Hands down my favorite boba shop in Arcadia area! I would give it a 6 star if I could, for both drink quality and service :D It is not only a cute shop, filled with big and small boba squishmallows in the shop, but the staffs are super friendly and cute too. The squishmallows are for sale! It seems like a family run business, the man would happily greet and welcome customers, and he offered boba and their fresh squeezed orange juice samples when I first came. I haven't had boba in a fat minute but I can still tell quality of boba. Theirs was perfectly cooked and stored, still fresh and chewy, and was just rightly sweetened. It didn't feel like chewing on sugarcoated starch balls. My boyfriend and I are returning customers and our go to drinks are house special fruit tea (less ice; 75% sweet) and peach oolong tea (less ice; 25% sweet). The drinks are still sweet after the reduction, but they don't taste like straight articial fruit syrups. We can tell by the bit sourness and the fruit pulps in the drink (house special fruit tea). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the peach oolong tea. The drink is also not made from syrups or the normal white peach oolong tea leaves drink you can get from other places. The peach and tea flavors are distinct in this drink, you can smell the tea more but taste the peach more. I was amazed by the natural hint of peach sweetness in the tea; it just tasted clean, and leaving a refreshig after taste. We haven't get a chance to try the other drinks yet because we are pretty addicted to the fruit teas we get, but in the future we will continue coming back and maybe try new drinks! I've been focusing more on my Coffeeshop Chronicles as of late but every once in a while I stumble across a new boba shop that sways me back towards my original love (milk tea. Duh). And that is what Sun Tea Day did! Sun Tea took over T to Tea, so the shop interior is largely the same as before. BUT the drinks are different, and dare I say BETTER (please don't hate me T to Tea fans! Lol). I loved the two matcha drinks I've tried so far- the Strawberry matcha with oatmilk and the Skye Breeze. The strawberry matcha latte was significantly better than strawberry matchas I've had at other local boba spots, as the puree tasted freshly made from real fruit rather than having that straight out-of-a-can artificial preservative taste. As for the skye breeze drink, a matcha latte with heavy cream and blue butterfly pea tea, it was basically a delicious matcha dessert in liquid form. Anyways, I'm excited to go back and check out some of the other interesting drinks on their menu. There is a good selection on the menu to choose from, all which sound delicious. Was pretty sad to see T to Tea close down a few weeks ago - was more than surprised that there was a banner advertising a new drink place in T to Tea's place. I dropped by to see what drinks they were offering, and the nicest owners/staff came out to greet me and let me know what items they had left for that day. Since I really wanted to try the boba, I ended up stopping by the next day when there were more options to choose from. It seems like this new tea spot not only serves drinks, but also offers an assortment of Chinese dishes as well. From the menu, there's some options for cold cut meats, vegetables, etc. As for the drink menu, they've kept some of the more popular drinks from T to Tea and added a few more items to their menu. Price is decent with most drinks in the $4.50 - $5 range. I was in the mood for some milk tea, but it seems like they only have Thai tea, matcha milk tea, and summer rose milk tea. So I went with the next item that caught my eye - the strawberry green tea with boba (this drink includes green tea and a housemade strawberry puree). Price was $4.99 plus $0.50 for boba, which is typically how much a drink of this nature usually costs in the SGV area. They're still in their soft opening phase, so workers were training and getting used to making the drinks. Waited for just a few minutes before the drink was made. The drink itself was pretty refreshing and light. Boba was cooked on point, but could have been a tad bit sweeter. I think there could have been a little more strawberry puree added to give the drink a fruitier taste. I ordered this with less sugar, but I felt like the tea flavor was a little lacking. tl;dr - a new tea spot in place of what was once T to Tea. They're definitely still working out the kinks, but everybody working here is super nice. Drink was about 4 stars for me, but with the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere - makes me want to return and try some more items, so will round up to 5. Hopefully they'll do well! read more

I think this is seriously my favorite boba joint right now. They especially excel in non-caffeinated drinks, which are usually scarce at boba places (unless you get a lemonade of some sort). Their blended drinks are delicious and complex (eg with real fruit purées rather than a blanket syrup drink blended with ice). They also have an excellent house black milk tea, and matcha options (tho I haven't tried the matcha myself). They have limited hours, otherwise I'd probably be there more often, but it's never busy. Nice place to chill on a weekend afternoon! My friend chose Sun Tea Day for a Sunday catchup and it was a cute spot to sit around and hang out. I ordered the honey jasmine tea 50% sweet and no ice. They don't fill to the top if you get no ice and my tea was alright! They have a good amount of tables. The menu has a variety of matcha, milk tea, and regular tea drinks. They also have kids-size cups. My drink came out to be about $6 - which is a pretty average market price for boba these days. They have stamp cards if you're interested and the owner is very warm and loves explaining the menu / making recommendations. They have free wifi (and it's pretty fast)! There are plenty of outlets and a restroom in the back - you'll have to walk into the storage area to get to it. Another new boba shop in town and like that it felt family-owned with the owners literally outside trying to gather some customers. I love the effort and the drinks were pretty good. I decided on just an OG milk tea with boba. The tea had enough of a tea flavor that if nitpicky could be a bit stronger but still tasty. The milk hit the mark and I felt the boba has the right texture. They had other unique drinks on the menu such as a Ribena smoothie which I wish I say before I ordered.
