Firstly, do NOT park in their itty bitty parking lot. Just don't. It's horrendous! Park on the side streets instead. Secondly, ORDER ONLINE!! It shaved off some wait time for sure! I placed my order and was alerted via text message my drink order would be ready 30 minutes later. Even after arriving at my expected pick up time, I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes. There isn't much room inside the establishment either. The employees are working elbow to elbow in a cramped space behind the counter. A slight turn off was seeing boxes of their supplies taking over the main/front area. I get it. The place is small and there's no storage space. But, I think it should be a little more organized in that sense. Orders and payment are only done electronically. You can only order thru the self order kiosk inside or online. The drinks are excellent! All drinks are made to order which is why you should pack your patience. I enjoyed their taro boba milk. It's real taro that's puréed; not that artificial powered stuff. And, the boba is mildly sweet and chewy. I also liked that they offered non-dairy options such as oat milk and almond milk. Another Sunright Tea Studio has opened and that makes me so happy. This is the second location that I've been to and it's just as good as the other. Sunright Boba Milk Tea is a classic drink that you can never go wrong with. There is the perfect amount of brown sugar flavor and the boba is a nice chewy texture. I also tried two of the Brulee Lattes with Oat Milk - Four Seasons and Jasmine. These were super creamy and good! Both were similar, but you can definitely taste the difference in the teas. If you order online, you can easily come in to pick up your drinks. No waiting in line. I prefer this so I can get in and out of there quickly, considering the inside is quite small. There is also a very small parking lot in the back, but plenty of street parking. I'll be coming back here often! read more

Technically 4.5/5 stars, but for the sake of this review I am rounding it up. We love trying newly opened boba shops, and the teas looked amazing in pictures. They are currently having a soft opening, but offer surprisingly fast service! We ordered from a kiosk and picked up drinks at the counter. We ordered a boba milk tea and the sunright fruit tea. I really like that the drinks are not too sweet, and tea bases themselves are very good. However, they overcooked their boba for the milk tea. They was super bloated and not chewy. I think with a little more practice over the next few days, this could easily be overcome. Their sunright fruit tea has their four seasons tea with fresh squeezed OJ, passionfruit, and actual lemon and orange slices inside! The drink was very refreshing, and I really could taste the fresh OJ and passion fruit flavors. The lemon slices were not overwhelming, if you are worried the drink will be sour. The oranges actually balance it out very nicely. The prices here are decent, and right now, it is strictly to-go right during the pandemic. They have a pretty small parking lot, so I fear this may cause some parking problems in the future, if they get busier. read more

It's so nice to have a Sunright down the road from work! Another great addition to the SGV boba scene, and another shop to the growing Sunright chain that's taking over SoCal by storm. This store is definitely much smaller than the other Sunrights I've been to. Frankly, it's one of the smallest boba shops I can think of, so be prepared to deal with the small back parking lot and long, crowded waits on busy days. There's decent street parking in front of the shop and on the side street, if the back lot is full. Since it's COVID times, the side patio is closed off and there's no other outdoor seating. It's strictly order online or in person and to-go only. Online ordering is pretty easy, as well as ordering at the in-person kiosk. The staff is more than willing to help out with ordering at the kiosk, but all orders are currently done either of those ways; you can't order at the register just yet. here's a wide range of drink choices, and for each drink plenty of sweetness, ice and topping customization options. Group ordering (which I did for my work) can be a little stressful, but it's not complicated at the kiosk. The drinks are one of the most visually appealing of any boba shop, and are pretty refreshing as well. I got the matcha red bean frostie, which is somewhere between a ice cream frosty and smoothie. Topped with red bean and swirled with matcha brulee, it reminded me of a Hong Kong cafe iced red bean drink with a rich matcha kick to it. Very efficient service! Sure, the tiny parking lot may fill up quickly, but if you get anything above 0% sugar in your drinks it won't hurt to walk a little bit from nearby street parking. ;) The wait looks scary sometimes, but this is the fastest Sunright Tea Studio location I've visited. I don't tend to stray much from a 25% sweet oolong espresso oat milk drink, and luckily haven't experienced an oat/alternate milk shortage here like at the very popular Monterey Park location. But the service is nice, and the workers are sweet in my limited interactions with them as they pump out an inhuman amount of orders for the hordes that gather outside. Keep it up, fellas. read more

