After patiently waiting for my turn to order I thought the man behind the counter would look at me and say how can I help you after he finished up with the customer before me. Instead he was so mesmerized by two women that had walked in, several minutes after me, wearing hijab that he greeted them first and didn't even look at me. He told them salam alekum and they were behind me. It was as if I didn't exist. For a second it looked like he was going to wait on them before me ! He didn't, but it was very rude. He finally asked me what I needed and completed the order. He rushed warming up my kabob to be able to wait on the women. This was my experience. Staff was friendly. I was not in a time crunch, but the service was prompt and after warming up my Kebob, I was quickly in and out with food in hand. Got chicken Kebob with a side salad and steamed spinach. Came with pita bread as well. Everything tasted good. Good amount of food. Really a nice place. Very clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The spicy chicken shwarma is great and the gyros are as well. I ordered the homemade hummus and they gave us a huge bowl with extra pita bread. The owner came over and chatted with us while we were waiting for our meals and it was worth the wait. But the hummus and tabouli were as good as any other Mediterranean restaurant, and the chicken kaboobs were juicy and an impressive size. AMAZING! You have to try the potatoes. They are out of this world. They have a savory, chicken-broth flavor and they melt in your mouth. I even went back for more to take home! Jacob and Omar were very charming and personable. I didn't get the name of the fellow at the register or the other cook, but they were ALL so kind. I felt very welcome.
