Wow this food is delicious! We've lived in the neighborhood since they've opened and are so mad we didn't try this sooner! My partner and I are both plant based and were so excited to see the red lentil option. The lentil balls were hearty and filling and didn't upset my stomach at all like fried falafel sometimes can!! Each ball was stuffed with fried onions which were *chefs kiss* I got the red lentil ball salad, the beets were sweet and tasty, the tabbouleh was super refreshing and the cabbage was an awesome color and touch to the salad! My partner got the red lentil wrap, devoured it, and basically ate the spicy red sauce with a spoon after. The man who helped us order was really nice and had awesome recommendations! On time delivery and great food! I highly recommend the banana dessert pudding that was my absolute favorite item and I would 100% go back for that pudding alone. Other items were fresh, the veggies in the wrap were really cold and crisp- the wrap itself seemed really wholesome and not some soggy over processed white flour wrap. I actually ate the wrap pretty fast so idk if it had sauce or not- but the on-the-side-sauce was super good and creamy. But honestly the banana pudding was so amazing! Its really filling with a homemade/comfort food feel, and doesn't have any trace of artificial banana flavor. I would say it's a good size for two people! read more

I've never met a hummus I didn't like. But I've also never met a hummus I loved as dearly as I did this one. The creamiest dreamiest hummus I've had outside of Israel ever. Clearly I'm in love. The roasted potatoes were good; came with an aioli we didn't remember till the taters were gone. Tabouleh was ok. But, the chickpea salad and the baba ghanoush were both phenomenal. Got this for take out and was delicious. We got the hummus, kofta bowl and kofta salad, soup, and another dip. Meat was good texture and flavor. The portions of everything were good size and spreads were fresh with the warm pita bread. We ordered online and our food was ready right when we got there. Delicious! I've ordered from here several times and always enjoyed it. The soups are great, and I particularly like their chicken wrap. A great mix of flavors and I love the purple sauce that it comes with as well. The only downside is since they are pickup/delivery only and I live a good distance away, if I order delivery, sometimes the wraps can get a little soggy by the time they make it home. Keep that in mind if your delivery distance is far - you may want to go with a bowl instead. read more

3.5 stars. Very conveniently close to home for emergency lunch needs when we weren't able to get to the store and needed something quick. The food is quality and the staff are super nice. However, the overall amount of food that we paid for was lacking and was very overpriced. The rice bowl, as others have previously lamented, is way too small. It's mostly rice, very little meat and there's almost no vegetables in it which was super disappointing - maybe 2-3 bits of bell pepper total and no zucchini as shown in the photos. It was way too overloaded with onions, even for this onion lover, which was probably their way of cutting costs on other veggies. The wrap was pretty basic, great flavors but again not much in it - I think they might have missed adding chickpeas to it. We received a huge portion of cacik, but only 3 pieces of pita bread to eat with it. We tried our best to put as much as we could on our dishes, but there was so much leftover there wasn't really any way to otherwise consume it. Maybe it was an off day. We were hoping for this to be a frequent spot for lunch as we shift to more work from home, but we haven't found ourselves inspired to come here yet again. The store front is elegantly put together and what I could see of the kitchen was pristine and sophisticated. Courtesy and speed were supremely in place, this is a well-managed operation. And...the food was delightful! We shared a generous kofte bowl. The well seasoned meatballs and the outstanding warm chick pea salad on top of fluffy basmati rice went beautifully with the included herb labne, we didn't need the hot sauce as we found the seasoning on the salad perfectly spicy. I think I could live on that salad! We also tried a side of their vinaigrette and sumac labne and loved both. The carrot labne will be a go-to party dip with warm pita and veg. It's hard to find a Turkish restaurant and I've been hoping to find a good one to start off with since I've literally never been to one. I love the ingredients that are frequently used in Turkish cuisine as I've been making a staple Turkish breakfast dish at home for the past few months. Aleppo pepper, yogurt, dill, hella olive oil yummmmm...so simple but with crazy amounts of flavor is always a win for the at home cook! My husband and I were in the Marina and wanted to see what would pop up on Yelp after searching "Turkish" food. Sumac was the first one that popped up and I was always interested in trying sumac as a spice (they always rave about it on Youtube cooking shows like Bon Appetit). We got the 'meatball' bowl and were very impressed how fresh, vibrant, and flavorful everything was. I loved dipping the meatballs in the provided labneh dip. With tip everything it was $18.88 which is kind of pricey for a bowl but it was very filling...chickpeas will do that to you!