Some drinks I liked include the Oat Brûlée Latte series, the Strawberry FROSTIE, Mango Milk Tea, and a warm taro milk tea. I usually get 0% sweetness and add honey boba. The honey boba is light colored, almost translucent and not as sweet as brown sugar boba. I much prefer it. There is a parking lot behind the building and it is located right across from the high school. The interior is pretty small. I'm so happy they opened a new location near my work place! They're the only tea place I know that makes cream pudding. I often get their Ceylon milk tea with cream pudding (highly recommend). I decided to try their mango jasmine milk tea another time and it was okay. I'd stick to the milk tea with cream pudding and grapefruit green tea (not pictured). Sunright has been my favorite boba spot since they opened their Monterey Park location few years ago. I'm so glad they finally opened this location last year cause it was closer to work for me. I really love the ability to order everything online ahead to save time and it's ready for pick up when I get there, which is very important when you don't have much time during your work lunch break. My coworkers and I decided to order the Strawberry Jasmine Tea, Lemon Yakult, and Grapefruit Yakult. I have to sat that the Strawberry Jasmine Tea was my fave because I really love how the put small chunks of strawberries in the drink that brings out the fresh strawberry flavor. The Lemon Yakult on the other hand was a bit tart so if you like a sweeter drink, this might not be for you. The Grapefruit was refreshing and less tart compare to the Lemon one. Sunright has hands down become my FAVORITE place for milk tea in all of Socal. Their milk teas are so delectably milky/creamy and always the perfect amount of sweet based on my selection. I've tried the Little Tokyo, Monterey Park, and this location and flavors have been consistently good across each location. I tried the creamy pudding milk tea here with no ice and 75% sugar. It was super yummy! One thing about Sunright is that they use condensed milk for their milk teas and I think that's how they achieve that sweetness and creaminess. Really wish my self-indulgences were in check when I received my order... it never made it back on the car ride home hence the lacking photo. Regardless, this was a super pleasant experience contrasting my initial visit during their opening weeks. My Matcha Oolong Milk Tea was perfectly sweet thanks to their online recommendation and the Honey Boba was complementary to the mellow oolong-matcha milk base. The tapioca had great texture, taste, and sweetness while the base drink was homogeneous (no powdery taste/feel common with many and most matcha drinks) and delicious albeit lacking a distinct tea flavor. I ordered online since I was unsure of the wait and received a staggering 30 minute ETA. It finished in 2 minutes thankfully and I was really happy all my drink modifications were perfectly accommodated for. Even though the wait was short, I do wish the approximation was real-time. I understand that the exorbitant ETA is to create headroom for anxious customers during peak hours but it just makes it more difficult to coordinate a to-go pickup which is exactly what this location is designed around. Moreover, I wouldn't know if the ice was pre-mixed into the drink (therefore diluting it) assuming I got there 30 minutes later disregarding an early pick-up text. I know BoBaPOP mixes and seals the drink right before customer hand-off but just wondering if this location does it too. Anyway, these are just generally minor peeves that have become notable considerations in my experience. Although brief, my interaction with the *cashier* was nice minding the fact that she already had my order ready. The fruit drinks were good and have been consistently good. Their pearls are a bit hard and chewy but this is a matter of preference since some people do like this texture. If you live in SGV, you'll know that there is no lack of places to satisfy your boba craving in pretty much every nearby city in the area. I have always liked the quality of Sunright ever since I tried the location in Monterey Park, but as it started getting more popular, I was excited to hear about this SG location opening up since it was the closest driving distance for me. First thing you'll notice is that this location considerably smaller in size that its sibling location. It's tucked in a little street