With soft/hard waxing being the traditional way of hair removal, it's nice to see more sugaring places popping up. So when I Yelp and saw this new business awhile back AND the fact that there was a promotion for $49 for 2 Brazilians or Airbrush Tans, I just had to check them out. I'm not a fan of having to look for street parking anywhere. So I'm extremely pleased that this location has designated parking spots in a private lot (located in the back on Shopper's Lane). And of course there are street parking located right in the front should all the spots be taken. Getting an appointment can be easy. This just depends on how soon you need the appointment though. Booking a month out isn't a problem. But chances of getting a same day appointment is very unlikely. Since booking can be made online, I suggest you just refresh their calendar throughout the day(s). People do cancel their appointments. I have been able to snag appointments on my desired day by doing this. I have been to this location twice now for their waxing service. Both times was quick and efficient. I was very pleased with the thoroughness during my session on my first visit. On my second visit (with another waxer) though, there were strands of hair that she missed. Hopefully that was a one-off. I also appreciate the contactless checkout. They just charge it to the card you have on file. An automatic 18% gratuity is applied to all services. The facility is clean and well lit. The staff are friendly. I got my first spray tan here on Tuesday and Alexis was AMAZING!!! She was so knowledgeable about the different levels and what she thought would look best on my skin based on preference as I'm already melanated (biracial with black and white). We decided on a level 2 which would give a nice bronzy sun kissed looked and it was perfect! All the little poses were quick and efficient. I've gotten so many compliments one of my friends asked me if I was in love because of how I was glowing (biggest compliment ever btw)!!! It's the epitome of a turnkey business. My experience at every location is the same and every location has a familiar arrangement and decor. I love knowing what to expect and it being consistently great! I'm always greeted upon arrival, my appointment is always on time, I'm always walked to my room, I am always asked if I know the routine, I'm always given a towelette and a few minutes to undressed before my sugar, my aesthetician always knocks before she reenters, my aesthetician always confirms I want all my hair removed which is the standard Brazilian, my aesthetician always talks to me and confirms I'm ok to distract me when she's sugaring, then she always cleans me up, a puts after care on me, and reminds me of what not to do in the next 24 hours. Lastly, I'm given a few minutes to get dressed and when I leave the front desk confirms the gratuity and card on file are ok. I experience the same treatment at every location and I love it. The only news experience I recently had was I was given a mirror at the Pasadena location, which allowed me to check the finish service before I got dressed. That's was a nice service add. I love coming here for the sugaring services. This review is for the bronzing services. This was my first ever spray tan and I had no idea what the process was besides what I looked up online. Jewels did my tan, I got the #1 as she described it as the more natural look. I really just wanted to fix my tan lines because I have an event in the upcoming month so I wanted to trial if it could fix those unwanted lines. The process was only 15 minutes and Jewels was so helpful. Assisting me on how to stand and position for the spray tan. At the end of the service, she sent me a text with how to care for the tan and when to shower off. Overall my experience with the tanning was pretty good. I did kind of wish I went for the #2 tan shade because after I washed off the first layer 8+ hours later, I was still tan but it didn't cover my tan lines as much as I wanted it to. read more

S+B is great! The staff is friendly and efficient. The facilities are clean and beautiful- truly a luxe experience. My tan lasts 10 days!! My one recommendation is to please turn up the temperature- it is freezing and you have to stand there naked!!! If it was possible to somehow heat the rooms that would be great. read more

My sugarist today was Flor. She sucked!!! She was so rough with her technique and it just felt rushed (I hope I don't get any in-growns) I thought that maybe she was in a bad mood today or was about to be off work because she was just in a hurry. With the Brazilian it usually takes a good 20-25 mins with care. it took her 12 minutes ...12 painful minutes Anyways, if I do happen to go there again I will definitely NOT be going to her. I was so upset that I had to even give her the mandatory 18% gratuity because she didn't deserve it if I'm being honest. The front staff were great and the parking was good. read more

Ok I am officially obsessed !! This was my very first spray tan ever and I Heard good things about this place from my friend. It's in a good location - super close to where I live in Pasadena. There is a little lot behind it for parking and other lots nearby if needed! Right when we walked it we were greeted by the friendly staff. Then they directed me to the back for the spray tan and explained the levels. I got level 2 and was soooo happy with it! The girl spraying me was kind and efficient . It didn't take long at all - maybe like 20min total from arrival to exit ! The spray tan was simple . I don't think you have to remove all your clothes but I did and it was totally fine even for my first time ! They recommended level 1 but I'm super happy I got level 2 since I was testing it for my wedding. It was pretty dark that night until I was able to rinse off then it was fine . I will be taking a full shower soon but I'm sure it will last a while . I am overall very pleased and will definitely be back!! read more

I don't quite remember her name but she had lashes with a little color in them. She made me feel at ease and we had good conversation. My tan looks very natural.
