Their inspection from early July 2026 documented 19 violations, including several related to improper food handling and storage practices that could increase the risk of cross-contamination. While an inspection report doesn't necessarily mean people became sick, those are the kinds of issues that should never be overlooked. To be fair, Green House had a long history of passing inspections over the years. It's really only within the past year or so that the reports have become more concerning. I'm hoping they get things back on track because I'd genuinely like to order from them again. But until they demonstrate consistent improvement, this is unfortunately a hard pass for me.

Pros: Closest Chinese restaurant to my home Cons: Service was horrible, quality of food is poor, portion of food was small, overpriced Ordered take-out and was disappointed with overall experience. Egg drop soup was bland. Rice portion was also super small and not very good flavor. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce on the sweet and sour chicken. I called and they asked me if I would like for them to deliver it to my home with 2 complimentary egg rolls, they could deliver in 5 minutes. I said yes. 15 minutes later I called and asked what happened. I only live about 5 minutes away. Person on the phone thought I said I would pick it up. How on earth they understood that when they asked me specifically if I would like for them to deliver it and then confirmed the delivery time, is beyond me. Quality of food is poor, flavor is bland and it's overpriced. Almost $15 for a sweet and sour chicken combo is too expensive. I would expect to pay no more than $10-$11 for take-out. Do not recommend. Next time I will drive the 15 minutes to the next decent Chinese restaurant. I think that's the only reason they have stayed open this long, no real competition in the area. read more