corner right next to the high school and parallel to the busy SG Blvd. The designated parking lot is pretty small and limited, but there is enough street parking for a quick stop and go. The drinks are pretty standard amongst all Sunrights, but my personal favorites are usually the Mango Milk Tea or Grapefruit Yakult. Also, they have add-ons such as drinkable mochi which I really enjoyed as it's pretty unique to Sunright (as far as I know). It is pretty limited supply though, since most of the time it seems to be sold out due to high demand. Tip: definitely order on the Toast app. Makes it quick and easy so you don't have to wait around since this location can get really busy esp during weekdays mid-afternoon after the kiddies get out of school. read more

SG Sunright location is probably my favorite. Less crowded and much faster service compared to MPK's where I've waited almost an hour for drinks...I usually order through TOAST and even though the general estimate for online order is 30 minute wait, I usually get a text that my order is ready within 10-15 mins max. Parking lot is small and a bit tight/inconvenient for getting out, but there's also plenty of street parking. They also have a kiosk for in-person ordering and payment is by card only. I love that their drinks can come with 0% added sweetness and the varieties of boba and toppings (I really like their honey boba and agar boba). My go-to order is their Taro Milk Tea with either of the aforementioned bobas. Also, a quick good customer service side note: when the TOAST app wasn't working correctly one day I was able to call the store & one of the staff took down all my information & said management would issue a refund since I had to do a re-order as their system didn't log any of the early orders. I am sad to say this Sunright location is by far my least favorite location after visiting more than a handful of times. It is quite hard to get out of their tight knit parking area if you have a hard time backing out of parking spots, you have a about 4-5 feet of leeway. I definitely recommend parking on the street if you can. It's right next to a high school as well. This location is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes they make their drinks on the sweeter side and in hindsight I ordered my drink 75-50% sweet; there was no sweetness at all. I do not recommend changing your ice level at this location either, it is quite water down when adjusting ice level to even light. I had to wait 45 minutes for one drink order on a Monday one time, not sure what happened but about 9 customers were waiting before I got there and more customers after me. This is definitely your average Boba spot. I was recommended to try this spot out since they're opening so many locations. I was excited to see they had coffee milk tea, but when I got there, I found out it's only at select locations. The customer service was really nice. My friends and I had a hard time navigating their electronic menu to put in our order, so the worker came around to assist. He also told us which locations had the coffee if we wanted to go there instead. Price is a bit expensive. I'm sure it's a little more expensive since they have the brown sugar Boba, however, it costs the same with or without the Boba, and costs extra if you want to replace the Boba with something else. I ended up getting their signature milk tea without Boba. I'm not a huge fan, but it seems like this is what makes their signature brown sugar Boba milk tea good. I like they still put some syrup in mine so it still had its sweetness to it. I'm not sure if I'll be back any time soon, but if I do, I'll probably go to the other location that has the coffee. It comes with some fruits inside you can ear after your drink. 2. Matcha Red Bean Frostie - My favorite. It's always so flavorful and they do not skimp out on the matcha. I used their online ordering system which was very easy to use. I ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea (includes boba) with 100% sweetness, no ice, and added creme brulee and mochi as my toppings. My brother got a taro milk tea with 120% sweetness and no ice. I was excited to try the mochi as it's something I've never seen in other places before. After ordering, I only waited 5 minutes until I got a text saying my drinks were ready! They were super fast which I appreciate. My drink was really tasty especially the mochi! I would definitely get it as a topping again, it was so good and unique. I didn't really taste the creme brulee unfortunately, maybe because I shook my drink a few times. The boba was soft and tender, just how I like it. The sweetness of my drink was perfect, it wasn't too sweet. Even my mother liked my drink as well as the mochi! She doesn't compliment drinks as much, so it goes to show how great Sunright is. I tried my brother's drink and it was great too!
