EXCELLENT SERVICE! A++ Thank you guys for your HONESTY. Came in with estimate of $280 to fix my non working radiator fan motor. Came out of the shop with a total bill of ONLY $14. After trying to fix my overheating car problem myself at home replacing relays and fan control modules myself and fan still not working I finally decided to go to Sun Auto Service Tropicana. After they did the free diagnostics they found out that it's a blown Mega Fuse problem not the fan motor and I payed $14 yayyyy!!!! I'm glad I went here to Sun Auto Service in Tropicana. Don't come here. I like this place usually but it must be the management at this location. I brought my car in to be checked out at 9:30am. I was told they won't be able to look at it for another hour or so. No big deal for me. I took an Uber home so I wouldn't have to wait there. I called back at 11 since I haven't heard anything, I was told my car was next. Ok. No biggie. Then I called back at 4pm. He went to "check" on it and they said, it was next. They close at 6. I told them I was coming to get my car. So I had to take another Uber to get a car that wasn't even assessed! I said I wanted to speak to a manager. He stated that he wanted a "specialist" to look at it, he had over 40 cars, and many more excuses. Bottom line. Just lazy and no accountability or compassion. Update: I went in for an oil change and left with my check engine light on & the car struggling to shift into 2nd. After 2 days (9 hours) of wasted time, the problems weren't resolved. They completely tried to cheat me. I brought my car in to be diagnosed and they told me my O2 sensors were bad and my engine mounts were broken. They gave me a $1700 estimate. After I decided to get a second opinion they said I could talk to a manager about the price. I think they saw my out of state plates and saw dollars. The friend confirmed I was being scammed. Honestly the first and last time I'm ever going here. The guy at the desk was super nice (Kevin). He was super friendly and actually listened and made the whole experience smooth until Lance. I swear to BOB I am NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN because of him. I took my truck in because it was making a funny sound and the RPMs were jumping even though I was at a low speed. My dad had this issue with his exact same truck and told me what to ask for. When I did, Lance calls me and he tells me I need a new engine and new transmission and it'll be $5,000 to fix. Mind you my truck only started making a noise the week of and nothing else was going on. When I called him back and said I'd be going elsewhere he LITERALLY LAUGHED at me. When I asked him a question about getting a new TPS and what the cost was, he again laughed at me and said "hun' you don't need a new TPS, yours is fine. What you need is a new transmission. Yours might last a day or 2 months but it'll strand you on the road." Not answering my original question. When I showed up to get my truck he rolled his eyes when I said who I was and went grab my keys. Kevin said Lance was getting my keys and I told him I'd prefer dealing with him. I don't want to deal with Lance. He understood and brought my keys. Honestly I would only go back if they GET RID OF him by FIRING LANCE!! So my Honda's wheel fell off... crazy, I know, I am just thankful that I was only going 15 mph when it happened. It cost $850 but it needed to be done and this car gets such good mileage that the long term cost for gas out ways the expanse. The guys had some good personality about them, I never felt that they were shady or trying to up sell me or bicker about price . In fact he gave me $40 dollars off that was just over the top service... to me that was kind and understand that a break is a good thing to share how ever you can.
