Very delicious Chinese food and it tasted hot and fresh and they were very polite quick delivery and the delivery boy was kind of cute ha ha

Up the street from me and when I'm home it's a regular eating spot.. Soo lets say twice a month. I have had a variety of things and never had a problem with anything. Very good spring rolls, and chicken wings believe it or not IF hot and fresh. (No delivery on those, that means) I would say a very consistent place. I ordered for delivery and was rushed off the phone, so I had to call back to complete my order and I specifically asked them to just give me duck sauce and hot mustard. I also asked for extra duck sauce and they said "no problem." When the driver finally arrived an hour and ten minutes later, my wife specifically asked him at the door if they remembered to give us sauce and he said "I'm not sure." I still have him a generous tip and sent him on his way. We then open the food and search everywhere and we have no sauce at all. I call the restaurant and tell them and they say "oh the driver forgot...let me see if he can bring it out." No one ever came back with any sauce, so I called back and told them that I am a customer that buys food from there at least twice a month and this is not the first time they've forgotten something whether I pick up or have the food delivered. It's happened with food every other time, not just sauce. They were not even willing to do anything for the inconvenience, so I demanded that they remove the tip I paid for the delivery and told them that I will never do business with them again since they weren't even thinking about doing anything to resolve the issue. I also told them I'd be posting this experience on Yelp if they were not going to do anything at all and since this testimony is now public you can see they did not care at all. read more

Sushi Rolls for $4.50 during happy hour, and they are darn good. Some of the best I've had, actually, which surprised me. The sushi won't be as elegantly presented as other places, but the taste was fresh and clean. The seaweed was very mild tasting, which is important...bad seaweed can ruin a good roll. The fried rice is out of this world; the meat in the pepper steak was tender and the vegetables fresh and crisp, not soggy. Summer Palace, Should very well take a field trip to different resturants around the United States. There famous line is "We do things different here" really! Iv'e been to this resturant twice never again! beef with broc, sauce very watery no flavor, shrimp egg foo young no flavor gravy watery like chicken broth, as a back up I ordered chicken wings (4) with tax $4.00 , came home only to find they give you chicken wing pieces not the whole wing and charge you $1.00 each piece. in all the states Iv'e live in or visited have never been charged $2.00 each piece, you get (4) complete wings. I called the resturant only to be told bring it back and they will return my money, but not sorry. I explained in the menu it states chicken wings not chicken pieces. if they did mention that. The patron can decide if this is how much they would be willing to pay for 4 peices. This resturant is small never more than 2 or 3 people in the place and you still have to what 20 or more minutes. Menus is over priced as well whether its lunch or dinner combinations little egg rolls half the size . Iv'e been to expensive resturant that are excellent and not charge $10.50 for shrimp egg foo young maybe I have to pay extra for taste and flavor who knows. I'm done no more chinese food for me unless I travel back North or South. I'm done with these resturants in Florida another chinese resturant in windixie strip mall nystyle I put in the garbage waste of money you will see for yourself. 1) ordered a roast pork dish and got bbq pork. When we explained, the manager acknowledged the misunderstanding but did not offer to replace the dish. 2) ordered a sashimi boat, forgot our miso soup. 3) AYCE options are really limited. You can't order sashimi but you can order nigiri. read more

Absolutely the BEST chinese food I've ever eaten! So much better than panda express and mall chinese. The pork fried rice is delicious and tastes fresh and homemade. Out of all the many, many options in Orlando, Summer Palace is our favorite Asian & sushi restaurant. My girlfriend and I love their pork friend rice and their sushi. We order take out or eat there almost once a week. I love their Philadelphia sushi. They provide good size portions and most importantly good quality food. We ordered takeout from this place yesterday. We got General Tso's chicken, shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, spicy tuna roll, and tuna nigiri. Our order arrived in about 40 minutes. Everything was great. We got the dinner-sized order of General Tso's and it yelded us 5 servings, and was still good reheated the next day. I hope this place stays this good. read more

after living in orlando for 6 months, i'm so pleased that i finally found my go-to STRP (spicy tuna roll place)! i can't speak for the chinese food, but both take-out and dine-in sushi are super fast and really good. they've added some new rolls recently - my friend and i tried a lobster tempura one a few weeks ago that was absolutely delicious! the place is small but is a really nice and cozy spot to grab a bite. read more

Summer Palace is the best Chinese Restaurant I've been to in Orlando. I've tried different dishes and they're all extremely good, i've done dine in, take out and delivvery. Food has always been up to par. Mongolian Beef is quite delicious. My favorite thing is their sushi, well one roll, they don't have a huge sushi selection,but the dragon roll is the best dragon roll i've had everrr. Usually I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. I typically find that the price to deliciousness ratio is never unite what I expect. That being said, my wife and I had some cashew chicken and lo mien delivered and it was pretty tasty. Not only that, but the protions were ridiculously large. My only complaint is that I asked for them go make the lo mien spicy, and I don't think that part of the order made it to the chef. Regardless of that point, we'll be ordering from Summer Palace again in the future. read more

Thumbs up. Sushi and Chinese at the same time. We had ala carte sushi, AYCE and an order of Kung Pao Chicken. The service was fast, friendly and accurate. The Nigri on the AYCE was limited in choices, but it covered the basics. The ala carte Nigri was complete and very reasonably priced at around 2.50 per piece. The Kung Pao was loaded with meat and fresh veggies that were not over cooked or drenched in sauce. If you are looking for high end sushi this is not the place for you. I can't say enough about how great our experience was here. There are several very mediocre Chinese restaurants in the area- this is not one of them! I went with my 3 kids tonight and they are all picky eaters and I didn't hear a single complaint from any of them! We all ordered and shared 2 egg rolls, 1 wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken (which they were nice enough to make unspicy for me) and it also came with white rice and fried rice. Everything was great. My chicken in the orange chicken was nice and tender - not tough like other places. My son and I were fighting over sharing the wonton soup! (Next time I'll get two) Even the rice was better than expected for a dish that is usually standard. The platterware is classy and cute and adds to the experience. Bathrooms were clean and well decorated with upgraded sinks. To me a clean bathroom means a clean kitchen. Our waiter was very friendly and served us with a smile. We did not order the sushi but we stayed until they closed and it looks like they do a very thorough and conscientious job of cleaning the sushi bar after closing.
