but the WiFi sucked so I wasn't able to do so. Long story short, yes Subway has several breads that are Vegan. Ugh. My person who made my sandwich Xavier was very rude and inconsiderate. When I snapped at him and mentioned that he put way too much mustard on my sandwich he looked at me and he said well do you want me to take a little off I took maybe half a teaspoon off, I asked him if you could take off more and he had an attitude since then. The manager was standing right by him when it happened when I went to apologize at the register for me snapping at him he totally and completely ignored me. DO NOT DO CURBSIDE PICKUP AS THEY DO NOT HONOR IT! The parking lot is small and crowded and the only curbside designated parking is always occupied with people from other businesses or people waiting in line. The owner is not only extremely rude but very unprofessional. They gave my mobile curbside pickup order to the wrong person because they don't verify and then got upset when we walked in and asked for it. Made us wait an additional 20 mins while being remade. When my husband called to complain about the curbside issue, the wait, and their mistake the owner yelled at my husband and told him he can't do the curbside as they can't leave their customers inside waiting... he also kept insinuating that we were the ones that picked it up and and that it was our fault they took our order he kept coming up with stories about how we were making him lose money. All instead of apologizing for their mistake. We even asked if we could take the woman's order who took ours as hers was now sitting there and they said no that it needed to be trashed. When the owner was on the phone he then told us how dare we ask for it and how she came to pick it up AFTER we left which is a lie since she ordered hers 40 mins before we got there and she had already taken our order, the point in asking him for it was to compensate for the wasted time. Something most businesses will offer when they're in the wrong. Whatever the case we told him it costed nothing to verify future order pickups to ensure it never happens again and instead of owning up to their mistake we got yelled at. We've been coming here since the building was made and its sad that business ended this way as they have now lost a loyal customer. When my husband told the owner "sir as a business owner myself the customer is always right" Owner's response: Thanks if I need business advice I'll make sure to call you. And hung up. Support a Local Business A wonderful couple owns the Subway in the College Park Center (by Hitch Burger) She ran the sandwich shop while he cut hair. They worked hard raising 2 sons until Covid came. His haircutting salon chair disappeared overnight. They barely kept the doors open at the Subway but they held on. Then came the employee shortage; The couple took turns opening and working through to closing because America's workforce made more money on the pogie, but they kept at it and made it through. Recently, a Subway franchisee in Rancho Cucamonga simply abandoned their store. Subway corporate reached out to the couple and they jumped at the opportunity to own a second store; however, if that store fails, they might fail, too. For the last few months, the new store, located at 9172, suite B, Foothill Blvd (at Lyon) had been closed but is now open and he runs the new place, along with their sons. If you're in Rancho and you're hungry, stop by and buy a couple of sandwiches or at the Upland location. Tell them Keith and his patient labrador, Wheezer, sent you. I've been here quite a few times now since my gf lives in the apartments across the street. Always friendly workers and it's never too busy even during lunch time. Clean bathrooms as well which is always a bonus. Also, there was no tax on the sandwiches which was nice. It would be $5 or $6 exactly. Some Subways charge and I end up paying $5.15 or something but here I didn't have to. At the end of the day though, it is still just a subway and the sandwiches aren't that crazy good or anything. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had called originally to complain about a sandwich I had just ordered, that was so soggy it was falling apart and wanted to come in and get a remake - as I live right outside the shopping centre, so I could literally walk there in 3 minutes from my home. But before I even had the chance to ask if I can come back in, I was met with a sassy attitude from a female employee (dark hair, black rim glasses) who tried convincing me that the reason why my sandwich was soggy was because it was extra toasted. What sense does that make? (Now I normally don't like complaining, nevertheless being confrontational in any way. But the fact of the matter was that my food was unfit for consumption. I mean, sure, I guess I could've stuck a straw right in the middle of it and called it a day - but I paid nearly $10 for mush, something that was supposed to be a crispy delectable sandwich. So I was not having this) I couldn't help but laugh at that ridiculous statement and told this employee that I have in fact, made sandwiches before, and that's not how food works. I told her I would be coming back in for a remake, and I was swiftly hung up on. Boy, I can tell you in all my years working in customer service - be it retail or the food service industry - I have never treated a paying customer with such disrespect. So I ended up driving the whole 30 seconds back there, and instead asked for a refund. I told the apologetic gentleman at the register, who made my sandwich btw, that he had no reason to be sorry. That it was the customer service I received over the phone that prompted me to change my mind about supporting this establishment. Have been eating meatball sandwiches from Subway for well over 30 years. Visiting this location a few weeks ago was the first time I've ever had it wrapped in aluminum foil before being covered by the sandwich wrapper. When I shared my surprise about this with the manager (possible owner), he told me it's supposed to be done that way to keep it warm and moist until you get it home. Common sense; but no other Subway I've ever visited, from around the nation, has taken the time to do it properly. This location is the real deal! read more

I asked if he would just re-make one of the sandwiches, he looked at like I was crazy. He said why should he fix what we ordered wrong. I told manager it was fine and left. Sad thing is we pick up lunch for our office at this Subway two to three times a week - about $200 a month. This place has scammers. They literally used a random machine to charge me twice for my order and when I called the manager about it she insisted that I was calling the wrong location as if I had no idea where I was. She stated that they didn't have another machine to charge on when the worker pulled one out from underneath the counter only to charge me and claim it didn't work, then asked me to swipe my other card on the original machine. I'm definitely complaining to corporate and the BBB about this situation. The owner of this location completely brushed it off and was rude about the entire thing, claiming it never even happened when I have all the proof from my bank statements. And not to mention the worker poured a tremendous amount of salt and pepper on my sandwich making me have to remove everything but the meat on my bread.
